My Daemon System

In a mystical realm where humans are blessed with a unique connection to their inner selves, a wondrous fantasy world exists. Every individual is born with a Daemon, a magnificent creature believed to be the embodiment of their very soul. As they reach the age of maturity, the Daemon settles into a specific form, granting its human host a remarkable ability. However, amidst this extraordinary reality, there exists a young boy named Jacob who has faced a fate different from his peers. From the day of his birth, he was marked as different, for he was born without a Daemon. This peculiarity made him the target of relentless bullying and scorn from those who couldn't understand his absence. Enduring the constant torment, Jacob harbored a hidden strength, an indomitable spirit that refused to be crushed by the weight of his loneliness. One fateful day, as he found himself cornered once again by his tormentors, a wave of determination surged within him. No longer willing to be a victim, he unleashed an extraordinary ability, a power that surged through his veins. To his astonishment, he discovered that he possessed a system—a mysterious force guiding him through the trials and tribulations of his world. It presented him with quests, and challenges that tested his courage, resilience, and wit. Each quest completed bestowed upon him new skills and abilities, transforming him into a formidable force to be reckoned with. Jacob's journey took him across vast and enchanting landscapes, where he encountered strange creatures, forged unlikely alliances, and unraveled the secrets of his world. With every quest conquered, he grew stronger, both in body and in spirit, shedding the weight of his past suffering. Yet, as his powers expanded and his reputation grew, the system presented him with a quest that filled him with doubt and trepidation. Chapter 7 New friend

"Those are your first victory prize, your first crystal stone," Lucas responded.

"Crystal stone? What's a Crystal?" Jacob asked confused.

They are the remnants of a creature, once slain," Sergeant Lucas spoke, his voice carrying the weight of experience.

"These crystals, Jacob, hold within them the essence of power. They are coveted for their ability to forge advanced weaponry, each gem imbuing the weapon with the might of the beast it once belonged to. The greater the creature, the more potent the weapon that can be crafted."

Jacob's eyes widened as he gazed upon the glittering crystals, their vibrant hues captivating his imagination. He carefully accepted them from the seasoned sergeant.

"Don't worry, boy," Sergeant Lucas reassured, placing a firm hand on Jacob's trembling shoulder. "In time, you will learn the secrets of these ancient relics. The art of harnessing their power, shaping them into formidable arms, and wielding them against the forces that threaten our world."

Jacob nodded, his gaze unwavering as he absorbed every word, committing them to memory.

They both headed back to the bus, their footsteps synchronized in harmony with their triumph. As they crossed the threshold into the bus, a wave of exuberance engulfed them. The rest of the students, their eyes gleaming with admiration, erupted into applause, their hands meeting in a thunderous ovation.

The resounding claps reverberated through the air, filling the bus with a vibrant energy. Amidst the joyful chaos, the sergeant gracefully took his seat at the front of the bus.

Jacob, buoyed by the accolades, returned to his humble seat. The weight of their shared accomplishment settled upon him, mingling with a sense of gratitude for the support of his peers. His heart swelled with a mix of emotions, and he found solace in the familiar embrace of his seat.

As the cheers subsided, the bus hummed with anticipation, ready to continue their journey to the school.

As they continued their journey, the blue screen appeared right in front of him displaying another message.

[Daily quest: kill one Triad Felinexs]

(Status: Completed √)

'Wow! Let's try this go,' Jacob thought as he called out the host attributes.

[Host Attributes]

Name: Jacob

Level: 1

Experience Points: 100/1000

Health Points (HP): 100/100

Mana Points (MP): 50/50

------------------------------------

Oh, it truly got added," Jacob spoke excitedly as he stared at the attributes point.

"Now, how do I share these points?" Jacob questioned internally as he held his chin.

Jacob's gaze fixed upon the panel, his eyes filled with contemplation.

"Being able to add 5 attribute points to whatever attributes I wish to increase is not bad, but looking at my attributes, 5 isn't enough to go round."

Jacob continued to stare intently at the attributes panel, his mind deep in thought.

-----------------------------

{Attributes}

Strength: 5

Agility: 4

Endurance: 3

Intelligence: 5

Bravery: Null

Manipulation: Null

{Attributes Points:+5}

---------------------------------------

Placing everything in one category is the only way there can be a substantial difference, but at the same time, the rest would be lacking," Jacob was having a hard time deciding.

After contemplating for a few more minutes, he finally reached a decision.

"Even distribution would be a much better option," Jacob decided.

"One stat being way above the other, like strength and agility, will have an adverse effect... Imagine having great strength but being slow; how would that strength be used properly?" Jacob pondered as he solidified his decision for even distribution.

Now, let's go with... Add one point to strength," Jacob announced, his voice echoing with determination.

As the point dispersed into the aether, a surge of power coursed through Jacob's veins. His muscles tensed, responding to the newfound strength that flowed within him.

"What?" Jacob was surprised to see the notification that popped up after he tried to add a point to Manipulation.

"Add on point to Manipulation, " Jacob said once again.

[Unable to add points to a non-existent attribute]

Jacob had the urge to curse after seeing this, but he held himself back.

He scrutinized the attributes panel properly and finally came to a realization.

"But Bravery was also null and it allowed me to add a point to it," Jacob murmured.

[Some of the attributes are connected with circumstances]

[You are only able to add any points to bravery because of the battle you had earlier, you performed bravery so you achieve bravery]

"Ok then! If this is how it is being played, I will play along," Jacob said as he saw the system the explanation from the system.

Just then, as Jacob was busy with the system, a gentle touch upon his shoulder startled him. He turned his head, finding himself face to face with a captivating young woman who had been seated quietly behind him all along.

"Are you okay?" she inquired with a genuine concern laced in her melodious voice. "You seem to be lost in the depths of your thoughts."

His eyes widened in surprise, for he had not noticed her presence until that very moment. Her delicate hand still lingered upon his shoulder, imbuing a sense of warmth that penetrated his very being. Her emerald eyes sparkled with curiosity as if seeking to unravel the enigma that shrouded his mind.

He blinked, momentarily caught off guard by her sudden appearance and the kindness she exuded. "I... I am fine," he stammered, unable to hide the intrigue and confusion etched across his face. "Thank you for your concern.'

A hint of a smile played upon her lips, as she said. "I'm Lysandra by the way and I loved what you did out there".
