Chapter 11

I hum as I put on the business attire I needed for work – I had told my father of my plan and he said he was going to help me. However, I wanted to apply with my own qualifications.

Unfortunately, he didn’t agree – “Your face is known everywhere in the company, how do you plan to stay anonymous?”

He was right, all I could do was beg him to get me the lowest position as a blue-collar office worker. He finally agreed and now I’m preparing myself for the job tomorrow.

I chuckle to myself as I suddenly remembered Walter’s reaction when I told him about getting the job at my father’s company.

“Wha-What? But-,” he was thoroughly shocked and that was the funniest thing I saw that day – or even this whole year, maybe this decade?

“Don’t worry about it – I can handle it. Plus, I’d like it if I can get a little revenge for that woman,” I smirk as evil thoughts start to swarm my mind.
