As I Fall Deeper
In this current time and period, people have soulmates. The government has figured out a solution for the unhappy people that are in a relationship and the unhappy people not in a relationship. The solution was for everybody to have and find their own soulmate!
Currently, marriages are only accepted and can be done between two people who are soulmates. This was a happy solution since everybody now had someone who understood them and complimented them. Divorce in this day and age is rare and will only be accepted if the reason and situation are viable for the judge to agree on.
Soulmates can be found by seeing the red strings on your partner or their name somewhere on your body. Children can only be created between you and your soulmate, no one else.
This story is about a girl named Jiang An who met her soulmate who's in a relationship with his best friend. Spending all her time trying to make him happy and notice her, she gets tired and gives up when she finds out that the two have an engagement and wedding happening. Dejected and heartbroken, she leaves. When the two soulmates are apart from each other, they feel each other's emotions and pains with Jiang An trying to be happy as causing her soulmate pain hurts her. However, what Jiang An didn't know was that in the time she was gone, her soulmate made some realizations and felt even deeper pains than her, as he slowly began to fall.
Who will fall in love deeper this time, Jiang An or her soulmate?
(This is a short story, meaning I don't intend to make it as long as novels are. This story will probably end soon, I just don't know how many chapters and volumes I want.)
