Chapter 12

“I-I’ll wear this one!” I desperately tried to stop the torture of the maids putting different outfits on me. I’ve lost count of the number of times I have changed within this day.

All I know is that I need to stop this – and fast. I get out of the changing room to see Walter sighing once again.

“It’s almost midnight! Just choose one already!” I scream out as I get frustrated – the limitations in my mobility only made it worse.

“Fine,” Walter suddenly stood up as he went into the walk-in wardrobe. All the things he had bought were placed inside, and surprisingly, it all fit.

He starts to pick out some pieces of clothing and walked around for accessories and shoes. I watched him as he walked around – extremely bored.

“He could’ve picked that out earlier! No need to torture me for hours – a day before my first day at work!” I furiously tried to clutch my hands – calming myself down.
