Nevertheless he knew he couldn't just let her marry an average mortal, Though he hated to admit it, as his daughter she also had some responsibilities she couldn't escape from.

As the only daughter of the family, She was tasked with securing an acceptable mate who would join the family and become the next Alpha, For as long as their family had lived this was the tradition, Non of the past generations had failed and neither would his daughter he thought.

Her father couldn't bare to give the title of Alpha to another household within their pack.

He decided that if the ritual had been a waste of time then he might as well kill this so called man of her's to get ride of the evidence and have her keep searching, but if the ritual turned out to be a success, Then he wouldn't mind welcoming her newfound mate with open arm's.

The butler was sent to ascertain whether the ritual was a success or a failure.

Under the Stuarts piercing gaze, Emily gnashed her teeth, Her teeth had long changed to fangs due to her evident displeasure.

" There's no need for you to remain here any longer, You may leave now, Go back and tell your Alpha that the ritual was a success..." She replied in a harsh tone yet the butler wasn't at all affected by her, he instead gave a deep sigh.

Not to mention that the current Lu Xin looked nothing like your average shifter, he found it hard to believe the young miss's words.

The current Lu Xin could be said to possess the same appearance from before except that his eye's were now a deep shade of red, if not for the fact that Sebastian didn't notice any bloody scent on him he would've thought that the young man before him was an actual vampire.

Besides his newfound scarlet eye's, Lu Xin who was already handsome to begin with didn't look any different.

Normally when looking at a shifter you would be able to notice their sturdy physique but since Lu Xin was already sturdy not to mention chiseled to begin with it was even more harder to notice any changes.

" My lady please don't be upset with your father, His only doing all of this for your sake" He still retained his light smile, his firm gaze remained fixed on Lu Xin, Emily snorted at the man's word's, not bothering to take it to heart at all.

Lu Xin who was the target of stuarts unfriendly gaze gulped down some saliva with trepidation.

Emily who saw his pale face intertwined her left hand with his, He didn't know why but he felt a sense of warmth from her soft touch which helped in calming him down a bit.

Only after a while of scrutinizing Lu Xin carefully with his gaze did the Stuart stop.

Though it looked like he was only staring, The suited man was actually trying to sense a certain aura from Lu Xin.

The moment he entered the room he noticed the familiar sent he would get from one of his kin but he didn't take it into account due to the young miss's presence within the room.

It was only after patiently sensing did he feel a familiar aura from the young man who lay'd atop the hospital bed Infront of him, Though it was hard to notice without careful scrutiny he was able to tell that it was still there.

 The moment he discovered it, he clasped his hands Infront of him before giving a respectful bow.

" Congratulations on acquiring a new mate young miss " he smiled courteously, his eye's were now shimmering with joy as he stared at Lu Xin.

Lu Xin clicked his tongue in displeasure due to the way Sebastian had addressed him, He felt insulted of having been called a name similar to that of an animal yet he tried his best to remain calm as always, He reminded himself that getting angry now would only do him more harm than good.

Sebastian who still had an incredulous look on his face as he stared at Lu Xin suddenly noticed the young miss's impatient gaze on him, That simple look of hers was all he needed to know that she didn't want him to remain here a moment longer.

His gaze lingered on Lu Xin for a short while before he let out a reluctant sigh.

" I hope you enjoy your time as a Shifter young master" Sebastian said in a welcoming tone before taking his leave right after.

The moment the door closed behind him, Lu Xin let out a breath of relief, With Sebastian now gone he felt as if a heavy load had been lifted off his shoulders.
