Chapter 27, Drastic change!

" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! " Lu Xin gave a shrill cry that echoed outwards within the surroundings, never before had he felt such excruciating pain before!, 

At first the pain was similar to an explosion at first but the following aftereffects were no different from the searing flames of one that ragged on continuously within him.

Like the ever growing flame's they were he felt the pains soaring even more and more at an unprecedented rate!!, even getting kicked in the balls wasn't as painful as this!!!.

With the surge of the pain Lu Xin felt his consciousness quickly slipping away, he felt his brain slowly shutting down from the huge influx of pain but even then something unimaginable happened.

Even with his consciousness now completely gone, his body against all odds quickly stood upright on his feet, his flesh gave off steam as if it was being corroded yet it didn't seem to degrade at all instead healing simultaneously like a never ending reaction, burning and healing!!!.

" It's working!!" Emily who was watching from the sidelines quickly cheered seeing this, her icy face beaming with happiness, Without hesitation she started making her way towards Lu Xin who strangely stood in place, not uttering a word as his flesh burned and regrew.

Sasha who was also watching felt that something wasn't right?, wasn't he screaming his lungs out earlier?, so why keep quiet all of a sudden?.

The more she watched him the more an ominous feeling grew within her.

" Emily get out of there!!!!" When Emily was almost right Infront of him, she quickly yelled with urgency in a timely manner as she rushed forth at an incredible speed faster than any human in order to stop Emily from going any further but, As if in line with her thoughts.

Lu Xin who stood standing quietly suddenly roared louder than ever like a maddened animal who had gone rabid from pain.

Caww!!

Caww!!!

The sound of flapping wings and falling leaves and branches were heard within the forest as several birds flew away in fright, All of them were frightened from Lu Xin's abrupt shrill cry.

The sounds of there flapping wings and falling branches and leaves made the moment sound even more ominous.

 Sasha had already yelled towards Emily who also noticed the sudden abnormality in Lu Xin but she and Sasha were slower to react.

Lu Xin who was naturally closer towards her was able to reach her instantly before anyone of them could respond quickly enough.

Emily who was the closest one to him was left stunned as she stared at the silhouette that swiftly enlarged before her vision.

Unlike before, His once mesmerizing eyes that reflected the starry brilliance of the night sky was now long gone and in their places were two glowing crimson red eyes that looked no different than two spherical balls of fresh blood that burned brightly with a tinge of ferociousness.

" Rarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!" Lu Xin roared like a maddened beast as he flashed forth.

' Dammit!!, I won't be able to make it in time ' Sasha thought with her hand outstretched towards Emily who was only a few meters before her, a look of despair and frustration on her face.

She herself know that no matter how fast she was, she just wouldn't be able to close that gap in time.

" Get out of there Emily!!!!!" She screamed helplessly once more, though she knew the woman before her was one to be reckoned with, The meer aura being emitted by the seemingly maddened man before them was one she herself wasn't sure of beating given the situation.

On hearing her companions words, Emily who was already stunned by the abrupt change in the once dying man before her quickly reacted, above all biological understanding, her two hands instantly morphed into two silver furred monster like hands which she quickly crossed before her chest to block against Lu Xin.

BAMM!!!!!!! 

Lu Xin who looked no different than a maddened beast punched at her ruthlessly with his clenched fist, the stunning power behind that swift punch sent the partially prepared Emily quickly skidding backwards like a car who was rammed backwards, her two slender feet ploughing the earth underneath her feet.

" So Strong?!!!" Emily thought feeling utterly stunned.

" Rarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! " Like one who wasn't satisfied in the slightest, The maddened Lu Xin roared loudly towards the starry sky.

Emily quickly took this as a chance to escape to Sasha's side.

Emily's eyes were suffused with shook an confusion from the brief clash just now, She quickly turned towards Sasha seeking answers.

" Just what's going on, is the ritual a success or not Sasha?!! " Emily asked the black haired woman who was known as Sasha but the latter responded with a totally stunned look as well.

" How am I supposed to know, the only time that darned ritual had worked was only once after several thousands of tries several hundreds of years ago and that was only written in the history books, till now I thought it was just a myth "

" Well that myth has now come true, don't tell me you don't know of any ways to get him back to normal?" Emily asked hastily.

" If I knew do you think I'd hide it right now?!!!" 

" So what your saying is that we don't know how to calm him down? " Emily's expression soon turned worried with a hint of sadness mixed within.

" Sadly yes?.... " Sasha forced a stiff smile.
