After Rune returned to the area where his group was seated, he looked toward the center of the arena and saw that the matches had already begun. From the looks of things, it appeared to be one of the weapons teachers up against one of the magic instructors.

Since Carin was the one to teach him everything he knew about fighting, he had not had the chance to meet any of the weapons teachers. But from what he was seeing, it did not seem like he was missing out on much. He recognized the magic instructor as the one who was teaching the class he tagged along to with Raya, but he wasn't versed enough in magic to say anything other than she was skilled.
