Chapter 3 - Party like it's 1999: 2

"YOU WHAT?!" A booming, pissed-off-sounding voice echoed throughout a small office room as a set of violet eyes drilled into the terrified expression of one Nicholas Asahina. "You better give me one good reason as to why I don't kill you right now, Asahina. I thought you would be good enough to deal with some Standless brat! How the HELL did he beat you!?" The Boss spat, glaring at him with a wave of intense anger that caused Nicholas's soul to quiver in fear.

"I-I… look, I had him on the ropes, he was going to lose! But then…. I don't know how to explain it. It was like one of those Deus ex machina tropes that you see in movies. The moment I had the brat on the ropes, six other souls popped out of him and suppressed Brittle Bones Nicky! They weren't Stands, either. They were actual souls, like, other people. None of them that I recognized. I was overwhelmed and defeated. I ran away because I was terrified of what would happen when Inko got out of that Suitcase," Nicholas explained, earning a raised eyebrow from The Boss.

"Hmm… tell me more about these, other souls. What did they look like?" The Boss questioned, leaning back into his chair as he crossed his arms, a scowl taking over his expression. Nicholas let out a shaky sigh, closing his eyes as he thought back to what he saw that day. It had been two weeks ago. His memory of that day had been shaky, and he had been trying to purposely forget it.

He really, really didn't want to face the wrath of his boss, but he knew it was going to come sooner or later, which only seemed to make it worse. However, now that he was in front of his boss, he wasn't about to bitch out just because he had been yelled at and threatened.

So, with that in mind, he took in a deep breath and forced himself to remember the eyes of that boy's multiple souls.

"They were shapeless. They looked like nothing but black globs with vague humanoid shapes. They were all physically more powerful than any Stand I have had the misfortune to go against. They had different coloured eyes. Green, blue, yellow, red, orange, etcetera. I don't think that matters. But one thing is for certain, they weren't Stands! As I said, they were souls," Nicholas explained as The Boss frowned.

"I see…. So, in other words. You lost to some bullshit powerup that you couldn't have foreseen?" The Boss spat, earning a meek nod from Nicholas. There was a brief silence between The Boss and Nicholas. For a split second, Nicholas believed that The Boss had forgiven him for his failure. But that had been a mistake.

His acceptance of the fact that he lost to a last-minute power-up only seemed to piss The Boss off more. At that moment, The Boss lunged forward and grabbed Nicholas by the neck, a deep, violent glare in his eyes. Nicholas began to choke, trying desperately to get some air into his lungs, clawing at The Boss's hands. Alas, it was for naught, as the more he struggled, the harder The Bosses grip became.

"You listen to me, and you listen to me well, Asahina! I do not give two Iotas of a FUCK what you lost to. You FAILED your mission. Instead of playing stupid games, you should've shot the kid in the head and been done with it. Instead, you fucked around and let him get the chance to beat you! I should KILL you for your incompetence!" The Boss growled as Nicholas's face turned purple, his eyes looking about ready to burst out of their sockets.

The Boss's glare became cold, uncaring, and full of malice, a sneer taking up his expression before he dropped Nicholas to the floor, the shaggy-haired man gasping for breath. "But as it stands, I still need you. You're a good assassin. I can't kill you over one failed job mixed in with over a hundred successful ones. If I was a fool, I would've ended your life as we speak. But seeing as I am not, I know full well that you can redeem yourself. But that will be for later. However, now we both know not to mess with that brat. He seems to be more than meets the eye. You're dismissed."

As soon as his pardon was granted, Nicholas scrambled out of the office as fast as he could. All The Boss did was shake his head at his Assassins failure, grab the unlit cigar on his desk, and put it in his mouth. He grabbed a lighter from his pocket and lit the cigar, taking in a long drag of it before sighing, a trail of smoke following suit.

Asahina wasn't the strongest out of all of the Assassins. Not only that, but he now also doubled as the head of the debt collecting department ever since Makoto's death. It didn't help that Damnatio Ad Bestias was spread thin thanks to an agreement he made with The Shie Hissaikai.

"I shouldn't have lent half of my Assassins to them… the bastards don't even know how to use them," The Boss growled, looking down at his phone. Ever since The Speedwagon Foundation got involved with The Stand Bullets and their investigation into them started gaining headway, things had only gotten worse for them.

Every other day, he had to weed out a spy sent by the Speedwagon Foundation. Luckily, none of them had been Stand Users, but the point still stood. He was getting annoyed at having to deal with them. They had already been on his Gangs ass when they found out that over a quarter of their members were Stand Users.

They kept sticking their noses into places where they didn't belong. And it was starting to piss The Boss off. However, he knew full well that if it hadn't been for that Joestars son and his nosy friends getting in the way, things would've been progressing smoothly. Sure, he stole the Stand Arrow from The Chinese Branch all those years ago, and while that day would go down in his mind as one of the hardest fought days he had ever had the displeasure of going through, it was all worth it in the end.

And then there was Yoshihara Kira. Specifically, that last name. Kira. He knew he recognized it from somewhere. "I knew I remembered that name. I could never forget the guy that pushed me to my limits. The user of that pesky Cloud 9 Stand, Yoshimura Kira. Now I gotta deal with another Kira… and if that Birthmark on that Yoshimura Bastard is to be believed, she's also a Joestar. So, not only am I dealing with Johnny Kujo's kid, but I'm dealing with that Yoshimura asshole's daughter."

Taking the cigar out of his mouth, he stood up and walked over to the entrance of his office, and as soon as he exited, several people who were working at desks looked at him. "Uh, Blackwell, Sir, who was that who just ran out of your office?" One of the people asked as The Boss smirked.

"Just a reporter who thought it funny to walk into my establishment and try and ask some... not so nice questions about me for his paper. Don't worry, you won't see him again," The Boss said, a reassuring smile on his face as he walked past all of the workers.

Damnatio Ad Bestias's headquarters was an old abandoned office building that had been bought up and reused for the purpose of being an agency. At least, that was the cover story. To the public, they were a Hero Agency known as The Blackwell Agency, an Agency that primarily was used for stealth operations. But to those who did some digging, they knew full well that he was the exact opposite.

They would find one of the most terrifying Gangs in all of the world, second only to Passione. Although, those that do go digging don't exactly live long enough to spread the news. Henceforth why he had his assassins.

As for the name Blackwell, to put it simply, it was The Boss's undercover Hero name. He was ranked 11th on the Top 100 billboard, due to his outrageous physical strength, speed, as well as his powerful "Psychic Quirk" that no one knew the name of. He had been running this operation before the time All Might, and before Endeavour showed up, he was in the Top 5. But after that flaming bastard showed up, he was knocked down to 11th place, and stayed there, just above Mirko.

And Just like Mirko, he never accepted interns from hero schools. As for who the workers were, they were office workers that did his paperwork for his Agency. They were all paid handsomely. Though, if any of them figured out his true identity and what the Agency really was, they would have an assassin sent straight to their door, as all of them were chipped when they shook hands to become a member of the agency.

The chips would act as a microphone that would transcribe all the conversations his employees had. His information brokers would then note which of the employees had found out the truth and send an assassin to their address moments after they found out. It was how he was able to keep everything in line, and it was also how he was able to get away with this Ponzi Scheme of his. All of the investors that invested in his agency had all their funds pumped into the Criminal side of things, while they were told that it was being used to boost ratings through merchandise and that they would receive a 25% cut of the profits.

And while it was true that he did keep his word, it was more or less a 15% cut of the profits. Problem was that the investors noticed, but they either didn't care, or mysteriously disappeared after two months of pulling out and telling the world. However, thanks to Damnatio Ad Bestias' control over the media, the stories about them were deemed to be a lie.

However, thanks to being spread thin, he needed more funding. Damnatio Ad Bestias wasn't going to grow with just investor money. He needed more than that. He also needed, for the lack of a better word, lackies.

The Shie Hissaikai were good enough allies, and while they were the people helping to create the Stand Bullets, that was all they were good for. He didn't even know how the bullets were created. All he knew is that they would extract the virus from the arrows, and add a chemical compound to the bullets mixed with the virus that would erase Quirk's to allow the seamless transition for a Stand to take its place.

He never questioned it, mainly because he didn't want to get into a fight with his only real ally. So, he needed more firepower, and someone he could easily get rid of when the time needed it. Overhaul was useful, so he couldn't cut ties with him and exterminate the Shie Hissaikai. He needed someone expendable. Someone, he could easily kill if needed.

This was why he made that partnership with All For One.

As far as The Boss was concerned, All For One was a loose cannon that needed to be dealt with and to be dealt with fast. So, what better way than to worm into his operation and slowly take control, while also killing him once the bastard showed himself.

He wanted to be the one to deal the killing blow to that pompous bastard, and he planned to use All Might as bait. He knew full well that All For One wanted to go out in a blaze of glory against the #1 pro hero in all of Japan, and to then be placed in Tartarous prison after the fact.

But The Boss wouldn't allow it. Not after what he did to his little brother.

And when that day came, he would show Japan who the true mastermind was. Who the true King Of The Underworld was. He would singlehandedly crush the League of Villains, and kill All For One, all the while using the League of Villains to get rid of Kira Yoshihara and Kujo Josefumi without even so much as lifting a finger.

And if those two somehow survived what was to come… well, he did have the rest of his assassins. All he had to do was keep covering his tracks like he had been doing for the last 11 years, and his plan would work smoothly.

The Boss gazed out of his 5th storey window, looking over the beautiful city of Tokyo with a warm smile. "Lookout, Japan, because Taisuke Yagi is coming to reclaim his throne, and none of your pathetic heroes will stand a chance against me."

Tonight was the night of the party that Nemuri wanted to throw for one Tooru Tomioka, the doctor who both saved Yoshihara's life, as well as Nemuri's grandfather. However, the blonde-haired teen had some… reservations about the event.

One of those reservations had been the dress. In her humble opinion, wearing the dress that had been purchased for the event was a complete waste of time. However, she still wore it under the pretense that she didn't want to waste it.

The other guests also dressed formally, so it wasn't as if she was the only one. For example, when Tooru showed up, he had his poofy hair slicked back with gel. He wore a blue suit with a red tie and black dress shoes. Izuku did the same thing, though he kept his hair the way it always was, and the colour of his suit was green with a long black tie along with the usual sneakers he wore everywhere.

Nemuri wore a black dress with an exposed back and a laced up front. The ravenette parted her hair over to the left and braided it. Strangely enough, she wore her eye mask along with her dress, saying something about how it "added to the dress's integrity" or some fashion nonsense that Yoshihara was completely uninterested in.

Inko was wearing casual wear, stating that she didn't have anything fancy and felt ashamed after seeing everyone else dress up nice. Nemuri responded with a shrug, saying that it didn't quite matter and that she just wanted to bust out her more formal wear. Yoshihara couldn't tell if that made Inko feel any better, but she did smile.

Now, normally, Yoshihara wouldn't have brought up the dress being not worth the occasion. She had actually grown accustomed to it and was looking forward to wearing it to the party. But then when they arrived, all the wind had been knocked out of her sail when they showed up at what they had rented out.

The venue that Nemuri had rented out turned out to be a bar, which Yoshihara hadn't been too surprised about. What had been surprising was that it was a bowling bar. Why bowling? Well, Yoshihara knew full well as to why that was the case, and that reason was none other than the man sitting beside her, smoking a cigar.

"So, how've ya been, Yoshihara?" Akira Tomodachi questioned as the young blond Stand User shrugged, fiddling with a longer strand of blonde hair. Her former boss was outfitted in a plaid purple and white shirt, a pair of brown overalls with leather straps, and black shoes. "Ah, I see you've grown out your hair, it looks nice on you."

"Thank you…." Yoshihara replied, reaching over to grab the orange-flavoured Capri-sun she had gotten from the store on the way to the Bowling bar. Speaking of the bowling bar, the whole idea behind the location had been Akira's. Now, why on Earth did he pick a bowling bar? Well, the answer was quite simple.

Yoshihara loved bowling bars, though she never outwardly showed it. In fact, she never showed it. However, when the car did pull into the parking lot of one such place, Yoshihara couldn't help but show the faintest hint of a smile. Granted, the party was for Tooru, but the doctor seemingly was just as excited to get inside and bowl.

And as it turned out, the doctor had been a previous world champion of that particular bar. While it had been two years since he last bowled, the staff didn't seem to forget him, as they all greeted him with smiles and offered him free drinks, which he took with a smile. It also turned out that Akira had been on Tooru's bowling team, which was why he picked the location.

All and all, it was a win-win for everyone involved.

As Yoshihara put her Capri-sun back where she had before, she let out a sigh before glancing around the foyer, noticing a few missing people. "I see Otoshi and Sayaka couldn't make it?" The blonde stated as Akira let out a sigh, taking a long drag from his cigar before putting it out in the ashtray he brought.

"Yeah…. Sayaka was one of the people who got attacked during the Esuha incident. She's alive, but she's in a coma. Otoshi's been taking it badly, so I gave him a month's leave so that he could spend some time with her in the hospital," Akira stated, causing Yoshihara to flinch. "Sorry that you had to learn that from me. I knew you and her were close friends, but I knew Otoshi wouldn't tell you."

Yoshihara stayed silent, nodding in response to Akira as she took a bigger sip from her juice pouch. The blonde looked down the aisle and saw Izuku standing beside Tooru, the latter teaching him how to bowl. It was a first for the young green-haired teen, and he felt embarrassed about not knowing how. Tooru, bless his soul, decided to help the boy.

Akira followed Yoshihara's line of eyesight, then smirked. "That green-haired boy… Midoriya, was it? He was the kid who was in the Hospital after that villain attack. Said that you saved his life," Akira began as he gave Yoshihara a small smirk, though the smirk faded and went back to the more casual, neutral expression she always adorned.

"What's your point?" Yoshihara asked as the brown-haired man scoffed, grabbing the beer he had beside him, and after taking a sip, her former boss spoke with a hint of snark.

"The two of you are in the same class at U.A. of all places, and in the hero course no-less. Right? That's what Nemuri told me, anyway. Now, I don't know about you, but I know that you're friends. But normally, friends don't address one another by their first names. Now, I could be wrong; after all, I am old, and times change. But what doesn't change is the fact that you hate hugs." As Akira stated that, Yoshihara's cheeks flushed red at the mention of it, which only made his smirk increase.

"I've known you long enough to know that you and hugs don't mix. Whenever you do get hugs, you're hesitant at best, and outright don't reciprocate them at worst. But he hugged you, which you reciprocated without a single flinch or slow gesture. Which, as it would seem, caught the boy off guard completely, but I digress," Akira stated, taking another sip of his beer as Yoshihara cleared her throat, yet her blush didn't die down.

"So, I gotta ask," Akira continued, turning his head to look at Yoshihara, who was avoiding eye contact. There was a glint in his eyes as he spoke the next few words. "Is he your boyfriend?"

Yoshihara punched Akira in the shoulder with an annoyed expression on her face. "No. He's not my boyfriend. I'm single. Izuku and I are just… friends. That's it," Yoshihara responded, her cheeks red from embarrassment as Akira laughed uproariously.

"Oh my god! You should've seen the look on your face when I asked you that!" The brown-haired man said, a wide smile on his face. Yoshihara had Killer Queen knock him in the back of the head, which made him recoil slightly. "Right… gotta get used to the whole invisible spirit guardian thing you got."

There was a brief moment of silence as the two watched as Izuku got a strike for his first shot at bowling, shocking Tooru, who seemed a little bit envious of his beginner's luck. As Izuku finished his three bowling attempts, the last two ending in a spare, it was Tooru's turn to go. Yoshihara tuned out the world around her as she waited until it was her turn to be called up.

Taking another sip out of her orange Capri-sun, Yoshihara watched as Tooru used his Wonder Of U to throw the ball, earning two strikes in a row. On his third bowl, Wonder Of U missed two pins, which annoyed its user. Tooru then glanced over his shoulder, then nodded over to Yoshihara. "Oi, Kira-san, It's your turn," Tooru called over as the blonde Stand-user stood up, summoning Killer Queen to her side.

Tooru put away his Stand as Killer Queen grabbed one of the balls and waited for the pins to reset. "No fair, you guys are using your Stands, aren't you?" Izuku pouted as Yoshihara scoffed.

"Ghost privileges are ghost privileges, Izuku," Yoshihara responded, crossing her arms as The pink-humanoid cat-like Stand threw the ball down the aisle. The ball hit half of the pins, causing Yoshihara to scowl.

"What was that about ghost privileges?" Akira quipped, a smirk on his face, earning a frown from Kira. The blonde-haired teen then picked up the next bowling ball herself, and after lining it up with the rest of the pins, sent it down the lane. After it knocked down the other half, it was put down as a spare. After the pins reset, and the last ball came up, Yoshihara then picked up the final ball and had Killer Queen toss it down the lane.

As the ball travelled down the aisle, Yoshihara took a step back, and then, when the ball hit the pins, all of them were knocked down, save for one, which stumbled around for a second. Everyone watched with bated breath for it to fall over, save for Tooru and Kira, the former who noticed the small Sheer Heart Attack by the base of the pin. The tiny Sheer Heart Attack exploded, and the pin was knocked over, earning a cheer from Izuku and Akira, while Tooru simply smirked and shook his head.

"Akira, it's your turn!" Yoshihara called out. Akira put down his beer and teleported from his chair to the aisle.

"Time to show you lot what a bowling team champion member looks like," Akira said slyly, Tooru giving him a sheepish smile as the brunette smirked in his direction.

Over in the distance, Inko and Nemuri sat at the bar, the latter shooting back their 2nd shot of whisky, while the former held a margarita in her left hand. "So, this is your son's first time bowling?" Nemuri questioned as the older Midoriya sighed.

"Yeah. We've never had the money to take him out and do things. Not to mention his lack of friends made it difficult for him to ever have parties. This is the first party he's ever been to since Katsuki's 3rd birthday, and neither of them even remembers the party," Inko said, walking Izuku from the distance, a smile on his face as he watched Akira bowl three straight strikes in a row.

Nemuri chuckled, reclining into the countertop. "You know, Izuku is doing really good in all of his classes," the pro-hero said, catching Inko's attention.

"How do you know that?" Inko asked, raising an eyebrow as the ravenette chuckled. Nemuri snapped her fingers, placing her shot glass on the countertop, alerting the bartender to refill her shot glass. The pro hero caught the shot glass once it slid down the table, shot back the drink, then smiled.

"I'm one of his teachers, you know?" Nemuri began as Inko's eyes widened. "When he first started out at the school, I was a bit worried about him. I mean, his Quirk literally broke his bones whenever he used it. The general consensus at the time was that he wouldn't make it past a week due to the damage his own body suffered. Don't get me wrong, his personality, knowledge, and hell, his ability to adapt and make plans on a whim are downright spectacular, second best to All Might when he was a student at U.A. if the rumours are to be believed, that is," Nemuri continued, glancing over at Inko, whose smile radiated pride. However, it quickly shifted to one of concern.

"If that's the case, why was the general consensus that he wouldn't get past a week?" Inko asked as the ravenette let out a sigh.

"Don't get me wrong, he has the heart and personality to be a hero, but it was his Quirk that concerned everyone. Despite Aizawa being a hardass, he was right when he said that Izuku barely had any potential in the power department. His Quirk is so strong that his own body can't use it without breaking. Normally, that's a good thing. To have so much power that your own body can't even contain it is usually something hero schools are looking for. But when said power breaks the body upon use? Well, it's more a liability rather than a help," Nemuri explained matter-o-factly, earning a frown from Inko.

"But that's—" Inko was about to interject, only to be stopped by a single finger being raised from Nemuri.

"But. As of late, it would seem as if Izuku has gotten a better grasp on his Quirk. As I'm sure you know, he can channel it all throughout his body now. While there are times that he can overdo it, he barely does anymore. He calls this mode of his "Full Cowling." I don't know the ins and outs of this so-called "mode" of his; but it seems to boost his speed, physical abilities, and overall dexterity ten-fold. It's also just before the Sports Festival. A solid chunk of the Staff has their money pooled in that either one of the Stand Users is going to win, or Midoriya," Nemuri finished, smiling as she watched Tooru bowl another series of perfect strikes.

Inko felt her heart warm. Her son, her pride and joy, made it this far. While she herself would have to admit that she was worried for him when they started their training, she learned right away that her son wasn't someone to give up. Credit where credit was due, that little slice of personality was something that he most definitely picked up from her.

Looking over to Izuku, the green-haired teen was talking with Yoshihara. They two seemed to be enjoying themselves, Izuku laughing at something Yoshihara had said, to which that was when she remembered something. "Any new developments on Yoshihara's "secret" crush on my son?" Inko questioned as Nemuri smiled.

"She found Izuku's gift. Izuku left it in the living room when he came over, so when he left, I placed it in Yoshihara's room, and when I got back to pick her up, I saw her bookshelf. When I asked her about it, she was pretty happy. She didn't show anything to say that, but her eyes gleamed as if she was happier than a school girl who had their crush confess to them," Nemuri said, Inko giggling before taking a sip of her margarita.

"I thought you didn't drink?" The ravenette asked as Inko sighed, shrugging.

"What can I say? I don't do it at meetings or when I'm at home, but if it's a party, my brain tells me to at least have one drink so I don't feel like I did nothing," Inko responded, watching as Izuku got two gutter balls and then missed 4 out of the 12 pins. "Ooh… yikes," the greenette muttered, taking another sip from her drink. "That's gotta hurt the ego."

Nemuri snorted out a laugh as Yoshihara patted Izuku on the back. "Well, for his first time bowling, he's not doing too badly. I did way worse," Nemuri stated, letting out a sigh before turning around to face the bartender. "One bourbon, please," the ravenette said as Inko kept watch on the bowlers. Inko was glad that Izuku was having fun. The smile, the actual, genuine smile on his face was enough to tell the Midoriya matriarch that she had made the right choice.

Back with the bowlers, Yoshihara was lining up her shot, using Killer Queen's enhanced eyesight to get the right shot. The blonde threw the ball down the lane and as a result, was about to get a strike, only for the ball to make a sharp right and into the gutter. Yoshihara's eyes widened, trying to see if there was any foul play, only to find none.

However, when she looked over her shoulder, she saw Tooru trying to conceal a laugh. "Asshole." Yoshihara thought, glaring at the doctor. "Tooru, what the hell was that?" The blonde accused as the doctor raised his hands in a defensive manner.

"Hey, if we're using our Stands, then I can use mine," Tooru responded, summoning Wonder Of U behind him. "But you gotta figure out how I did that. If you can do that, then I'll stop. But until then, I'm gonna enjoy confusing you," Tooru responded, shooing Yoshihara away. "Well, you got two more shots. See if you can figure it out then. If you can't, I'll tell you," Tooru challenged, a glint in his eye as Yoshihara's narrowed.

"Fine."

And with that, the blonde set up her next shot, Killer Queen looking behind its user to watch for what Wonder Of U was going to do. Yoshihara lined up her shot and threw her ball down the lane. As the ball rolled, Killer Queen narrowed its eyes, yet Wonder Of U never moved even an inch. As for Yoshihara, she watched the ball carefully, and just as it was about to hit the pins, it swerved again. The ball fell into the gutter, which caused Yoshihara to frown.

"One more try~." Tooru taunted as Yoshihara grabbed the last ball. The blonde smiled, slipping a miniature Sheer Heart Attack into the ball before aiming down the lane. Tooru raised an eyebrow at what Yoshihara did, and then his eyes widened. "Oh shit! Uh, well, as long as she doesn't think about pursuing the truth, then she'll—"

And that was when a familiar feeling washed over Tooru. One that he knew far too well. The feeling of being pursued. In retrospect, he never really had Wonder Of U in its Attack form too often, and when he did have it in that phase, the power was dialled down to a one at all times. That way, he didn't hurt others too badly. It mostly acted as a deterrent.

But the moment Stands became involved, the power meter was shot up to at the minimum a five, and it would stay there, no matter how much he wanted to lower it. "And I can't do anything to stop whatever's about to happen. My best bet is to focus on the bowling ball. The worst I can make it do is land on her foot, or maybe… just have it sprain her wrist, then I can reverse it immediately after putting Wonder Of U into Deflecting mode." Tooru thought as Yoshihara started to throw the ball.

As soon as the blonde did that, the ball became twice as heavy in her hand, and as she was about to throw the ball, it damaged her wrist and plummeted to the ground. However, Tooru had underestimated the strength of the ball and ended up nearly breaking the blonde's wrist, rupturing skin and muscle, and causing immense pain. As a result, blood poured from the open wound, shocking Yoshihara!

The blond let out a muffled scream of pain, falling backwards as Akira and Izuku nearly launched themselves towards Yoshihara. Nemuri and Inko jumped up from their seats and rushed towards the rest of the group, Inko drawing out Fly, Fly Away out of reflex.

"Shit!" Tooru shouted, jumping up from his seat as Wonder Of U switched itself into its deflection mode, a blue aura forming over Yoshihara's wrist. Tooru walked up to Yoshihara and gently grabbed her hand with his right hand as he pulled out a medical bag.

"W-What the hell—"

"Don't. Say. A. Word." Tooru interrupted the blonde, narrowing his eyes at the wound he had created on a complete accident.

"What just happened!? Was it a Stand Attack?! Is there an enemy?!" Izuku cried out as Tooru shook his head.

"No. No there isn't an enemy Stand user," Tooru began as he rejoined the broken bone to the rest of the arm, and stitched the open parts of the wound together. Thankfully, the vein hadn't been damaged. Wonder Of U kept its ability focused solely on the wrist, enhancing the healing process, and making it seem like the wound hadn't even existed at all.

"Then… what the hell was that?" Akira said, looking at Tooru with a worried expression. "What happened Doc?" Yoshihara's former boss questioned as the doctor sighed.

"I activated Wonder Of U's ability to prank Yoshihara into making her constantly get gutter balls. Like I said back at the hospital when we first met, Kira, Kayama, Izuku, Mrs. Midoriya; Wonder Of U has complete control over Calamity. However, I can use it any way I want. I usually use it for healing. However, I can also swap it around and use it for offensive purposes," Tooru began as he let go of Yoshihara's wrist. The wound was completely healed, although the blond still felt a slight wrist pain, and there was a nasty scar around her wrist from where it broke.

"Wait just a second… that means what just happened was because of you?!" Nemuri near shouted as Tooru waggled his hand side to side.

"Yes, and no," Tooru responded as Nemuri glared at him, expecting an explanation. "You see, for something like that to happen, the person who is being targeted has to either want to pursue me or, they have to activate a Stand ability and want to pursue me. And seeing as she did both of those things by slipping Sheer Heart Attack into that hole of the bowling ball, Wonder Of U took that as an act of pursuing and proceeded to enact an equal attack as to what that would've done to me," Tooru continued, cursing under his breath as he stood up.

"Now, nothing would've happened to me, but Wonder Of U is an automatic Stand. I can't influence what it does once it makes its choice. Also, mid-Calamity exchange, I can't switch modes from its Attack Mode to its Deflect Mode. I didn't expect her to activate a Stand while trying to find out what I was doing, and as a result, she almost lost her wrist and hand. Thankfully for her, I'm a Doctor. So, I apologize for the pain I caused. It was completely unintentional."

Yoshihara stood up, shaking her hand. "I see… well, if it was an accident completely out of your control, I won't fault you," The blonde responded, crossing her arms. She glanced down at the blood splotch on the floor and grimaced. "Perhaps we should clean that up. I'd hate to get a fine for causing a bloody mess…."

Tooru smirked, grabbing a cloth from his medical bag. "Gotcha covered," The doctor responded, getting down on his hands and knees and cleaning the mess.

"Y-You're just going to accept his apology like that, Yos- I mean, Kira-san?" Izuku began as the blonde stared at the green-haired boy with a flat expression. The ninth holder of One For All sputtered at the expression he was given, only to earn a head shake from his friend.

"First of all, I said that you could call me Yoshihara. I get that in school you call me Kira-san, which annoys me. But, first and foremost," Yoshihara began as she looked around her, the adults talking to one another after Tooru cleaned the blood. "Let's go elsewhere. I've got a few things I want to talk to you about," Yoshihara continued, taking Izuku by the sleeve of his suit and dragging him elsewhere.

The greenette stammered, but couldn't get out a full sentence before being dragged over to the opposite end of the bowling bar and around a corner, out of sight. The two were alone, which was what the blonde wanted.

"Uh… Yoshihara? W-What did you w-want to talk about…?" Izuku questioned as the teenage Stand user let out a small sigh. She wasn't going to lie, being alone with Izuku always made her chest feel weird. Yoshihara would admit that she did, in fact, have a crush on the green-haired nerd. She didn't know why that was. Perhaps it was the fact that he treated her nicely? Maybe it was just how he looked? Yoshihara wasn't going to lie, Izuku was cute.

Or maybe it was because he was a determined worker? Always trying to go out of his way to make sure things work out as intended. The self-sacrificing bit was concerning, seeing as at the USJ he was ready to punch the man covered in hands, despite not knowing what he could do, and despite breaking his body to do so.

Or maybe it was—

"Stop. Think about that later. Don't get your mind cluttered up with all that love nonsense. You can't focus on that now…." Yoshihara thought, biting her lower lip. "But… this might be the only chance I get…." Yoshihara's thought continued. "No. Do that later. Talk to him about that later. Maybe after the Sports Festival…? No… if I'm going to ask him out on… what did Ashido-san call it? A date? Whatever, I have to do it now. No doubt he's going to be busy after the sports festival and—"

"Y-Yoshihara?" Izuku said her name, waving a hand in her face to get her attention, which did the trick in snapping her out of her thoughts. "S-Sorry, you uh… kinda spaced out…." Izuku said with a nervous chuckle. The blonde smiled, scratching the back of her head absently, giving the green-haired boy the smallest hint of a smile.

"Sorry about that, Midoriya. There are actually two things I wanted to talk to you about. The first thing is mostly pertaining to the Sports Festival," Yoshihara began, putting on a serious expression. For his part, Izuku felt a little bit nervous after Yoshihara switched her expression to that of something serious.

"O-Oh, Okay… what about it?" Izuku asked, raising an eyebrow. The blonde summoned Killer Queen behind her, to which Izuku immediately noticed its presence, shifting a bit in place after it showed up.

"Think this a declaration of war. During the Sports Festival, I will not be holding back even in the slightest. At the Sports Festival, I plan to reveal my Stand to everyone in the class. If I had to guess, Josefumi is planning to do the same. In that regard, I want you to not hold back, either. Just because we're friends doesn't mean we should go easy on one another," Yoshihara stated, earning a nod from Izuku.

"Yeah, b-but, don't you think it's a little unfair for the rest of the class to go against you using your full power?" Izuku questioned as Yoshihara shook her head.

"Fairness is not something thought of when war is considered. Think of the Sports Festival as a battleground. Everyone is after everyone. Adapt and overcome, or drown and die. That is how I imagine the sports festival to be. It is a massive free-for-all. I will not be taking sides, no matter what. The only exception is if there is a team, in which I will only work with my team and my team alone. Again, you should adopt that mindset as well," Yoshihara explained as the green-haired boy chuckled nervously once again.

"W-wow, Yoshihara… I didn't think you could become so analytical like that. It's kinda scary…." Izuku replied, scratching his cheek absently. "Uh… w-what was the other thing you wanted to talk about?" The green-haired boy asked. Yoshihara sucked in a deep breath before releasing it and clearing her throat.

"Well, to put it bluntly, Midoriya. I…." She found herself stumbling on the next few words, almost as if she didn't want to speak them, which made her cheeks light up ever-so-slightly with a bit of red. "I… well I was wondering if you might be busy after the Sports Festival tomorrow… because I… I wanted to… uh… go watch a movie with you. Just me and you, you know? Ugh, what did Ashido-san call it? A… A date?"

"…"

"Midoriya?"

"…"

"Izuku?"

"…"

"Izuku, You're scaring me, are you—"

It was at this point that Izuku's face went beet red as he began to sputter. Yoshihara felt a genuine smile come up on her face as the boy calmed himself down, looking at Yoshihara with a confused expression.

"A... A date? Y-You, want to go out on a date… with me?" Izuku asked, his eyes wide with shock as the blonde nodded.

"Yes. I'll pay for our tickets. I know you're kind of "strapped for cash" as Karera-chan would say. That way you don't have to use any money that you would need for bills and whatnot," Yoshihara replied. While the boy's cheeks were still red, they had significantly died down from before.

"I… uh… yeah, sure. I'll c-clear my calendar and put a reminder on my phone… Uh… there's a movie theatre near the Sports Festival Stadium, so after we get dropped off at the school after the Sports Festival, we can take a train back there. Um, did you have a movie in mind?" Izuku asked as the blond hummed.

"Well, when I spoke to Mina about this, she suggested something called Alien. Have you seen it before?" Yoshihara asked, glancing at Izuku, who shook his head.

"N-No. But it sounds cool. I'll just let my mom know, and you do the same. I-I wouldn't want to scare her, after all," Izuku said, rubbing the back of his neck as Yoshihara smiled.

"Sounds good, Izuku," Yoshihara replied as she looked around the corner. She noticed that Akira was approaching them, to which the blond tapped Izuku on the shoulder. "Akira's coming, act natural."

"There you two are. We decided to end the party early. Everyone kinda felt that the mood died down after the accident. I'm not letting Nemuri drive, she's had way too much to drink when it comes to driving, and I didn't even make it through one beer. So I'm driving you two home," Akira said, looking at Yoshihara. "Oh, and Midoriya, your mother is waiting for you outside. Don't forget to tell her about your guys' plans," Akira stated, motioning Yoshihara to follow him.

The two looked at one another with bamboozled expressions. All the while, Akira smirked, not saying anything. "Teenagers… well, at least Yoshihara's happy. That's all I care about," Akira thought, looking over his shoulder to see Yoshihara following behind him, waving off to Izuku, who was collecting stuff and helping some of the staff clean up some of the garbage the others forgot to throw out on the way there.

As they walked out of the bowling bar, Yoshihara was deep in thought. "I didn't think that would go as well as it did… at least I went with my gut." And as Yoshihara entered the car with Akira and Nemuri, a realization came over her, and that was when she saw the look on Akira's face. "Wait just a second, does that mean Akira was right from earlier?!"

And with that thought, the car pulled out of the parking lot, the clock hitting 12:00 AM. Tomorrow was going to be a long, busy day. After all, The Sports Festival was coming, and on top of that, she now had a date with Izuku.
