I Must Evolve
"Hello boys, it's 12 mid-night" Lily said with a smile as she stared at the three boys
Demion then looked at her and turned around to see 5 more people dressed in black
'oh shit, we're so dead' he stood up with his sword in his hands, Bram and he's brother then stood up holding their weapons tightly but their legs were shaking like crazy
'What!, They are the strongest here and they are the ones shaking?' Demion was confused as to why Bram and Blake were nervous
Demion decided to be careful and did not make any move, he still had a little hope that violence wasn't necessary but then one of the person dressed in black made a move. The person moved so fast towards Bram with his sword and tried cutting Bram in half, Bram was completely caught off guard and by the time he noticed the black dressed figure he was already so closed to him but Blake saw through his attack and came to his brothers aid as he cleanly sliced off the figures head
'He saw that attack, that guy moved so fast how did he see his attack' demion was shocked as to how Blake reacted do fast
"I told that idiot times without number never to approach an enemy blindly even if they are weak" Lily said face palming her self in disappointment
"Even if he hadn't rushed in, he would have still fallen" Bram said
"Well I guess you're right after all he's the weakest of us all" Lily said
'That guy is the weakest!, the speed he used to approach Bram was faster than 2 times my top speed' demion said panicking inwardly 'If he is the weakest then I don't even stand a chance'
"Alright brother we can't keep standing here forever, we need to end them now" Bram said
"You're right, this is what we have been preparing for and I can already feel my demon energy coming back" Blake said getting ready to strike. When a demon slayer battle a demon, they take certain precautions and try their best reduce as many demon energy as they can from the demon, that's why Lily threw that round object that release a shock wave at the center of demion and the twins, the shock wave had reduced their demon energy and due to demion being an Inferior version of a demon, it reduced his health stat and demon energy

'That shock wave reduced my demon energy to half its original but I can feel my self regaining the lost energy ' demion said to himself
"My energy is back, let's destroy them brother" Bram said as he sprint into one of the demon slayers direction, seeing them make a move forced the demon slayers to attack. Bram tried stabbing a slayer with his knife but his hands were caught by another slayer, he tried punching with the other hand but was kicked in the gut and was sent flying but Blake caught him from behind
"If we want to win this we have to stay together" Blake said "Now let's go together" Blake then dashed forward towards one of the slayers with Bram following from behind, he attempted slashing the slayer but another slayer tried catching his hands and Bram came in throwing his knife which then multiplied into 40-50 more knifes, the slayer hand to protect himself with his forearm and althought he was still struck with the knife but the knife couldn't penetrate the cloth he wore, Bram saw this and added some demon energy in the knifes and then the knifes started penetrating
"Yes, its working"
The other slayer blocked Blake's blade with his forearm in an X form and due to the uniqueness of the cloth, the blade couldn't penetrate, demion tried using his other blade to stab the slayers head but another slayer came in and kicked him right in the ribs. Bram kept on penetrating the slayers cloth but another slayer flew in and kicked Bram right in the head which stopped the supply of demon energy
"Hey demion, if you really want to survive why don't you do something rather than standing at a spot!" Bram said in annoyance to demion that has been frozen on a spot watching the whole scene
"Well I believe standing here is the best thing to do in order to survive cause none of the slayers has attacked me" demion said
"Argh!" Bram was frustrated as he punched one of the slayers heading towards him with all his might which sent the slayer flying a good distance away and immediately unconscious
Blake was fighting two slayers at once, he kept going on defence as his two opponents were violent offencers. They kept pushing him back and then one of the two decided to finish him off as he slashed with full force, Blake saw this and decided to utilize this opportunity as he used his left sword to block the incoming attack and saw the opening, he used his left sword to push the figure back in order to create room for his attack
"Yes, just were I want" Blake said with smile
*Demon Slash*
*BooM*
An impact was made as the slayer was sent flying
"Huh"
"..."
"You decided to make a move" Blake said to Demion
"I just thought you would need some help" demion said with his sword in his hand
"Well I don't, you should've helped my brother, he needs it more than me and you decided to help at the wrong time" Blake said
"What do you mean"
"My power is stronger than yours including my brother, everyone here is stronger than you. Your attacks can't kill anyone not even that slayer" Blake said "Even at its peak, what your power could do was just knock him out"
"What!?" Demion said surprised, the only reason demion has been standing is because be was looking for any opportunity to kill and slayer in order to level up and evolve
"But at least you can follow me to battle this last one" Blake said as he pointed at the slayer in front of them, the slayer saw this and wasted no time and dashed forward towards demion with his but was interrupted by Blake who kicked the slayer away
"Did…did you just save me" demion was surprised
"Of course, I would hate to eat a dead meal" Blake said as he ran after the flying slayer
'This demons won't forget about eating me' demion said inwardly then gazed at the unconscious slayer 'in that case, u just have to be stronger and stop being a demi-demon' Demion said as he dashed towards the unconscious slayer
Lily has been watching the fight quietly as she stood on the same spot but when she saw demjon heading to the unconscious slayer ready to kill him she wondered "what is he doing"
Demion raised his sword and slashed downwards
*Kiiiiiiiiiii*
The sound of two metals could be held heard and demion could be seen holding a broken sword
"Huh?!" Demion was shocked as he stared at his sword but then looked at who had caused this and he saw Lily with her long DS blade
"What are you trying to do" Lily said not looking happy
"Huh" demion was still trying to process what happen
"You attack an unconscious opponent, aren't you ashamed" Lily said
"Where you not just over there" demion said wondering how she got here so fast
(Of cause she would get here fast, she's the only demon slayer here, all the other dudes you've been fighting are just goons, she's the main threat and only real slayer here)
'What!?, For real'
"Is this how you intend to take care of my sister by being a chip fighter" Lily said getting angry as her aura became suffocating and demion fell to his knees because of the lack of air
"I actually plan on sparring you and even my boss said to bring you alive but…" Lily said as she raised her sword in the air " with such hatred, display of cowwardness and character of a demon, you've shown me that you don't disserve to live" Lily said as she slashed her sword downwards
"100,000 volts"
Then a bolt of lightning struck Lily which sent her back a little creating some distance and making her lose her striking accuracy
"Huh….Sky" demion looked in another direction and saw Sky
"Are you okay" Sky ran towards demion and helped him up
"How did you know I was here, did you follow me?" Demion asked
"No just that the time you left the room, the speed was so fast that I thought you had been kidnapped" Sky said
"For real?"
"Yeah I had to take permission from the M.A although they took so long to attend to me, they did anyways"
"Why did they delay, I thought you are from one of the Family X " demion wondered
"Well I am but it appears the military where taking care of something super important, if not for my family's reputation I won't be here"
"Well good timing" demion said as he turned over to the unconscious slayer " Keep Lily busy, I have something to do"
"But why did Lily kidnapp you?" Sky asked
"She didn't, I'll explain later" Demion said as he dashed to the slayer and used the other half of the sword
"Control your self demion, you are not like them" Lily was still trying to talk to demion to see if he would resist a demon's temptation of killing
" I'm afraid I am" demion said as he used the other half of his sword and cut the goon's neck with all his might

Hey guys this is the second update for two day, I had to make it has long as possible for you guys by creating my longest chapter ever with over 1,700 words.
More chapters are still on their way but unfortunately not now
