CHAPTER 190:YOUR UNCLE.
All the media houses in the country that day were paid for live coverage of Grand opening of Luhyahood dream company. Indeed the publicity band marketing were on the top notch. As the local musician, actors and the comedians were paid to entertain bother the citizens that were present together with the employees.
According to the publicity research conducted on that day ninety percentage of the citizen were watching the celebration. Most people that were very happy and delighted about the company were the actors especially the upcoming actors.
"What took them so long to bring the company back to its feet?"
"They didn't care the well being of the employees that lost their jobs."
"Look at the amount of money that they have wasted to publicize the company again."
"I don't care at how much they have wasted on this, what I care most is that if they have cooked food for us."
The citizen were clamoring amongest themselves as they sat under the Sun waiting for the speech from the CEO of the company then maybe have food to eat.
After every musician, comedian and the invited guest had spoken. It was now time to listen to the speech of the CEO. She stood up up and walked to the stand.
"Hello everyone, I am so delighted that you came to witness the Grand opening of the Luhyahood dream company. Thank you so much, I will read you little speech then after that, we have prepared something little for you to eat before going home." When Mrs Wechuli said that the crowd clapped and cheered to her as that was the only important thing they have heard since the start of the celebration.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Extinguished guest, I am standing here to share my happiness with you today. I am so happy that after Mr Bombwe passed away, the company didn't performe well and that lead to its collapsing. I felt so bad because I was the one in charge of it. Most people saw me as a failure and many people listened about the rumours that were going around. I am here to say that the rumours were all lies. I acquired this company legally from Mr Bombwe before he died. And his brother can affirm that because he was one of the witnesses. That one aside as today is a day of celebration. I am so happy because I have managed to bring it back to operation. As the saying goes by what a man can do a woman can do better.
I am here to be an example to other women and to be an encouragement to. I want to tell you nothing is impossible when you focus on it , even the word itself is I'm possible. So don't ever give up when you want to get things done.
I am the new CEO of the company and hope we are going to walk in this journey together of making Kenyan films spread all over the world. I hope and trust that the Luhyahood dream company will be the source and the success of Kenhood. Long live the Luhyahood Company.
She finished the speech and went and sat down so the Master of Ceremony took over and said,"Say this after me Long Live the Luhyahood dream company." The crowd repeated then the Master of Ceremony said, "so the executive the company will have their lunch in board meeting. The supporting staff will have their lunch in conference and the remaining will make a queue behind the storey building."

The employees and the public started leaving after finishing eating. Among those who left Immediately were Miss Grace and John. John couldn't keep his curiosity to himself as he wanted to ask his mother so badly. So he waited until they arrived at the path that leads to where they had rented then asked.
"Mum, I have something to ask you, please be open to me, don't lie." John said.
"What is it? And what are you saying that I should not lie to you? When did I do that?" Miss Grace asked experatedly.
"Mum don't take me wrongly, Mum do you know Mr Mukhongo?" John dropped his question surprising his mother.
"Yes,I mean No, Why are you asking me that?" Miss Grace asked as he walked away.
"Because he somehow resemble the man on the picture I had seen in your bag." John said with his head bowed.
"What you went ahead and checked my bag John, without my permission?" John said.
Miss Grace looked and him then took a deep breathe then sighed. "I am going to te you the truth but that doesn't mean that you will go and approach him or Introduce yourself to him. He is not a nice person son, you need to keep away from him, even if you don't know each other yet." Miss Grace said.
"Is he brother to dad?"
"Yes, he is your uncle, John, when I left their family His wife Elizabeth had just given birth a month or so, bit unfortunately she passed away before she could introduce her daughter to me, you have a cousin that you don't know" Miss Grace said.
"So you mean I should be careful when hitting on girls?" John said jokingly.
"Why do you say so?" Miss Grace asked with a smile.
"Because I might end up dating my cousin and who knows we might end up committing a taboo.Nkw do you now get it why I always push you to introduce ourselves to Ivana. Through Ivana we will get to know my cousin I guess they know each other." John said expecting a positive reply from his mother.
"That's a genuine reason but that doesn't mean that we hurry up things without having a plan."
"Which plan?, what plan? You always talk about plan,plan. When are you going to tell me about your plan. I don't even know if you have that plan that you always talk about Mum. I will jus have to do my own things my own ways." John said as he walked ahead of her and opened the house.
