No Magic

A woman could be seen sitting on a bed with a baby in her arms. There was also a man standing by the side of the bed. She looked tired and had dark circles under her eyes with a weak smile on her face. She was very beautiful and had flowing white hair with blue eyes, the man was quite handsome with short jet black hair and brown eyes while the baby had red hair and crimson red eyes but his most distinctive feature was the large red dragon mark on his wrist. This baby was none other than Azagorn while the man and woman were his parents.

"Who are these people", he thought and attempted to get out of the woman's embrace, but no matter what he did, he could not break free. So he attempted to fly away, nothing happened, he realized he could not feel his wings, he looked at himself to the best of his abilities. He realized he was a human baby.

"That bitch, she reincarnated me as a puny weak human, how am I supposed to get my revenge like this", he said out loud, although it sounded more like the random babblings of a baby.

As he was thinking about this, he felt something sweet enter his mouth. "What is this substance", and slowly he started to feel drowsy. He tried to fight it but he eventually fell asleep.

He woke up hours later and found himself in a house which he assumed was owned by his new parents after thinking it through.

His parents decided to name him Crimson because of his red eyes and his red hair. He hated the name Crimson and would always cry in protest whenever he was called Crimson but slowly he grew into it mostly because nobody did anything about it whenever he cried anymore.

After spending a few months in his human body, he had learned more about the humans than he would have liked to. He was forced to do this because he could not keep calling his parents "male human and female human", because he realized that it was a dumb description as any other person in the city would fit in those descriptions.

He found out his father's name was Vincent Blade and his mother's name was Scarlett Blade and they were mages. He also figured out that they held important positions in their city due to their status as because people always flocked around their house bearing gifts and making requests.

Although he would never admit it, he was amazed by how human beings were able to perform such minute movements like eating or walking with precision and accuracy, but he eventually learnt to do the same.

The streaks of red in his hair continued to increase as he grew older and by the time he was six years old, his hair was completely red. The people living in the city began to get scared because of the mysterious change in hair color. They labelled Azagorn an aberration and would hurl curses at him whenever they saw him around.

Azagorn was not bothered about this at all. Instead he decided to ask his parents to take him to the capital of Aria Empire where their city known as Savania was located. At the capital, children were tested for magic potential and magic affinity only if they possessed magic potential.

At the capital, his parents took him to an old building to take the magic potential test. Inside the building, an elderly man told him to place his hands on a crystal ball. If it lit up, then he had magic potential. The longer it took to light up, the less magic potential possessed by the child. He placed his hands on the crystal ball confidently expecting it to light up immediately.

He waited and waited for it to light up but it never did, after a while the old man said, "Sorry kid you have no magic potential".
