She asks in between their conversation. This time they didn't even spare him a look. "No, but I do check when I can't found who the person is. I am sorry but can you tell me who you are?" the dance

"Since they both are dancing why don't we join?" asked Rehan to Tammana who was looking at Meera with bright eyes.

"Why would i dance with you?" she replied haughtily folding her hands in front of her chest.

"Your wish, but soon the song is going to end. And it is the last song of tonight." he replied with a shrug taking his hand back.

Tammana bit her lips as she looked at the man taking his hands back, "wait" she stopped him from going back.

"Since you asked me with sincerity, I will accept your offer." she replied haughtily, raising her chin in the air.

"Yeah, right." he nodded with a smirk as she took his hand and held it.

In the large magnificent ballroom, where chandeliers were dangling from the ceiling, spreading its light from one corner to the other. It was looking like a starry night sky.

This masquerade ball was a display of wealth and prosperity, from the crystal champagne glasses to the decoration of the walls. And in the centre was the dance floor shining like millions of stars have covered the place.

Tammana walked towards it, hand in hand with Rehan. She was excited, finally to have danced to the human music, as it would be the first and last time that she would be here.

He looked around the dazzling light with a bright smile, giving tough competition to the starry sky lights.

Rehan was once again mesmerized by her smile, he so desperately wanted to see her face. If Meera was that beautiful, he was sure Tammana would be better.

He took one of her hands and smoothly placed it on his lower back and held the other one in his hand.he then slipped his arm behind her and pulled her close to him, leaving very less gap between their bodies.

Tammana eyed him, but didn't say anything, but silently followed his lead.

She was glad that humans dance the same way as they do. She never would have thought that she would dance on a night like this and that also with a human like him.

She was feeling just like Cinderella whose story is famous in their area. As she had to run from here too when the clock strikes 12. Her heart was beating so loudly but strangely she didn't feel tense.

She was dancing with him so smoothly, just following his lead. She must admit he was good at it. The way he touched her, the way he led her, the timing of his every movement were all perfectly in time with the music.

He was extremely graceful that even she could tell that his movements could only be from constant training from a young age. She was sure that it could also be from the constant attendance with people of higher backgrounds at events like this.

He was noticeably graceful in his movements and adding to it a slight hint of arrogance that probably was drilled from birth, she was sure she had noticed the eyes of every woman around then settled on him.

Now that she was close to him, Tammana finally had the chance to study his face.

His nose, his lips, his jaws and every contour of his face was just perfect. Even though he was wearing a mask, just like her. She could still see his dark brown eyes through them and they were simply spell binding.

For a moment she even felt that he was no less than a fae prince in the matter of looks. If only he had been a fae.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Rehan finally spoke, startling her from her reverie.

"I didn't expect you could dance so well." she accepted and he gave her a small enchanting smile, fleshing a set of perfect, ultra white teeth.

"Thank you, Miss tamanna. But you still havent told me anything about you." he asked, half joking half serious.

He was curious about her, sure she was beautiful, graceful and enchanting but he was sure he had not seen her ever before. But she didn't look like a commoner. She was haughty like a rich brat of a noble family.

She eyed his curiosity and smiled, "I am an only child and live with my parents." she replied, humoring his question.

"Are you a student?" he asked, since she didn't mention her family name. The best way to know about her is through her college or university.

"No, I have already completed my education." she replied, shaking her head.

And that was the truth. She had completed her training to control her powers. Now she was working for the lord. She would be one of the strongest fairy in upcoming days.
