Immortal Pigeon
It started off real nice, but as time went on it became more and more frustrating to continue reading. How can a person be so submissive and have such idiotic way of thinking?! I understand the premise of him being dependent on his master for both protection and system points, but the way let's both his master and all the others treat him makes me want to puke. Even his own disciple treats him like shit!!! Overall it started off nice(the first 20 chapters), the it went downhill real fast!!! definitely don't recommend it!
33 chapter review~ So, basically a simping novel, the mc gets accepted as a direct disciple and needs to be filial to his master to get DP (Devotion Points), with that he can buy a lot of things. Well, mc isn't retarded like the other mcs and buys skills to further improve his devotion to his master to earn even more DP. Well, maybe some will be confused because they skim through but of 33 chapters only 3 days passed by so don't get confused. Also, the mc is quite strong even though he is a mortal (Due a factor but you will know it if you're going to read this novel) There are several things mentioned from the background but I can't really remember it. They did explain the power levels and all the general info about sects and such, also the world is plagued by wraiths who are the bane of cultivators and they need to find a way to deal with them apparantly. Romance? Probably and most likely his master, more love interest? There is one but I'm not sure, if some seniors know if this novel is going to a harem do tell me... Pls. Translation Quality: 5* (Smooth like baby hands in my fridge) SoU: 5* (Trial Read) Story Development: 4* (At this point it's just devotion to his master and the wraith part) Character design: 4* (Solid personalities) World Background: 3.5* (I know it can't be 3.5* but meh, it's not 3 but also not 4) Total score: 4.2 Personal Rating: 4.5
We have a main character with a decent personality, an adorable female lead, and minor characters that have their own character developments. There are no annoying characters that simply live to advance the plot or provoke the MC. The fact that the MC is not blindly arrogant or petty is also a plus. It is set in a cultivation world, and has a heartwarming and leisure vibe. He's living with his lazy master and pampering her in various ways to earn currency for his cheat, stunning her and other characters with his max level skills derived from the system. The characters have their own unique personalities so their interactions are satisfying to read. It's brilliant and enjoyable.
Not making a big review this time but I really like this book. Characters are alright, the Mc suits my taste and the others are amusing or fine in my opinion. Unique setting too as itβs apparently the dao-ending period where cultivation is going down as the worldβs spirit qi is weakening. Kinda slice of life, action is fine I guess but I mainly get a comfy and relaxed feeling reading this. All in all solid book that I recommend to you all. I really didnβt like last weekβs trial read but if the other new books are like this one then it seems we have a good selection this time. Cheers everyone, thank you for reading my review.
Started out strong and then dropped off like a continental shelf. Essentially a simping novel where the MC gets treated like shit the entire time. This might be a good novel for those of you with inner masochistic tendencies. Pacing is horrible, translator cant even get the genders right (shitty as usual), and MC is unappealing. Trash novel. βNuff said.
Readers of Chinese novels commonly project themselves as the protagonist in the novel. So what does it say about the people who like this novel when the protagonist is basically a slave? He has no will of his own, but that of his mistress. He will stand tall when criticised by the masses, but when his mistress is displeased (small frown even) he will begin crying, desperately seeking to appease her. He cares naught for respect, dignity or selfworth - his world revolves around his star, his sun, his mistress. If she can smile at him once a day, he can forsake anything with a smile one his face. What's worse is that the system exists to make sure that the MC stays a slave - now, and forever. This novel is just ridiculous.
Really interesting novel Description and I hope same goes for the novelπππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Idk why people are shitting on the novel. It's decent; the MC may be a tad lacking in machismo manner, but the whole premise is him getting rewarded by pampering his alcoholic master. He isn't being hurt, nor degraded, so I wouldn't tag the MC as a masochist. It's decent, and I'd like to see it pass.

I saw a few reviews where the reviewers say that author didn't get the genders right. That's not true at all. Author actually nailed the genders all the time(I don't know why do you need to make such a big fuss even if he accidentally made a typo once or twice). Also MC is not a simp or a slave. I don't even know where did that come from? MC only acts subservient towards his master due to the system, but he's not a simp at all. I made this review in order to balance the ratings.
