Chapter 56 – Incubus

Karmen found herself standing on a vast, grassy field with no other person other than herself present.

She peered ahead as the wind blew over her face, the breeze swaying her long blonde hair to and fro her face.

Karmen stood in one place, leaving the wind to caress the soft skin of her body exposed through the cream-coloured nightgown she was wearing.

She placed a hand between her thighs, clutching her gown in them and with her other hand, she moved the hair over her face.

Karmen looked around with a confused face. She was unfamiliar with her location.

She had never seen it before.

She had also never been there.

Her eyes moved to the sides, in front, back, down and up but she was still the only person on this green field.

"Hello!" she shouted while also anticipating a response.

However, the only reply that came to her ears was the echo of her own voice.
