CHAPTER 147:USE YOUR SISTER.
"Hello, I think you took the wrong papers, go back and check well" a voice come in Thomas phone.
Thomas is the driver that opted to remain when Mr Mukhongo decided to suck all the workers saying that he didn't need their service. And if they were ready to offer their services without payment now that he was providing for them a roof over their heads and food.
Thomas and his sister Brenda opted to remain because they were orphans and didn't have a place to call their home aside from the Mish's home.
Although Mr Mukhongo had said that he will reduce their salary again. They just agreed because they had no choice. What Mr Mukhongo and Mish did know was that they had a mission in that house. They were working for someone rich.
So there was some legal papers that Thomas was supposed to steal from Mr Mukhongo. Although he had succeeded in stealing them, it was unfortunate for him. The papers he had stolen were not the one his boss was in need.
"Boss what do you mean I took the wrong papers?" Thomas asked scared because it was not easy accessing those papers.
"Did you check when you were picking them?" Thomas was asked.
"No boss I didn't have time for that, you know accessing his room is not that easy. It takes time and some time he locks the door when he is not around" Thomas explained.
A this time he was talking while looking sideways everytime. You could think that he was preparing to steal something precious like a professional thief. That conversation was supposed to be confidential so he was to be careful.
"Do you want full payment?"a voice came again in the phone.
Thomas was a fool enough to nod his head.
"Do you want money?" He was asked again.
"Of.. ofcourse yes boss" he stumered.
"Then bring me the papers that I want I am giving you only two months."
"How boss, two months that's not possible as I said he always closed his door..."
Thomas didn't get to finish as his boss cut him off.
"Use your sister then"
"My sister?hello, hello?..."
Before he could be answered or understand the call ended. He continued standing there looking at the screen of his phone like someone who was expecting a call from the lover of his life.
Mish have been looking for Thomas allover the compound. She was almost giving up because her dad wanted to be driven somewhere. A place that her father didn't tell her.
So he tiptoed slowly and tapped at Thomas's shoulders.
"Eeeh!" Thomas exclaimed as he jumped in front almost wanting to run away.
"Hey Ma'am Mish you startled me" he said as he placed his left palm of the hand in his chest.
"I am sorry Thomas I didn't know you are a Coward like that" Mish said as chuckled softly. Anyway I am sorry I startled you intentionally."
"It's okay Ma'am,eeh ma'am Mish are you in need of my services I am hear and always ready like a kenyan flag."
Thomas said as he saluted Mish like a KDF soldier.Mish was amused with his behaviour as she smiled.
"You should try out comedy one day, I mean stand up comedy. You never know thomas you have the talent. Without wasting your time, my dad wants you to take him somewhere"
"Right away Mum" Thomas said as he marched away like a soldier on the parade leaving Mish in a laughter.

"I want you to ake me to Wechuli's apartment" Mr Mukhongo said as he sat in the car. He didn't even wait for Thomas to open the car door for him.
"Right away boss" Thomas said as he sat on the driver's seat. Without wasting time he drove out of the compound.
After three minutes of driving, Thomas's mobile phone started to ring. Unfortunately it was on the loud speaker something that his boss Mr Mukhongo hated so much.
"I told you that whenever you are at work you should switch off your mobile phone or probably put it on silent or vibration mode. You are a driver for God's sake, what if you causes an accident because of divided attention!" Mr Mukhongo lectured him nonstop. "Some of you poor people you are never grateful!" He hollored again.
"I am sorry boss but I know who is calling me. It's my wife boss so I am not going to pick the call. Rest assured that I will no cause the accident or have divided attention boss. My wife have been calling me from yesterday. She said that the money I send her was not enough boss, kindly will you add us or increase our salary a little bit?"That's said seriously.
All this statement Thomas was just playing with his mind. He already knows who was calling him, So to avoid of those issues where Mr Mukhongo demands for his phone to speak with whoever was calling him. He didn't want to be caught when he haven't accomplished the mission he was there for.
"Thomas, I told you and I will repeat again. I won't add you any salary. I will continue decreasing your salary every month until the day you will get tired and leave my house. I already told you that I don't need your services, but now that you decided to listen to my daughter and remain. I will exploit the services offered." Mr Mukhongo said as he smirked smugly an evil smile that Thomas have never seen since he started to work for him.
'I knew you will behave like a tycoon, a tycoon who depends and sponges on other people or his brothers wealth for survival. I cant wait for your downfall old hag' Thomas thought as he monuvured throught the building up traffic jam.
"If the salary is not enough, how about you combine your salary and your sister's salary? That will be more than enough or simply leave my house"he said as he smiled again.
'How arrogant?' Thomas thought as he looked at him through the rear mirror.
