CHAPTER 152:LOVE DOCTOR

"What do you mean you are going back to school?" Mike asked as he walked to the hoover thar was playing music and lowered it's volume. He wanted to listen to what Paul was saying without any disturbance.

"The thing is my mother wants me to pursue Film and Acting in Nigeria so that I take over the Luhyahood dream company when I come back." Paul said as he looked at Mike.

"How will you be able to take over a company that it's not yours. You know there is several scandals that surrounds that company" Mike said.

"I don't know mehn, but the thing is I can't disappoint my mother. I already agreed that I am going to study, and that's why I need you to go with me." Paul said.

"It will be difficult for me to leave with you Paul. I can't just follow you to Nigeria, I am not going to babysit you. What am I going to do in Nigeria, Paul?. Remember you are born in a rich family and again what your mother have now will be left in your name. Look at me I have nothing, nothing was left in my name" Mike said apologetically.

"Mike I understand,I know you are trying to build your own wealth through Agri-Enomics. I don't mean to destroy your future, how about you go back to class too?"

"I don't have passion for that course Paul neither do I have money to facilitate me. You know after my O level I didn't continue with school because of financial constraints Paul. So I won't go back to class" Mike said.

"Look here mehn, Nigeria is a new country to me. New environment and I can't go there alone, you know I can't deal with culture shock alone Mike."

"But Paul I can't just accompany you because of dealing with culture shock!"

"I know you are good at agriculture, Mike go and study extended agriculture in terms of Cassava and Yam production. I think I will gather for your Visa, accomodations and school fees" Paul said seriously surprising Mike.

Mike narrowed his eyes as he looked at Paul, he was confused of what Paul had just said. Paul was his childhood friend and they were lucky to study in one school. He was lucky to study in the same school as the rich kids, although he was under a schoolarship.

Studying in one school strengthen their bond despite the fact that they came from different background. One from rich family and the other from the poor family. Paul always looked after Mike as his you best brother. That's the reason why Mike never likes disappointing Paul. Also Paul always listenes to the advice from Mike whenever he goes astray.

"I will have to think about it Paul, going back to school after almost five years is no joke." Mike said as he tapped his figures on his forehead.

"How much time do you need Mike? I just want to be relieved off these stress" Paul asked worriedly as he tried maintaining eye contact with him.

"Two weeks is enough for me to find the solution to these dilemma" Mike said as he chuckled softly.

"Stop playing with my mind Mike, two weeks? Yet we are supposed to leave in two weeks time. I need to process a Visa and a passport for you." Paul told Mike who was at this time standing with his hands akimbo.

"You are a Wechuli mehn, nothing is hard for you to acquire in this country." Mike laughed at the end making Paul relax, knowing that Mike has already agreed even if he haven't said with his own mouth yet.

"But Paul, if you are going to Nigeria to study why can't you go with Ivana?. You are legally married and it will be convenient for you two. I don't know why I didn't remember that when you told me earlier?

"Mike you are my best friend...

"And Ivana is your wife." Mike said cutting him off.

"Wait Mike, listen to me didn't cut me off,Ivana is still angry at me and I know she won't agree to accompany me to Nigeria. Remember she is already a graduate" Paul said but Mike was not satisfied with that as he asked him again.

"Are you going to leave her here, alone, without an apology. What if she get married to someone else? Did she send you the divorce papers?"

"I have no choice Mike, the last time I had visited her she was still angry, I have been texting her love words but she doesn't reply. My calls doesn't go through so I guess she already blocked me" Paul narrated the details to him.

But the way Paul was talking about Ivana it clearly showed that he still loved and adored her. Even if he didn't confess with his own mouth it was evident in his tone.

"I think it will be good if you visit her before we leave the country. Let her know how much you love and adored her. If she haven't send you the divorce papers, she still have hopes of you getting together. She wants you to woo her and probably date or court her even if you are married."Mike explained in a romantic way surprising Paul who was gawking at him.

"Really now? I will keep on asking you the day you become a love doctor or a marriage couch. You don't even have a girlfriend Mike, but I will try my best and communicate to her." He said as he stood up ready to leave.

"Mike I should be on my way now I need to go to the company and talk to my employees. I don't want them being in dark, I want to make sure that everything is in place when I leave." 

"Make sure you visit Ivana too, just be concerned about her the  same way you are concerned about your workers" Mike said as he walked him to his car.

"Yes love doctor."
