CHAPTER 224:FREEZE!
Slyvia was in the public Relations department of Luhyahood dream company. She had all the information on what was going on in the company.
She had tried her best by making her relationship with Miss Eva who was her biological mother work. They were on the talking terms now, that's after Miss Eva have told her the plan she had about Luhyahood company.
Slyvia was so happy because it will be as her revenge too. She wanted to revenge on Paul who lied to her that they will get married and ended up marrying another woman. He then lied to her that she will go with her to Nigeria and start a new life as couple while Paul studied. But in the end, Paul had left the country without informing her. So she was very furious, angry and disappointed in him. She just can't wait to take a revenge on him but destroying his wealth.
So on the weekends,Slyvia decided to visit her mother.
"Mum your daughter is here!" She shouted when she walked through the gate.
Miss Eva and Miss Alice we're busy inspecting the cargo that needed to be dispatched that day in the evening. They were in a secret room where no one expected that it existed.
Slyvia turned at looked at the security man who was seated on the chair at the gate. She opted to introduce herself incase the man doest know her.
"Hey my mum is called Eva have you seen her today?" Slyvia asked when she noticed that her mother have not come out of the villa yet.
"Yes ma'am but she is busy now I am sorry you will have......"
"She can't be busy for her daughter," she said cutting the security man off.
"I am sorry Ma'am, but they are busy in one of the rooms this villa, they have instructed me that if any visitors comes to see them I should instruct them to wait in that gazebo," the security officer said as he pointed at the gazebo beside the swimming pool.
"Are you out of your mind? I am not a visitor, you know my mother right? So I don't need your permission to see her. I am going inside the villa to search for her myself. After role your work is to take care of the gate," Slyvia sneared as she walked towards the Villa.
"Okay go ahead, let's see if you will be allowed to walk in even to near the room they are in," the security man murmured to himself as he looked at Slyvia who was swaying her behinds as she walked.
She walked in the first floor she didn't spot her or any person. The second floor that's when she was surprised when two men appeared out of nowhere and pointed guns on her as the shouted.
"Freeze! She halted in her steps as she dropped her purse that she was holding in her hands and carried her hands up. That was the first time she had visited her mother there so she was not aware of the rules.
"Who are you and what are you looking for?," One of the man shouted.
Slyvia couldn't open her mouth to answer because she was terrified.
"Can you answer us or I will blow your head clean right now," the man shouted to alert those who were inside that there was an intruder.
"I am...I am..slyvia my mother...
"Hey! Drop your guns, she is my daughter and not everyone need to be pointed a gun. She is unarmed and frigile can't you see?" Miss Eva said as she walked from one of the rooms.
"Mum, I was very scared..." Slyvia said as she run towards herother and hunged her tight.
"We are very sorry boss Madam, we didn't know that she is your daughter. You know some investigative police just dress like her so we can't differentiate. We were just doing our work and being extra careful," one of them said as their head were bowed.
"Okay go back to your position," Miss Eva instructed.
"I am sorry baby I didnt know that you can visit me at this time. Come, let's go to the gazebo and relax for time being," Miss Eva said as she took Slyvia's hand and descended the stairs with her
Slyvia was still trembling and her heart was still racing a bit faster,she was not calm yet.
When they arrived outside the Villa, the security man chuckled then joked at Slyvia.
"Small madam I told you to wait for big madam in the the gazebo you refused now you are back there, hehehe," he said.
Miss Eva looked at him at one glaze and he shut up and looked away.
"Mum, what are those men doing there in the villa. Why were you in a room and it's door closed,who was with you there mum?" She asked the moment she sat down in the gazebo.
"Sweetheart relax, mum was just busy we were counting money,my friends and I. You know how money is that's why we embloyed some guards," Miss Eva lied.
"Why did that man mention something to do with investigative police. Are you doing something illegal mum? I thought that you changed when you decided to stay here in the country?"
"Yes sweetheart I did that, you know we are involved in dollars exchange that's why we don't want the police to know because dollars exchange is carried in banks and not with individuals," Miss Eva said.
Slyvia looked at her in a doubtful way, she was not satisfied with the reply she has given her. 'Anyway I will have to mind my own business of becoming Mrs Wechuli when Paul's returns,'she thought.
"Anyway sweetheart tell me how the company is doing. You know I havet read the business news lately," Miss Eva said.
"The company is doing fine and everything is flowing according to what CEO wanted," she answered.
"That's so good," she said. Then looked into space as she thought, 'Let's see how you will survive this after my plan succeds,'
