CHAPTER 191:FITTING THE DRESS.
Things went on as planned, Ivana didn't stress herself but she made sure that she supervised her tailors everyday. After four days, the dresses were ready so Ivana called Lily to come and examine the dress and make some criticisms.
So that day Ivana received so many visitors, that was Lily and all her six bride's maid. The house was so lively as they praised her for how beautiful she was although with the pregnancy.
"I just hope and wish that my pregnancy will look good on me just like you are looking right now." Lily said happily.
"As long as you don't carry a high-risk one, you don't know how much I have to take rest. Like my doctor had warned me that if I stress myself that much I will be put under bed rest."
"What? I didn't know that but I wish all the best in pregnancy journey. Then hope you will grace my wedding Ivana." Lily said like one who was pleading.
"Me? grace your wedding? Hey you are a governor's daughter why should a nobody like me grace your wedding Lily?. Infact it's your big day."Ivana asked surprised.
"Who said that you are a nobody? Who told you that you are a nobody? Ivana do you know that you are the youngest richest lady in this country. And soon you will be the yourgest entrepreneur. I just want you to grace my wedding." Lily said.
"When did I become youngest richest person in the country. Do you know that they just rated me using my father's wealth. Actually I have nothing that I have created myself "
"Ma'am Ivana actually last month magazine, Western chronicle Magazine. You were listed as the youngest richest person." One of the Lily's bride's maid said.
"Aww really?, too bad I don't ready magazine or newspapers nowdays. Since the death of my father. I guess he was the reason why I used to read magazine and newspaper to stay updated."she said with a big smile .
"I guess we should hang out some days Ivana, now that I am busy with this wedding arrangements I will have to hurry up my dear." Lily said.
"It's okay I do understand how wedding arrangements can be a nuisance especially if you have a wedding planner who doesn't co-operate with you. Milka kindly bring me the dresses then take them to guest room up stairs the one beside Mish's room, I want them to try out on those dresses." She said to Mish who was seated at the dining room.
She walked upstairs to her room where I ana adviced her to keep them after they finished sewing. Ivaba was hoping and wishing that there is no mistakes on the dresses so she held her breathe when Milka handed Lily the whole dresses.
"I guess they should be the one to try them on first, but I trust you Ivana. I know the dresses are above my expectations." Lily said as she handed the dresses to her bride's maid.
"You never know, there might be some mistakes that maybe I didn't notice when making the dresses." Ivana said anxiously.
After five minutes the bride's maid walked down the stairs dressed in the dresses that Ivana had designed. Lily looked the with awe as her eyes were fixed on them. Her mouth was open and formed a letter O. She was so happy and amazed with how the dresses looked on them. She didn't contain her feelings as she stood up and started clapping happily.
"Bravo Ivana woow these is above my expectations. Woow it's so perfect, I wish that you could have made me a dress too. Just exactly as them I think jungle green looked nice on them woow." Lily said not containing her excitement.
"I am so happy that you love the dresses and the designs. So I think you have to put on your gown, I want to see how you will look like in it." She said pushing Lily slightly to go change.
After three minutes Ivana and Mish were standing down the stairs looking up waiting for her come down. The gown perfectly fit her, even Ivana herself was surprised with the work that Gloria and Milka had performed in that gown. It was exactly as she had drawn and imagined. She just looked at Milka then side hugged her. Gloria, stacy and Nekesa were seated in the dining room so Ivana gave them the thumbs up.
"I feel so lively, I feel like a model walking on the runway in this dress. Ivana I must say that you are talented girl. This is what I had dreamed of, what I had imagined and I can't just seem to see it as I reality now that I am dressed in it." Lily said as she walked down the stairs slowly like someone practicing how to walk down the isle.
"Actually I am so excited that you a love the dresses and they fit you perfectly. It's up to your liking, I was so anxious yesterday when I informed you that you should come and fit the dresses. I thought that you won't like it." Ivana said with her hands clasped together.
" I love this dress so much I guess you will be the one to design all my dresses that will be worn in my wedding." One of the bride's maid said happily.
"Mee too Ivana I will come and inform you when I am ready. Actually speaking the truth I am so Jelousy of Lily's evening gown, if it was not customized to her. I would have suggested that you make me exactly like this one o my wedding." The other bride maid said.
"I don't want any of you having similar gown like mine. I actually having a second thought of changing my gown Ivana. What do you think? " Lily asked.
"What do you mean you want to change the gown that you will use to walk down the isle. Like right now? I can't lie to you that l will be able to make it. My doctor have adviced me to get enough rest Lily." She said apolegetically.
