The accident

They finished their performance and came down.

I just sat down and thought how to talk to him. I really don't know how to start the conversation.

I was so much into my thoughts that I didn't realise they had seated themselves.

I got up and stood by the wall.

"Uh.. I have some other work. I'll come back later." I said and left.

I lied. It felt difficult. I couldn't do it. I went out to get some fresh air instead.

"Y/n, where are you going?" Tae Yong called me.

"For a walk." I said and walked. He joined me.

"So, did you talk?"

"I couldn't. I think I need some time. But I'll talk by today."

"Y/n, i know you wouldn't have really meant it. But you should've thought about it before you said."

That was true. I should've thought for a second at least.

"Yeah. That's one of the big mistake I did."

"Don't get so stressed about it or think too much. I'm sure he'll forgive you once he hears you out." I nodded.

"Coffee?"

"I'm good. If you want you can get yourself something." I said and stood by the road.

"Wait here." He said and went to a store near the coffee shop.

I just stood there and waited for him to come.

Suddenly, I got dashed by a vehicle. I fell to the ground. My eyes were half open.

"Hmn... look, look, look. (Laugh) You mess with my boyfriend, this is what you get bitch."

I knew it was a female. I couldn't see her properly but I heard what she said.

By the voice, I found out who it was.

Tae Yong's POV

I went to the store and bought some candies for y/n. I heard she likes them.

As I came out, I saw she was not there. She was on the ground. She was bleeding.

I dropped everything and went to her.

"Y/N?! Y/N?!" I called her.

She didn't respond. I carried her and then took her to the hospital.

On the way, I called her brother.

"Hello, baekhyun?"

"Yes."

"I'm Tae Yong. The designer. I'm a friend of y/n. Don't freak out but I have something to say."

"She got into an accident. I'm on the way to the hospital XYZ. Please come immediately."

"Ok." He said and cut the call.

I got to the hospital and admitted her. I filled up the forms for operation and waited for her brother to come.

Baekhyun's POV

I was in the washroom. As soon as I heard what Tae Yong said, I was shocked. I didn't know what to do. My mind froze.

Tears flowed. No one has grudge on her. She's really sweet and caring. She doesn't even have a heart to hurt others. But she's here hurt.

"Hyung, are you ok?" I heard someone. It was Taehyung.

"Y/n.... y/n..." I couldn't complete the sentence.

"What happened to y/n?" He asked.

"She got into an accident." I said and more tears flowed.

"What? How?"

"I don't know."

"Hyung it's ok. Let's go check her."

"I can't. I've still got the performance. I dont know what to do."

"Hyung, it's ok. You don't worry. We'll take care. For now, you concentrate on the performance. I'll go and check on her with the others." He said.

I nodded and we left.

Taehyung's POV

I dropped hyung in his room and went to my room.

"We need to leave now!" I said as I got in.

"Wae??" Jin hyung asked worried.

"Y/n got into an accident. She admitted at XYZ hospital. I assured baekhyun hyung that we'll take care of her. We should move now." I said.

They had the same reaction as me.

"What? How did it happen?" Jimin hyung asked worried.

"I don't know. Let's go." I said and we all left.

We soon reached the hospital. We all ran inside.

I saw Tae Yong.

"How is she? Is she fine?"

"I don't know. The doctor hasn't said anything. They're doing an operation."

"How did it happen?"

"I don't know. I went to a store and came back and saw her, she was bleeding. I got her here then."

Jimin's POV

I couldnt believe my ears. Y/n is hurt. She's really going through a lot.

I shouldn't have left her. I shouldn't have left it like that. If I was there, this wouldn't have happened.

A tears escaped from my eye.

I have to talk to her. I really have to. I started it and I'll end it.

The doctor came out.

"How is she?" Taehyung asked.

"She's in normal stage. But There's a lot of blood loss. We immediately need some blood donor. Any O+ve blood group?"

"I am." Jin hyung stepped forward.

"Ok. We'll check first and then collect. You may go with the nurse. And someone else can fill up these forms." He left with the nurse.

Jin hyung gave blood and came back.

I was really worried. Nothing should happen to her.

Why can't I get hurt? She's hurt herself a lot of times. Sh-she took in a bullet for me. She's done a lot for me. My mistake of letting her go.

"Hyung, I told you, you do miss her still." Taehyung said as he stood next to me.

"You were right. I'm gonna talk to her, once she's alright. You guys go home, I'll stay here." I said.

"Are you sure Jimin?" Namjoon hyung asked.

"I'm sure I'll take care. I'll inform when she's awake." I said.

They left one by one. Yoongi hyung stopped in his way and said,

"She really misses you so much. She probably regrets saying it to you. I'm sure she'll want to see you the first thing. Jimin, don't leave her this time. She needs you now more than ever." He left.

I waited out for the doctor to say anything further.

He came out.

"Is she alright now?"

"Yeah. The operation went well. She'll wake up by a day or two. You can see her if you want."

I bowed and he left. I went in and walked to her.

Tears flowed. I held her hand and said

"Y/n, I'm sorry I let go of you. I should've listened to you. It was my selfishness that I wanted you, brought you here. I'm sorry."

I put her hand down and sat by the attendants bed. I couldn't sleep. I kept looking at y/n.

When she'll wake up? When I can talk to her?

Seeing her, I fell asleep, sitting.

*next day

I woke up and saw she was still unconscious.

Suddenly the door opened revealing baekhyun hyung.

"How is she? Is she fine?" He asked worried.

"She's fine now. She'll wake up by today or tomorrow." I said and we seated ourselves.

"Jimin, thanks for staying here."

"It's ok."

"I heard about what happened between you both. It's none of your fault. Jimin, please stay with her. I did a mistake, but you don't do that again please. You know each other very well. You've been for her at every moment. Promise me, you'll stay by her side."

I promised him. He got up, looked at y/n and hugged me and left.

We were all shocked hearing that y/n got into an accident.

Baekhyun hyung was really worried. He was really sad that he couldn't be by her side now.

After our performance, we came down and got changed.

Suddenly, hyung fainted.

I sprinkled some water and he woke up.

"I need to see y/n." He said.

"Hyung, you're not well. Take rest and then you can see her tomorrow." I said.

"Jong in it's really important."

"Hyung I understand. But she'd also want you to be healthy."

He nodded and we left.

The next day, he got up early and ran to hospital.

He's really a good brother.

Y/n's POV

I felt cold suddenly. I tried opening my eyes but my eyelids were heavy. I managed to open and adjust with the lighting.

I looked at myself. I had a bandage in my head and hand and a few bruises.

I looked around and to my surprise I saw Jimin. He was sleeping.

Did he stay? Did he take care of me?

A tear escaped my eye. Slowly more started flowing.

Even though I said something worse, he still takes care of me.

I wiped my tears and was actually happy to see him. It's been two entire months from seeing each other.

For that two months itself I couldn't stay without him but I tried and yet I couldn't stop thinking about him.

Jimin's POV

I woke up and saw y/n was awake. I rubbed my eyes and saw she was crying.

"Y/n, are you feeling alright now?" I asked her as I went to her. She nodded her head and wiped her tears.

"I-I'll refresh and come." I said and went to the washroom.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I looked at myself in the mirror.

"Jimin, this is your chance. Talk to her. It's now or never. Telling my feelings to her now is not the right thing.

First, everything should go back to normal, then see. Don't panic. She's your friend, she'll understand." I said to myself and went out.

Y/n's POV

This is my chance. I have to talk to him. I have to apologise. It's ok if he doesn't want to see me again, but I need to get it out of my chest.

I can't say about my feelings now. Let things come together. I'll find the right time.

He came out of the washroom.

"Can you help me sit up?" I asked. He nodded and helped me.

He was about to leave but I stopped him, by holding his hand with my free hand.

"I-I need to talk to you."

He sat by the chair.

"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. I can't be without you. I made a mistake. I-i did a very terrible mistake in my life." As I said a tears escaped my eye.

"Y/n, I'm sorry too. I didn't have any rights to say who you should be with or who you shouldn't be with. We both are grown up but we still feel like we're children. It's not our fault though. I should've apologised that day, or else you wouldn't have ended up hurting yourself. I'm sorry it's my fault."

"No, you did nothing. My anger took over me. I shouldn't have yelled at you." Saying it, that day rewinded in my mind.

Tears flowed. I couldn't say anything else. I felt like something stuck in my throat. No words came except air.

Jimin got up and hugged me. I hugged him back and cried.

I missed this. I missed it so much. Everything of him made me happy.

"I missed you so much." I said.

"I missed you too." He said.

We broke the hug And he sat back.

"So how is Aerum? I heard you guys were together." I asked.

My mind was like why I had to ask that. But I was curious though.

"Uhh... w-we actually.... broke up."

"Wae?" I asked worried.

"I couldn't spend time with her, cause I had tight schedules. I didn't want to keep her waiting so I just broke it off."

I knew he's lying. I know it's not the truth. Cause whenever he lies, he fiddles with his fingers and rubs his wrist. But I don't know why he's lying.

"So, how's things going with you and Hwan, jinyoung?"

As he asked, I remembered that I had forgotten them.

"I-I didn't keep in contact with them."

"Why? They were good friends right?"

"Yeah they were. But I didn't... for you."

"For me?" I nodded.

"You're my friend and you choose the best for me. You told your decision, so I have to do it."

He held my hand and rubbed circles.

"You don't really need to do that." He said.

There was a pause and he continued.

"Y/n, you've gone through a lot. A lot of pain and hurt from the time I left. From the time we met, I don't want to leave you. I always wanted to protect you and keep you happy. I will protect you and make you happy."

I cupped his right cheek and said,

"Thank you."

The door opened wide revealing my brother.

"Y/n! You're awake. Thank god!" He said and hugged me tight. He was accompanied by Jong in.

"How are you feeling now?" He asked.

"Yeah. Getting better."

"I'll inform the others." Jimin said and went out.

"Hearing about you, hyung didn't eat anything. He even fainted once."

Hearing what Jong in said, I stared at oppa.

"What was it oppa? I'm not gonna die. It's just an accident."

"Don't say like that. What if it was something serious? No one knows what'll happen. And you're my only family."

"So are you oppa. You're my one and only family. Do you think I'll go easily? I'm your sister oppa. I'm not their (my parents) daughter. I'm your sister. I'm Byun Baekhyun's sister."

He hugged me tightly.

"Kai, thanks for telling and making him eat."

"It's ok. As a brother and a member, I did my job." I smiled.

"I'm feeling hungry." I said.

"I got you some food." Jimin came in with a tray.

"Looks like everything's going well with you guys." Oppa whispered. I nodded my head.

"Ok, we'll take a leave. I'll see you in the evening."

"Wait, you can have some food and leave." Jimin said.

"No it's ok. I'm already full by Jong in's breakfast. I'll have another day." He said and they both left.

"Wanna eat?"

"What else do I live for?" He smiled.

I tried eating but I couldn't. I had been in bed for two whole days and hadn't had anything. I felt weak. And I had some cuts and bruises. I just looked at my hand.

"I'll feed you." He said. Hearing him, I smiled. I opened my mouth wide open.

He smiled and fed me.

As I finished eating, the doctor came.

"Y/n, feeling good?"

"Yes doctor."

"You'll be under check up for few days. Then you can be discharged."

I nodded and he left.

Soon the members came in.

"Y/n are you ok?" It felt like a fish market everyone asking the same thing, to the same person but in a different moderation.

"I'm fine. Don't worry." I said.

"So when will you get discharged?" Namjoon oppa asked.

"In a day or two."

"Do you know who was behind this?" Taehyung asked.

I rewinded the time of the accident. The voice of that female. It was familiar.

"I'm not sure." I said. But I knew who possibly it could be.
