AFTER CERES DIED I

Hearing her question, Xhylan or now called Jackson, looked up into the sky, trying his best to calm himself as memories started flooding his mind.

"This can't be," Xhylan took several steps back when he saw the news online. The woman that he vowed to protect – his best friend, a sister to him – was gone. He couldn't even imagine the pain that she went through which caused her to jump from the tallest building in the city. 

Her figure was unrecognizable. Blood splattered everywhere including her flesh and limbs which got severed from the impact of her body to the ground. She was like a fragile glass that fell on the floor. He couldn't wrap his head around her death. It was unacceptable. 

"Is this what she meant by getting out of the organization?" asked the city mayor who was also the leader of the Raptors. "I thought she wanted to live somewhere else. I thought she wanted to have a better life?"
