66 The Shirogane family

A few days passed by after Shun returned from his trip with Phineas and Ferb. During this time, he had a date with Rumi, though it only included buying the console and having lunch outside, it was still considered as one by Shun.

He also spent some time Mirio and Tamaki, and chatted with Nejire who seemed to have found him on his social media....another thing for him to deal with as she was always busy in guessing his quirk and texting him.

Currently Shun was waiting in the park where he promised Kei to meet up if she decides something and waited there.

He played with his quirk for a while and around noon saw the young girl coming towards him with a backpack.

"Seeing that bag...I guess you have decided to meet your father."

"Yes, I want to meet my father and brother...but do you think that they would welcome me?" asked Kei with a slightly nervous look on her face.

Shun shrugged his shoulders and said, "Who knows, he should if he considers you his daughter." said Shun as he looked towards the girl.

The girl thought about it for a while before she clenched her small fists and nodded her head.

Shun just moved his hand forward and asked, "So shall we go....or you want to go back?"

"...Let's go." said Kei as she grabbed Shun's hand with both of her hands.

Shun nodded and then asked the address from her. Seeing that it was not that far away, he decided to go there on foot, since it was better for Kei to take her time to prepare herself before meeting them.

On the way Shun got a can of juice for both of them since it was quite hot outside and then continued his way towards Kei's father's home.

After an hour of walking and resting at different places both of them reached the place which Kei mentioned and after seeing the place where they were Shun somewhat knew why the mother must have left them.

He read about company which Kei told him about on internet. It was a fine company but seeing the current situation of the place where the CEO was living made him understand how hard it must have hit the woman who must have been living a quite luxurious life before this.

Both of them went to the floor where her family was living and Shun knocked on the door.

"We don't need any newspapers here...." said a voice which seemed to be from a young boy whom he assumed to be her brother.

He looked towards Kei who was embarrased by what her brother just said and asked, "You want to deliver some newspapers here, Kei?" which made her even more embarrased.

Shun knocked on the door once again, and this time instead of hearing the body's voice, they heard the sound of footsteps.

Soon the door opened slightly and bit peeked outside and looked at Shun.

"Yes?"

"Is this the Shirogane residence?"

"...Yes...is there some problem? Did my old man messed up somewhere?"

".... Hopefully not, but there was someone who wanted to come here...do you know her?" asked Shun as he moved to the side revealing Kei who was standing behind him feeling nervous.

"...Kei?"

"Nii-chan..."

"KEI!!!"

the boy's eye's widend in surprise bas he immediately came out of the house and hugged his sister who was surprised by the sudden hug.

"Are you alright? Is something wrong?" asked the boy looking at her with a worried expression.

"Nii-chan, stop. I am fine."

"W-w-wait, if you are here t-then that means m-mom-" said the boy as he started looking around.

Kei and Shun didn't say anything and just looked at the boy with a sadness. Though Shun doesn't feel much...let's just say that he might know what is going on through the boy's mind.

"W-where's m-mom?" asked the boy with a slight pleading look.

Seeing that Shun patted his shoulder making the boy look towards him and said, "Why not you take your sister inside and then talk with her."

The boy then realized that Shun was there as well and bowed his head feeling bad for ignoring him. Shun just told him that he was fine and then looked at Kei and said, "Well then Kei, I should go now." and patted her head before walking away.

But just he walk d a step further he felt his hand being grabbed by someone and immediately he tried to flip the person who held it over his shoulder but stopped seeing that it was Kei who was holding it.

"Stay for a bit Shun nii-san. A-Atleast till father returns." said Kei with tears threatening to come out of the eyes if Shun declined.

Shun looked at her brother who looked back at her sister with a slightly complex expression. He soon sighed and then welcomed both of them inside.

After that both the boys introduced themselves to each other and Miyuki, Kei's brother thanked him for helping his sister, but was seriously thi king whether he should let someone who suggested his sister to run away from her house be near her or not.

After half an hour the door opened and a man came insides and said, "What's up. Daddy in the house." making Shun look at the man with a deadpan look on his face while the siblings felt ashamed by what just happened and wanted to just bury themselves in a hole.

"Oh, some gues-....Kei? Is that you?" asked the man as the bag that was in his hands fell on the floor.

Kei looked up to see her father but averted her eyes as soon as they made contact.

"My beloved daughter." said the man as he rushed towards her and hugged her much to her embarrasment.

After they had their loving reunion the man looked at Shun. He stared at him for a while making Shun feel nervous and them immediately announced, "I will not give my daughter to the likes of you!"

"..."

"..."

"...huh?"

"What the hell are you talking about old man!!!" said Miyuki as he git up from his spot and looked at his father.

"Miyuki, I am very experienced man. Just from a glance, I can tell that he is here to take my daughter away fr-"

"What are you saying Papa!!! It's not like that!!!" said Kei as she started shaking her father.

Shun who was being accused of trying to take Kei remained silent and let the family deal with it.
