The Inhabitants of Nereid 3

Rune was surprised to find that the best place for grilled meat was run by members of the Kraken race. On the inside, there was a total of eight community tables spread out for the floor plan. The tables themselves were a hybrid flat-top grill and table combo shaped in the form of a ring, with the inner half of the ring being the grill and the outer half being the table.

At the center of each was a Kraken chef who flipped and flourished a multitude of utensils as they cooked the food right in front of their customers, and their expert tentacles dished out grilled meats in all directions.

There was quite a variety of different races among the customers, and it wasn't just limited to those native to Nereid. There were some frogmen and even some humans among them. Had they migrated here long ago and were just never able to leave due to the dangerous nature of the surrounding seas?
