Chapter One_ Christmas Eve

Today was Christmas eve

I was currently two months pregnant with mine and Patrick's first baby together I was hoping that we was having a baby girl because I've already thought of a name for her if we are having a girl but I want to tell Patrick first with the fact that I'm actually pregnant.

It was four in the afternoon I was home alone with my German Shepherd puppy Luca we was watching die hard on Netflix.

I swear that I heard a car pull up outside the house but I just shrugged it off that was until the front door opened and I heard his sweet angelic voice.

Patrick Dempsey: Honey I'm home.

I jumped up off the couch and ran by the front door I saw Patrick standing there he dropped his bags I ran into his arms.

Lucy Downey: God I've missed you so much Patrick.

Patrick Dempsey: Not as much as I've missed you babe.

Lucy Downey: Come into the living room I have a very special Christmas surprise for you later.

Patrick Dempsey: Ooh I can't wait babe.

Five hours later

I was sitting in the living room I was holding Patrick's special gift that would reveal the fact that I was pregnant with our first baby together.

I looked up to see that Patrick had walked back into the living room he sat down on the couch by the side of me I turned to face him and he turned to face me I was smiling.

Lucy Downey: Patrick I've got a very special gift here for you.

Patrick Dempsey: Why can't this gift be opened tomorrow.

Lucy Downey: Because I want to give you this special gift today when it's just you and me with nobody else around that could disturb us and destroy this special moment and believe me babe you'll love this gift.

I handed him the wrapped box.

Lucy Downey: When you open it read what it says.

Patrick Dempsey: Ok.

He unwrapped the box and he opened it he took out the onesie and he unfolded it.

Patrick Dempsey: McDreamy in training.

His face lit up like a Christmas tree and he looked at me he had tears welling up in his eyes.

Patrick Dempsey: Are you pregnant for real.

Lucy Downey: Yeah two months pregnant to be exact.

Patrick Dempsey: I can't believe it we're going to have a baby we can be a family I love you both so much.

Lucy Downey: And we love you too Patrick more than anything in the entire world.

He placed the box onto the coffee table that was in the living room he then leaned in and we kissed I couldn't be more happy about being pregnant with his baby all we had to do now was tell my father and brother with the fact that I was pregnant I was doing that in the morning because it would be Christmas day.

One hour later

Me and Patrick decided to call it a night I was laying in our bedroom I was wearing my mama bear pyjamas I watched as Patrick walked out the ensuite bathroom wearing his papa bear pyjamas he got into bed by the side of me I cuddled closer to him and we fell asleep in each others arms not long after that.
