CHAPTER 18:WE NEED THE WILL.
The following day after the board members learned about the death of the Luhyahood Company CEO. They requested the meeting. Mr. Mukhongo was so happy because he already knew what the board wanted. He was so happy because he was going to be a fully installed CEO than an interim CEO he was.
That morning he received a phone call from Mrs. Wechuli reprimanding him that he should not mess up their deal or else he knows what that woman is capable of doing.
When he asked how she learned about the board meeting. She said that she has the shares in the company so he should stick to his job. For the first time since he was born, he got scared by a woman.
*During the board meeting*
"Mr. Mukhongo why didn't you inform Ms. Bombwe about the meeting? Doesn't she deserve to know what is going on about the company?" One of the board members asked.
"She is not in the right mind right now, since this meeting was impromptu meeting l didn't tell her,"he replied.
"Then how are we going to decide the future of the company if the real heiress is not here?" Mr. Sakwa asked.
"That's not hard Mr. Sakwa since it's my brother's company l know what is the best for the future of the company" Mr. Mukhongo answered.
"Ooh really? Did Mr . Bombwe tell you to take care of the company before he died? Or there is something that we don't know sir?" Mr. Sakwa asked."
He then turned to the rest of the board,"I think for everything to be clear we need his will, what do you think?" He asked the rest of the board.
"Yeah that is okay with me"
"That's fine"
"That's a great idea"
The member answered leaving Mr. Mukhongo with no choice but to end the meeting. He was left there sweating profusely. Mrs. Wechuli had warned him the board members or the stakeholders should not learn about their agreement because they can pull out their investment and that will be a downfall for her.
* Bombwes'Mansion*
Ivana had already packed her belongings when Paul come to the hospital. She refused to talk to him. She was just disappointed in him how could he do that to her. Even if they don't have feelings for each other he could just have stayed beside her. To just emotionally support her. But what did he do he left her alone and went back to his old ways.
Ivana left him there standing like a statue. She decided that for her private grieving she will just stay alone in her home. Mish supported her idea and also decided to stay with her until their burial day or when Ivana becomes emotionally stable. Since Paul decided to back to the old days, he won't be present for her. He will just continue stressing her more.
"Ivana can you please wake up, wake up and take a bath at least, you have been sleeping the whole day," Mish said to her.
"If you continue sleeping like these you will have migraine you know, you need to be strong at least for yourself Ivana please."Okay how about this, wake up, let's go and buy your favorite food you know it will cheer you up".
"Just leave me alone Mish," Ivana said as she turned to look on the other side of the bed.
"Huh?,how can you say that Ivana, l won't leave you alone, l know you need someone to talk to and l will be available no matter how you will be or talk to me, say to me, your attitude and moods,"Mish said to her.
