Chapter 8

"Huaaaam." I'm sleepy.

I sit on the chair and make my arms cross on the table so I can sleep on it. Really sleepy.

"Now now, drink some warm milk to help you wake up." Norvyn said. I drink it and I can feel myself waking up.

"Mmmm, sweet!" I said. The milk is really sweet, just what I like, but I like chocolate milk more. Hmmm, is chocolate milk even a milk if it's flavor is chocolate?

"Good morning Norvyn good morning Ari... where's papa?" I asked when I did not see papa.

"Good morning too young master. Master leaved early. He needs to go abroad because there is an important business that needs his attendance."

"Is that important business more important than me?"

"Young master that is not true. You know he's doing this for you right? For your future." Norvyn said.

"Sigh. I know but I never seen him this past few weeks. I just missed him." What son will not miss his only father? His only family? Yeah, I considered Ari and Norvyn as my family because they are here for me from the start, when I was a kid but... I want my true family. There's only two of us and we still can't meet each other? Sometimes I wish that papa will always be here. I'm so selfish....

"Don't be sad Cooper. We're here for you... and Kristine too. Oh and master said that he promise to be here tomorrow with souvenirs." Adrian said, trying he's best to comfort me, which works by the way.

Wait...

"REALLY?! PAPA WILL BE HERE? YEEYY!!!"

"Calm down Cooper we don't want to be so hyperactive do we?" Ari said, smiling at me.

"Ok got it! Whooh! ...Ummm just a question, What country is papa gone too?"

"He's in Acamthelenia now young master."

"Oh, not far from here." I live in Zuely, Sasto. My country is famous for its technology. Actually my papa is one of the top in technological advancements. Even though we're famous for our technology, Sasto are lacking in resources which Acamthelenia have. That's why papa's there.

I can't wait to see papa! Hmmm now I wonder what things he will bring...

"Eat now young master or your food will be cold." Norvyn said.

"Oh right! Hehe, I forgot that we have school today because I'm so excited!"

"Eat you food now." Ari said.

We are now in our school, walking our way to our first class. Just ten minutes before the bell rings. Hmmm, Riri said that she will tour us around but she still didn't do it. Maybe she forgot? That's possible. After all, there so many things happened this past few days, well for me at least...and Adrian. I think that I don't need her touring me around because I now know some places here but.. I still need someone to answer me if I ask directions.

"-oper. Cooper." Someone's tapping me on the shoulder.

"Huh?" I look beside me and I see Ari, frowning.

"We're here now. Sigh. You're doing it again." When I look around, I see the familiar door of our room. Oops, I didn't know that Ari is calling me because I'm in too deep in my thoughts.

"Sorry, I'm just thinking things."

"What things?" he asked while opening the door for us.

I sit in my chair. "Oh, just some things that happened to us this past few days."

"Still can't get over Calvin? Hahahaha!" Riri butts in.

"What? No! Riri I do not like him!"

"Did I say you like him? I said you still can't get over him. You're making things up... Oooohh Cooper! So that's your intention huh. You wanna talk to Calvin 'cos you like him? Yieee! You like him! Hahahaha!" Riri said with a loud voice. Now everyone's staring at us! Ayy Riri and her loud mouth!

"No! Riri stop teasing me! I don't like Calvin! We're both guys! How can we marry if we're both guys?"

"Ohhh so you don't like him because you can't marry him? Don't worry, you don't need marriage if you love each other." she said, patting me in the head. I like headpats but Riri's teasing headpats? I don't like.

"Kristine stop. You're gonna make his heart beats fast and we don't want that." Adrian said.

"Ok! Ok! I'll stop! But look at his face! So red, so cute!!! I just love teasing him!"

"Please don't do that anymore. I don't want anybody to misunderstand."

"I can't promise that I will not do it again but I'll try."

"Just promise me that you'll just lessen the times you'll tease me."

"Hehehe." ....what a weird laugh. Weird is a bad sign.

"And it's not like I tease you so many times. Cooper I just teased you for the first time."

"Yeah but I don't like it. Please promise me that you will lessen your teasing ok?"

"Sigh, fine! Like I can resist your adorable face." Riri said, rolling her eyes.

The bell rings and I see Ms. H entering the classroom. "Shall we start our discussion? Oh before that I need your attendance first. Just say present if you're here."

"Adrian Price?

"Present."

"Calvin Richards?"

"..."

"Is Calvin Richards here?" Ms. H asked again. Maybe Calvin is absent... again.

"Sigh. Present." said Calvin....Calvin?!

I looked behind where the voice came from and behold, That guy is here. If he's here from the beginning, it means he heard all of what Kristine and I talked about?! Omg...he heard it! So embarrassing! That's why I hate Riri's loud voice ahhhh!

"Kristine Smith?"

"Present!" she said. Don't present me! Aish!

I looked at her...no, more like glare at her.

She sees me glaring daggers at her. "What?" , saying it with a nonchalant voice. She didn't even notice that my face is telling her that I'm annoyed! It's official, I will ignore her for a day. Hmph!

I quit looking at her and just focus on the lesson. Let's see if she can resist me ignoring her. Muahahaha!

"Cooper! Hey! Don't ignore me! Coop—hey!"

"Hmph!" I cross my arms and turn my head sideways where I can't see her face. Serves you right!

"Wha— ok Adrian, tell me why's Cooper ignoring my beautiful self?"

I turned to Ari with 'Don't you dare say it or you'll doom' look.

"Sorry. Cooper says that I do not tell you the reason. Your on your own." Ari said without even sympathy in his eyes.

"Just because he's your boss you don't have your opinion! We're in the school so it's ok! Now come on tell me!"

"If I chose my own opinion you'll have no chance to find it out in the first place."

"Gasp! Y-you can't do that to me! I'm Kristine!"

"So what?"

"Gasp! I-i thought we're friends? What about our memories together?" Riri is always dramatic...

"Pfft..."

Kristine looks at me. "Cooper! Don't ignore me please! What did I do that you resort in doing that?"

"Hmmm let's see... Do you know that Calvin's in the class?"

"Yeah, why? Ohhh Yiee—wait no more teasing, no more teasing."

"When did you know?"

"Hmmm like after he said present when Ms. H call him. Why?"

I glare at her. She looks at me for a minute then her eyes widens. "Ohhhhh! Right...Don't worry he didn't heard it!"

"What do you mean he didn't heard it?! He surely did! Riri, you have a LOUD voice! For sure he heard it!" I said, stressing loud.

"Ok!" she said while raising her hands in 'I surrender' pose. "He heard it, so what? You're embarrassed? What's to be embarrassed for? All we did is teased each other.... well teasing you. He didn't even react to it."

"...."

"See? You can't even anwer. Sometimes you're more dramatic than me." Riri said, rolling her eyes.

I glared at her again.

"I'm sorry ok? I know that I'm wrong because i can't help my loud mouth, happy?" she whispers. This woman, can she be serious for a second?

"Hey my sorry is sincere! It's from the bottom of my m—heart. Tsk. If my tongue slipped, it will say mouth because we're always talking about my mouth."

"Are you two done talking because we only have 10 minutes left before our next class." Adrian said. Oops! Forgot again that were here at the cafeteria. We're lucky that no one's looking at us even though Riri always talk loud because number one: They're doing their own business, number two: They don't care about whatever we're doing, and number three: The cafeteria is always noisy and they are use to it.

"Oh right! We should hurry before we become late at our next lesson." I said.

Hmmmm... I don't see Calvin anywhere... Huh? No no no! Erase! Don't look for that irritating guy and just eat!

I wonder where is he this time of the day?

!? Ayyy what did I say?! Don't think and just eat your food!

"Hahahahaha!" My chain of thoughts are broken by someone's laugh. It's Riri's.

"Hahahaha! You look like you've eaten shi* with your face hahahahaha!" Eew this woman, talking about...uhhhh stool when eating.

"Kristine stop talking about disgusting things when we're eating." said Adrian with a stern and scolding tone.

"Sorry sorry hahahaha! Okay! Let's continue eating."

Sigh. Just dealing with Riri is....sigh. I become tired all of a sudden....
