9 09 - Lots of Viewers!

Livestream is more difficult than I imagined. I don't say not so much because it's harder to play while talking to the audience, but rather that it's really hard to keep talking when you know there's no one to hear what you're saying.

Always talking about game stuff, or about other related stuff and no one answering makes it very lonely.

But I didn't worry about that, so as not to keep looking at the number of viewers all the time and see the number 0 there, I opened the livestream program and activated the option that hides how many people are watching, so I would be more motivated to talk imagining that there could be someone there to hear me talk.

I was still in my first game and had gotten 12 kills, which was a pretty good number.

"I saw a dude on top of that tower." I said as I started to build a ladder in the direction the tower was.

As I had S-Eyes activated, I could practically see everything around me in slow motion, so the construction that was once extremely difficult for me, now became much easier.

I still wasn't at the level of the pro players in terms of building speed as I didn't have practice at it yet, but after a few days of training I could catch up to their speed, and maybe even surpass their speed.

But what I lacked in build speed, I made up for in shooting accuracy.

And considering I was a bad player, my opponents weren't very good players either, so I was getting kills faster and faster.

As the game progressed I kept talking about the things I saw and what I intended to do as I played until I finally killed the last player and won the game.

"I still have to improve my build speed, but it was a fun game." I said while deactivating the S-Eyes to recover the Mana spent in that time.

I still didn't know if anyone was watching the livestream, but I didn't worry about it and kept talking to myself thinking like I was recording a video for youtube.

But when I looked at the chat, something surprised me.

LBlu: [That last shot you used to kill me was very beautiful, GG.]

A chat message! Seeing the nick of the player who sent the message I got a little excited, as it was the nick of the player I killed last to win the game.

"GG bro, you played well too." I replied politely while smiling.

At least changing my game nickname to the same one I used on the livestream site served to attract at least one person.

Even though I spent some Mana during this game, I was worried about losing this viewer so I decided to start another game while talking to LBlu.

When I started talking to him, he also answered me. During the next game, as I knew someone was watching, I got even more excited and managed to kill a total of 17 players!

LBlu was all the time in the chat talking to me and mainly asking about the things I was doing, about how I trained, since he also wanted to improve, which I answered with great pleasure.

Of course, I didn't say that I was using the S-Eyes, but actually I did say about some trainings I've seen on youtube and used in the past that really helped me a lot to improve, while I was explaining about my aiming process and this things.

After the second game was over, someone else also started chatting and chatting with us, which made me even more excited.

But as I had played two games in a row, the amount of Mana I spent was very high even though each game only lasted 10 minutes, so I had to stop for a while to recover my Mana for the tournaments I was going to participate in.

When LBlu and the other viewer saw that I wasn't in line to play, they asked me why and I said that I was doing it to rest for the tournament that would happen in a few minutes, and as I didn't know how long it would take For starters, I just decided to wait a while while talking to them and training my build speed in sandbox mode with S-Eyes off.

Without S-Eyes my build speed was much lower, but I knew that if I trained without S-Eyes, when I activated this the improvement would be even greater, just like some characters train using body weights, or with gravity increased, when they return to normal their strength and speed increases a lot!

Fortunately, LBlu and the other viewer didn't leave the chat and continued talking to me until the tournament started.

The tournament consisted of 4 rounds, where 2 rounds players could build and the other 2 rounds players could not build.

During the first round of the tournament, I changed the livestream title to make it clear that I was a player who was in a tournament, as it might attract some audience, and I started playing.

In the first round players could build, and I've already noticed a slight improvement in my build speed after training for a few minutes in sandbox mode.

But even in this round I could build, I only built what was necessary and resolved most confrontations with my aim.

During the first round more people showed up in the livestream chat, which motivated me even more, making me finish the first round with 19 Kills and in first place.

Not only did that leave me in first place in the game, it also took me to first place in the championship by a long way to second place.

A lot of people in the chat were players I killed during the first round. Some were angry and accused me of hacking, while others were just surprised at my aim and came to text GG.

For the people who were calling me a hack, I just ignored it and kept playing while explaining my thought process and what I was planning during the game, and at the end of the round most of the people who accused me of hacking stopped texting. .

Seeing that I had a logical process and that every now and then I also missed a few shots, they could only accept that I was killing a lot because of my good skill.

After they changed their minds about me, these other players also started chatting and interacting with me and the other viewers, which was really good for me.

From what I've counted, at least 15 different people have already messaged the chat, although 5 people only messaged and never messaged again, I was glad there were at least 10 people willing to watch me.

Round two of the tournament was no build, which made it even clearer how good my shooting skill was with S-Eyes activated, which at the end of the round drew even more people into the livestream chat.

Now there were some people who weren't even in the tournament and who came to the chat to watch and see how this tournament was, but who stayed after seeing how much I was killing.

At the end of the third round I was already in first place in the tournament with such a high score that it was impossible for me to lose the tournament, so to generate content I decided to do a challenge that I found interesting, during the last round I would not reload the weapon , if the ammo in that clip ran out I would have to drop the weapon on the ground and look for a new one.

When the viewers heard this they got really excited and started laughing in the chat, while when the viewers who were also in the tournament heard this they were excited to know that their chance to win at least one round was here.

During the other two rounds the players who were in the tournament were playing while looking at my screen. A lot of people complain that this is unfair, but I didn't care, as I managed to kill everyone who tried to kill me using this advantage.

But now that I had a handicap, it made players hopeful, while viewers were excited to see if I could win with that handicap.

At the beginning of the round it wasn't that difficult, which started to attract more people to chat while I was playing, but when the round was ending and few people were left, I realized that these were the players who were watching the livestream.

These players were shooting at me from afar as they ran away.

"You're trying to slow me down and make me throw my weapons away on purpose, right?" I asked while laughing.

Soon these players texted in the live chat laughing and I knew it was true, so at this point I just started running like a maniac towards these players.

Without anyone turning to shoot me I would use the S-Eyes to calculate where the player's weapon was pointing and dodge to the other side.

Of course, this wasn't 100% accurate, which caused me to take some damage, but I managed to dodge a lot of shots as I ran towards them.

Because of the S-Eyes I was able to shoot while running and still hit the shots, so while I dodged some of these players' shots, they didn't dodge mine and took more damage than I did.

The effect of me dodging the shots caused even more people to join the livestream chat asking what was going on.

Even in such an intense battle, because of S-Eyes I still had time to read the chat while playing, so even though I was doing so many things, I was still talking to the new audience and explaining things.

What I didn't explain, the other members of the chat explained to the person who just arrived.

Unfortunately my challenge was very difficult, the players abused the limitation I put on myself and came together to kill me in the end, leaving me in third place in the last round.

Of course, I still killed 14 people in this round even with the challenge, which further cemented my first place in the tournament and secured me my $100 prize!

When viewers saw that I lost, instead of being disappointed or frustrated as I imagined they would be, what really happened was that they started to celebrate.

Most were joking saying that they finally saw me lose, others said that even with the power to dodge bullets I couldn't win, others just started laughing.

But even as these people celebrated my defeat, I saw that they weren't doing it out of malice, but rather like when one friend mocks another for getting screwed over, which made me smile and pretend I was outraged by their reaction.

LBlu: [As a consolation prize for losing this round I'll give you my sub.]

Soon I got a notification that a user named LBlu became a livestream subscriber, which made me crack a big smile as I was the first money I made with livestram.

But to my surprise, after this message I received a bunch of messages from other viewers who also paid to become a livestream subscriber!

A total of 20 people became subscribers after LBlu did this, which I was a little shocked.

I really wanted to enable the option to know how many people were watching the livestream, but I gave up, I still had another tournament to play today, so I decided that I would only see the amount of viewers after the tournament was over.
