And continued as she chuckled "Then I can blackmail you into giving me more pocket money, Heehh "She laughed like a villain.

Hhahahha… Ashley laughed like a witch.

"That's my daughter" the man sitting next to the woman blurted as he high Embraced his daughter.

Looking at both father and daughter the women couldn't help but think 'Are they possessed?'

"You both, please don't behave like this in Infront of my friend and the duke." the woman continued "Ahh, even their son"

Seeing his wife frustrated he wanted to calm her down "Come on Lily we are just playing you know"

"You better be" the woman sighed looking out of the window at the peaceful lands of the duchy.

Daniel Johnson is a man with broad shoulders. He has brown hair with green eyes which suits well with his handsome face and well-built figure. He Is the CAPTAIN of the knights of the royal army. He is a magic swordsman with a mana circle of level six with wind attributes.

Lily Johnson is a beautiful woman with blonde hair and pink eyes with a nice elegant figure. She married Daniel Johnson. She has a level four mana circle with a water attribute.

Lily and Catherine are best friends since childhood.

Ashley Johnson is a straightforward girl, she has blonde hair and pink eyes just like her mother, she acts quite noble but there is another mischievous side to her that she inherited from her father. Ashley didn't want her mother to be sad.

Daniel laid Lily's head on his shoulder " He will be fine since he woke up" Daniel shivered as he thought of the duke and commented "Afterall he is the son of the duke, the most powerful man in the kingdom"

The carriage stopped and a voice was heard as the door opened

"Sir, mam we have arrived"

"Oh, Yesh finally" Ashley screamed as hopped off the carriage in relief.

The mansion of the duke looked very beautiful, it looked like a replica of TAJ MAHAL.

They were waiting for William, Catherine and Lily were taking lady matters, while Lily kept looking around at the paintings on the walls.

Creek... a sound of the door opening.

"Sorry, I made you guys wait" All present in the hall turned their heads following the voice.

There stood a tall man with a perfect body and a handsome figure as he released his aura.

Daniel's face darkened in fear, even though he was powerful he knows he was nothing in front of William.

'What an intimidating aura, the strongest man with a mana circle of seven' Daniel thought as his body wouldn't move 'And the power of lightning'

William stood like a cat in front of a tiger.

On the other hand, it was Lily 'This man is a beast, every time I meet him, he sends chills through my spine' Lily visibly shivered

Catherine seeing the Johnson family in shock tried to break the silence.

"Welcome honey, I just showed them a tour of our mansion" Catherine looked at William with a happy face.

Shit no it's not a happy face, William knew the meaning behind it whenever she gives him that look.

William quickly released his aura and sat on one of the empty seats.

"Please no need for formalities take a seat, you are my wife's colleagues" William flashed a smile.

Everyone quickly obeyed Williams's words and they even forgot to greet them.

Looking at the sudden change in Duke attitude Lily glanced at Catherine 'Cathy you really tamed a beast'

They had their normal conversation when Catherine quickly checked on her future daughter-in-law.

Ashley didn't talk at all and kept staring at the ground.

Catherine commented trying to change the mood.

"hauuuggh," Catherine commented and turned to William "Isn't Ashley so cute?"

"A-ahh yes, Ashely looks beautiful," William said with a forced chuckle.

But Ashley looked at William with a forced smile as her sweat dripped down her face.

'She is definitely freaking out' Lily and Daniel thought in harmony.

Lily tried to divert the conversation.

"Huh, by the way, where is your son? Is he still in bed? and what about your daughter" Lily asked with a worried face to Catherine.

"ah no, he is able to walk on his own now, he will be here in a mome-"Before Catherine could finish Alan interpreted.

"Mom, Dad I am here "Alan glanced at everyone as he walked towards the group

"oh- I am Alan Carter, I am pleased to meet you" Alan greeted in a noble way.

"…Wow, how are you so handsome!!!" Ashley screamed as her eyes widened.

Ashley quickly realizing her mistake covered her face and hid behind her mother with a flushed face.

'Shit I am in trouble' Ashley muttered to herself thinking about Alan.

She has not seen anyone as handsome as Alan in her whole life.

Lily and Catherine flashed a smile at each other and whispered into each other's ears.

'What are these two women up to' William and Daniel thought in sync looking at each other.
