The Inhabitants of Nereid 4
After the mercenaries left the establishment, everyone focused on finishing up their food. They were already close to being done, but now they had a bit more motivation to finish quickly. While they did not want to engage the mercenaries in the middle of the crowded restaurant, that did not mean they were planning on letting them get away.
As they were getting up to leave, the chef of their table stopped them to ask one last question.
"Do you folks happen to know those men in black?"
Rune hesitated, wondering if it was okay to answer. After a few moments of deliberation, he decided it was best to keep things vague.
"Something like that. Though, we aren't friends if that's what you were wondering?"
