The sound of approaching footsteps grew louder as the Drahken slaver guards closed in on the control room. Ethan's heart raced as he and his crew prepared to defend their position. They had come too far to fail now. The control room was their key to freedom, and they couldn't let the slavers stop them from disabling the energy shackles.
Tazra took up a position by the door, her blasters primed and ready. "Here they come," she muttered, her eyes focused on the corridor beyond.
Lillith, ever eager for a fight, stood beside her, her crimson radiansaber humming in her hand. "I was starting to wonder if this would get interesting."
Xela crouched low, her sharp claws gleaming in the dim light. "Let them come. We'll tear them apart."
