The total number of points of my team, is ten million two hundred and sixty-five points, of which one hundred and thirty-five points of Ochako, one hundred and twenty points of Mina, ten points of Mei, and as it is not hard to guess my ten million points. Since the leader of the team is the rider, it turns out that it's Mina now.
Our team is now the main target in the cavalry, because of my points...and because I easily made it through the first round, which means I can be a dangerous opponent in the next rounds. From an analytical point of view, I should be knocked out of the lead, so it's no surprise that with the announcement of the start of the second round from Mick, everyone immediately jumped on me.
- It's basically a fight for ten million! - shouted Tetsutetsu who had teamed up with his classmates. By the way, his full name is Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu...apparently his parents didn't think much about the originality of his name.
- Hehehehehe, we're coming for your scores! - exclaimed Hagakure as a rider, and her cavalry were Jiro, Sato, and Koda.
- Oh, we're going to be outnumbered! - Uraraka was frightened.
- Like I didn't see this coming. - I put two barriers around us, one on top of the other.
- Ouch! - Tetsutetsu literally flew with his entire team into my barrier, because they didn't have time to brake. Well at least their rider didn't touch the ground...but sprawled out on top of his teammates.
- This time I win! - Todoroki's team came close to me, and Shoko attacked me with ice that simply hit the barrier without leaving a scratch on it.
- I doubt that. - I smirked as my team didn't even move.
- Where's my blindfold?! - Hagakure suddenly shouted as her blindfold disappeared. Considering she's all invisible and no armband, putting her as a rider wasn't the best idea.
- What can we do, we survive as best we can. - said the blond guy in the rider's role, twirling Hagakure's blindfold on his finger as he took it. This guy's name is Neito Monoma, he's B-class, like Tetsutetsu, he doesn't particularly like my class, and me in particular either.
- Get out of my way, you two-face! - Katsuki was repelled by Shoko's explosions. - Ten million will be mine! - Bakugou growled angrily, attacking my barrier with blasts, and immediately, she was twisted by Sero's ribbon, pulling her back to her teammates.
- HUH?! CAN A RIDER BE SEPARATED FROM THE CAVALRY? - At the top of his voice, exclaimed the commentator.
- It's alright! The rider is forbidden to touch the ground, otherwise everything else is allowed! - Nemuri gave a thumbs-up, standing apart as a judge.
- Well, since it's allowed, I won't turn down the opportunity. Mina, jump on my neck and hold on tight.
- Whatever you say Captain! - Ashido cheerfully proclaimed as she jumped on my neck.
- You're not leaving! - Todoroki's team immediately jumped on us.
- Ochako, Hatsume, grab onto me and hold on as tightly as you can. - I dispelled the barriers, and soared into the sky, to the loud squeals of Mina and Uraraki.
- We're flying! - Uraraka grabbed onto me and clung to me tightly.
- Oh, that's right. Oh, I wish my baby could be of use here. - Hatsume sighed, stroking her jetpack on her back with one hand and holding onto me with the other.
- Mina, it's certainly nice of you to hold me so tightly, but I can't see anything. - I pulled Ashido's hand away from my eyes.
- I-z-v-i-n-i-n-i-n-i-n-i! - she stretched out the word loudly, all because I was speeding around the arena in high speed circles.
- AMAZINGLY, THE ASHIDO TEAM SOARED INTO THE SKY! - Essence Mick put in his word.
- That's not all. Create a construct: Mines. - I created many crystalline mines made of solid light, with a plasma ball inside that would fall into the arena in flight and explode on impact with the ground. Their power was about the same as the mines from the last test, so they couldn't really hurt anyone, but they could disorient them.
- ASHIDO TEAM, THROWING MINES AT THEIR OPPONENTS FROM THE AIR!
And so it went from there. All teams scattered to avoid the bombardment. Since Momo was present in Todoroki's team, she managed to create a metal plate that she and her teammates held above them to avoid the explosions. The others were coping as best they could. Kendo teamed up with the girls from B-class, she's a friendly person, so it's not surprising that she quickly made friends in the parallel class. So there they were just running from explosions, since no one had any protective quirks. Team Bakugou, defended himself from the mines, with Tokoyami's dark shadow, but you can see my light bombs did a lot of damage to the talking bird, since light is his weak point. Tetsutetsu simply took the blasts with his fortifications, protecting his teammates, while Neito's team defended themselves with a platform of compressed air created by Kosei Tsuburaba, an ally of Neito's whose quirk is to turn the air he exhales from a gaseous state into a solid state. The stands were roaring with excitement...like schoolchildren fighting over bandages and trying not to die from my bombardment. Soon, I stopped throwing mines at everyone and everything when referee Midnight announced the last seven minutes of the match.
Since I wasn't going to land, I was relatively safe for now because no one had the ability to fly or hover except Bakugou, but she was busy doing something right now.
Namely, wildly freaking out, chasing after Neito Monoma with the team because he had taken away her armband. Naito's quirk is nothing more than copying a quirk. He can copy any person's quirk by simply touching them. It's an interesting quirk, but I'm not sure how well this ability works with copying quirks like accumulation, the accumulated energy itself, he probably can't copy, and it's unlikely that he can use more than one quirk at a time.
Monoma copied Bakugou's quirk, and hit the girl who wasn't expecting it, with a blast right in the face. It was a good thing that she herself had a high resistance to explosions and didn't take damage, but it really pissed her off.
While Katsuki's team was busy doing their own thing, I decided to diversify my combat a bit, and pretended to be tired of flying and started to land, letting my teammates go back to their original cavalry position.
- This is our chance! Hang on guys, Reverse Acceleration! - Iida's engines suddenly boosted ten times their power, allowing him to accelerate at about the same speed as I was doing laps around the arena. Todoroki's team instantly converged with mine, literally in a second. - Todoroki now! Grab the blindfold!
- Too slow! Barrier! - I closed the barrier, and Team Todoroki crashed into my defence, but only sideways, so they were able to stay on their feet. - Mina!
- Got it! - Mina concentrated a lot of acid in her hands, and sent it in sprays straight at Shoko. She was just in time to cover herself from the attack by freezing a lot of ice on her hand and putting it forward as a shield to protect her from the acid.
- Iida, we have to leave, they'll take away the bandage. - gave Shoko a command
- Damn, I'm useless. I'm sorry guys, my engines stalled after backwards acceleration. - complained Iida.
- We're out of trumps, eh Todoroki? - I noted cheerfully.
Suddenly, Shoko's right side burst into flames, but only for a few seconds, and then went out when Todoroki put her head down.
- 1,300,000 volts! - Kaminari suddenly released the electricity from his body, while Todoroki and the others were covered by the insulating covering hastily created by Yaoyorozu. The lightning bolts indiscriminately struck all the nearby teams except our own, which, like last time, hit the barrier without harming anyone.
- You've learnt nothing Kaminari, in U.S.J and now, such an attack against me is useless. - I destabilised the barrier again and went on the attack myself. - Create construct: Endless volley of blades! - I created a multitude of blue bladed weapons, and using gravity control, I gave each weapon a twisting effect with weight zeroing, and scattered them in all directions. My gravity-enhanced weapons flew even faster and did more damage, causing all the teams to dodge and dodge.
- Holy shit! - The Bakugou cavalry ran after Monoma, closing in on the dark shadow that was already whimpering from my attacks.
- We need to regroup, we can't take the points in the open. - Todoroki's team retreated, as they had no other choice at the moment.
- Akira, you have such a powerful quirk, not like mine. - Uraraka was a little upset.
- Yeah, mine's no good either. In fact, of our class, only Bakugou and Todoroki have good quirks, compared to your classmate. - Mina concluded, and there was plenty of time to talk now, as all the teams realised that it was suicide to attack me openly.
- And my quirk is called 'Sight'. I can focus on a specific target and see it within five kilometres. - Hatsume explained, pointing a finger at her eye, whose pupil was very similar to the scope of a sniper rifle.
- I don't know, that's a little biased. You all have normal abilities, they're just not very useful in a fight.
- What a gentleman you are. - Mina bent over me, pressing her bulk against my head.
- Mina! - Ochako said jealously.
- Oh, it was an accident. - She pretended to be embarrassed and pulled away from me, and sceptically looked at her, conveying in a look, all that I think about her acting.
- TIME IS RUNNING OUT! COUNTING TOGETHER, PEOPLE! 10! 9... - Mick started the countdown, along with the audience. - 3, 2, 1! TIME'S UP! LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT THE TOP FOUR! ASHIDO'S TEAM IS IN FIRST PLACE!
- We won! - Ashido exclaimed with joy.
- ...IN SECOND PLACE IS TEAM TODOROKI!
- Damn it.. - Todoroki exhaled quietly.
- ...THIRD PLACE TEAM BAKUGOU!
- Aaaaaaah! - She yelled loudly as she sat on the ground. She was able to take away Monoma's blindfold, but she couldn't get hers back, plus she didn't get mine...geez, I feel bad for her, I didn't even have much contact with her in this challenge, concentrating on Todoroki, and she still basically lost to me again.
- AND FOURTH PLACE IS TEAM TETSUTE...WAIT A MINUTE, WHAT?! THAT'S TEAM SHINSHO!?!? - Mick was perplexed. Hitoshi Shinsho is the blue-haired kid from the General Education Department who recently threatened my class.
- Hitoshi Shinso, then. - I rolled up my sleeve and used my wristband to quickly find out what his powers were. I know the abilities and names of all of Yuei's more or less strong students, but this guy is a black sheep...mostly because the General Education Department is almost all suckers who didn't pass the entrance exam, so I wasn't interested in them at all. So, Shinso's quirk, Brainwashing, as the name says, is the ability to control a person's mind against their will. Naturally, this power has its own limitation, but it explains why he got the points so easily, and how he got Ojiro, Aoyama, and the overweight kid and B-grade on his team.
- Oh my god, what a beautiful baby. - Hatsume immediately grabbed my hand with the wristband and felt it from all sides, completely oblivious to the social distance...pressing her big breasts against my side.
- I'm lucky to be in close contact today. - I enjoyed a particularly close cuddle with soft pads.
- Titanium body, with inclusions of other metals, solid holograms and built-in interface, created by hand. Your baby is amazing! - Hatsume pressed herself even tighter against me, eyes sparkling.
- I'm pleasantly surprised Hatsume, it's hard to find a person as knowledgeable about technology these days. - I complimented her as I continued to enjoy the softness of her breasts.
- Akira! - Ochako shouted, and grabbed my other arm, pulling me towards her. So I left the grip of Mei's soft breasts...but my other hand was in the grip of Ochako's breasts.
- Ochako, I didn't know you were jealous. - Mina giggled softly, covering her mouth with the palm of her hand. A second later, Uraraka bounced away from me like a scalded girl, blushing.
- No, it's not like that! I'll go...' the red-faced girl ran away.
- What? - Mei didn't understand anything, tilting her head.
- Mizuiro... - I heard a voice behind me.
- Did you want something Todoroki? - I asked this strange cutie.
- Yes, can we step back for a few minutes, for a conversation? - Shoko asked me.
- Why not. Mina, Hatsume, I'll see you later. - I waved at them and followed Shoko. Mina gave me a thumbs-up, like she was wishing me luck.
We were alone to talk, at the emergency exit from the stadium, and leaning against the wall, I asked:
- So what did you want to ask me?
- ...I've been thinking about you a lot since I first saw you in class. - she started talking in two different ways. - From the very first day, you gave the impression of being strong and intelligent, a future hero, independent of anyone's opinion.
- Are you trying to tell me how you feel? If so, I'm flattered. - I expressed my option, and in response I received only a dumbfounded look from the girl.
- I think we should seal the relationship with a kiss. - I put my arm around Shoko's waist, and before she could say anything, I kissed her right on the lips.
- Mmm...' she tried to pull away, but when I brought my tongue into the action, Shoko relaxed and closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around my neck. And her tongue, half cold, half hot, just like the rest of her body. A slightly unfamiliar sensation, but I wouldn't say unpleasant.
Having had my fill of playing with the cold-hot princess, I parted our lips, still holding her in my arms.
-...- she didn't say anything, playing with my gaze for a few seconds, and then realising the position she was in, she gently pulled away from me.
- You have a very soft tongue Todoroki. - I remarked.
- That was my first kiss. - she whispered softly, touching her lips.
- I noticed, though your unusual fire and ice tongue is a very pleasant surprise.
- ...I didn't call you here because I wanted to confess my feelings.
- Oh, it's embarrassing, even hurtful. - I'm a little sad.
- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. - she replied with a hint of guilt. - I called you because I wanted to ask you something...You have something to do with the Almighty, don't you?
- Why the question? If you want to know if I'm related to him for any reason, I'm not. Although I will admit that I have had an unusual dialogue with him recently.
- My father, the Prospector, is hero number two. I'm sure you know about him. And if you do have something to do with Number One, then I should definitely defeat you. - she said seriously.
Angie Todoroki - he's hero number two, Prospector. A lot of people admire him...but I don't, although I don't have much respect for heroes other than Toshinori, and Prospector is definitely not on that list.
- It's good that you're being honest with me, but I still don't get it. - I said perplexed.
- Do you know about 'marriages for fads'?
- Yes, I think they became fashionable, since the second or third generation. The choice of mate was merely to improve one's quirk while passing it on to one's offspring. A lot of these marriages were forced. I would call it savage and barbaric, considering we live in the modern age, not to mention the possibility of a quirk mutation that would make the quirk not resemble any of the parents. - I brought my thoughts to that.
- Yes, every word you said is true. My father is a selfish and cruel bastard. He made a career of being a hero, but never managed to surpass number one, the Almighty. It became his eyesore, for life. And then he came up with a plan. - those words, she almost spit them out. - He fit right in with my mother's family and took over her quirk. All he wanted was to raise a hero that would be stronger than the Almighty... I will never be a weapon in that freak's hands! For as long as I can remember, Mum always cried...once she said my left side was ugly and then she splashed boiling water on me. - She put her hand on the burn under my right eye. - I want to beat you out of my own desire. I won't use my idiot father's quirk. I will become number one without her help, so I will show that I renounce his power.
Um, an unusual situation has occurred. I went with a pretty schoolgirl to a secluded spot, sucked her off, and then listened to a tirade about the difficulties of living with less than perfect parents. Good thing she's a girl, or if she was a guy and decided to tell me about her family problems in a private place, it would have smelled like blueberries...And Katsuki hid around the next corner and overheard our conversation.
- You know, Todoroki, you and I are a bit alike. We both have disgusting parents, although yours will be fine. - I said, causing the girl to look puzzled. - My mother abandoned me, literally, immediately after my birth, and my father I never knew, since my childhood, I was taken care of only by my grandfather, it was he who instilled in me the passion for battles.
- So, we really are a bit alike....
- Yes, but I still can't understand you. I know who I am. And I know that my power is mine alone. And your Todoroki flame is yours and no one else's. - I put my hand on her cheek and stroked it, touching her scar a couple of times with my fingers. - I think you know what I mean. We'll definitely meet again in battle, in the next challenge, so see you later fire and ice princess...and yes, I really enjoyed kissing you. - I took my hand away, and walked away, leaving the girl behind.
- I too, enjoyed kissing you...' she said quietly.
