Chapter 4 What is an Ability Level???

When abilities first came public to the human race, many people already new that there was going be powers that are stronger than others.

The people then figured a way out to separate the different power levels.They though of a way to use numbers.Power levels from 0 to 1999 are considered to be power level one. Level 5 power users were 5000 to 5999 and so on so fourth. this system goes all the way up to power level 8.

There are specifically two ways to get an ability.When the Brols showed there superiority in combat the people that had ability's wrote down everything to how they learned it in mystical books called ability books.

Books level 1 to level 4 are sold to the public, while levels 5 though 8 are sold to the military and high ranking families.

Some families didn't want to release there ability's at all keeping them to themselves. These families gained a lot of power from doing so.

The military never even once though of taking on any of the family's for multiple reasons.One of the man reasons behind this is that the ability's are unknown to them, and they don't want to fight and lose a lot of resources when they can just get on the good side of the family.

From the prices of ability books being so high Scott could never afford a ability book,and since he wasn't apart of one of the big shot families he was stuck at a power level of 1.

When Scott reserved the book his first idea was that it was in fact an ability book.Living all his life without an ability caused him to be harassed for most of his life causing him to be a loner.Over the last 3 months know he has a mysterious ability he new nothing about.

Scott had no idea what his ability level would be now that he had an ability.

Scott then looked down at his watch and there was a 1 indicating his power level.He then began to look at everyone's power levels and they all had the same number 1.

Jeff then walked to the front of all the groups and started to put people in groups of five.

Once the five students were called they gathered together and then a purple light glowed around them and they were transported to the testing zone.Scott was super exited that he would finally get to try an increase his level.

Scott didn't even know how good having 10 points in each stat was,but he was hoping it would at least be good enough to get a higher power level.His body felt incredible good.He didn't really check what his body could do know that he was thinking about it.

"Hey how are" a stranger said to Scott

This strangers name was Tony, he had straight blonde hair and bright blue eyes.He stood at 6 foot 2 inches while Scott know stood at 6 foot 1 inch was really strange because Scott remembers that he was 5 foot 10 inches last time he checked.

"How are you filling about taking the power test" Tony said.

"I'm a little nervous,I've never been good at taking test" Scout said trying to ignore the fact that he grew 3 inches over one night.

Tony then began to look at Scott from his shoes to his hair. Scott was tall but skinny for someone his age.Scott also didn't have many muscles either,he looked like some one that would be taken advantage of in high school do to him being weak leading him to probably be nervous at the academy.

"Hey if any one threatens to hurt, come talk to me I like to think am pretty strong so i'll take care of it"Tony said in a non cocky manner.

"My names Tony Turner whats yours" as he stuck his hand out for a handshake.

Scott took his hand thinking to himself that this is one of the nicest high level students he has ever met which kind of mad him happy.

"My name is Scott" as he continued to shake Tony's hand.

Once these messages popped up Scott read them with a strange look on his face.Then Scott look at Tony and he had an awestruck face on.

Scott then let go of Tony's hand in a non dick headed way.

Tony then asked "What is your ability?"

Scott then had to think of an answer.He didn't really know what his own ability was so he decided to say "I don't have one".

The stupid face that Tony was wearing was now gone since finally understood why his wasn't working.

Then two kids came walking up all cocky and pointed at Scott ring he was wearing.

"Give us the ring" the two jerk wads said.

"No go find another punching bag" Scott said with confidence.

One of the jerks swung on Scott.He dodged surprising himself. hitting tony making him fly back from the strength from the punch.Tony then came running back with a black aura energy around him.

Tony then picked up the two of them with little resistance and threw them like you would a book bag.

The two boys with fear in there eyes ran farther back into a large group of people disheartening from sight

"Thank you for the help I don't think I would of got out of that scratch free if you didn't help."

Jeff then called out the names of the next group.

"Scott Mikleson,Tony Tuner,Mcheal Stupka,Lany Richardson,and Asuna Blade please come here and prepare to be transported to your test"
