Chapter 150- Madeline.

Sebastien's POV.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, I just knew that something would happen, I didn't know it would he this, I never expected this, if I knew Madeline was invited to this party, I wouldn't have allowed it, I wonder what Lyn was thinking when she did, or didn't she realize she did.

Madeline definitely knew about Kath, we were just introduced to everyone and I know that she knew it already before we were introduced, she was that crazy and she took her stalking and stupid intrest in me, even after we've broken up years and they were other girls after Madeline, but she still managed to come after them, even when the relationship I had with them was purely sexual, even the one I had with Madeline, it was purely sexual, but she didn't think so, she had it in her deluded head that we were meant to be and never stopped believing that.

The only real relationship I've ever had is this one with Kath, I genuinely love her and I want to spend my whole lifetime with her.

The other girls who came before were just physical satisfaction for me and now no one could even compare to Kath, even with her innocence, I couldn't even stare at other girls, she has me hooked and I wasn't even complaining.

And Now Madeline decided the wrong time to attack her, if I saw her approach Kath I would've have stopped it, I was engrossed in what Matteo was saying, we all were, Dylan was nodding with a smile, Gabriel listened attentively and my eyes left Kath for a while, I regretted that now, immediately I heard the shrill Voice that annoyed me, I knew it was Madeline and I had a bad feeling about it.

"Oh, oh this is bad." Matteo said as he looked ahead and we all turned and I paled when I saw Madeline insulting Kath, "damn it!" I swore inwardly, this was really bad, Madeline was someone that didn't even care how embarssing any situation was, she would do anything she wished and Kath was staring at her in shock and I wondered why, I knew Kath could call her out on her bullshit but she didn't and I knew it was because she wanted to mingle with the guests.

"You're still in love with Sebastien years after he left you, and now you're attacking his mate, when she didn't do anything wrong." Mrs Moore said immediately I came closer to the scene Madeline caused, I saw Kath's face and I knew she was surprised, I didn't want to ever tell her about Madeline cause she wasn't that important and I didn't want her to know about my ex sexual partners, the crowd was here already.

"This is bad, this is really bad." Matteo said staring at Kath who kept blinking in surprise.

"I know it's bad alright." I said softly and ruffled my hair.

"Oh please she's a brat and you know it." Madeline replied and I rolled my eyes, I walked closer wishing this gossip mongers would just let me go close to Kath.

"And it's not a crime if I still love Bas, he would open his eyes soon, and realize that this is just a mate thing, and that he wouldn't need to marry if he doesn't want to." Madeline said and I winced, "damn it!" I cursed again, she was making things harder for me.

"Wow, wow, just wow." Kath exclaimed and I bit my lips in fustration pushing the person blocking me, the whole room was watching the scene and right now, I was behind, I pushed everyone and Matteo, Gabriel and Dylan joined in, in pushing them.

"I thought I did something wrong to you, but you're mad at me because of Bas." Kath said has I winced, she looked hurt and I hated myself right now, the last thing I wanted to do was make her hurt.

"Kath, are you okay?" I asked as I finally neared her, she turned and gave me a look that made me pause, I couldn't read her mind, so I didn't even know what she was thinking,she just kept a blank face.

"Yes I'm good." She said calmly and I searched her face trying to guage what it is she was thinking, I saw a slight flicker of emotion on her face and I wondered what it was.

"Sebastien, won't you look at me." Madeline said and I rolled my eyes, in anger, she wasn't going to make this easy for me.

"Get over yourself Madeline." I said angrily.

"Sebastien, I still love you, you don't have to agree to this Union, just because you're mates." Madeline spat and I winced when I stared at Kath, I knew that she was hurt.

"That's not why I want to spend my whole lifetime with her, and why the heck would you attack her that way?" I asked angrily.

"You shouldn't come to my sister's party and insult her Madeline." Dylan said and I heaved a little, thankful that someone spoke up.

"Stay way from this matter Dylan." Madeline said.

"No you shouldn't disrespect my sister that way." Dylan shot back, he was also upset, anyone like he with the way she was acting.

"Okay, as much as this party got really interesting with this amazing surprise," Kath said brightly with a smile I felt was forced, and I winced, she wasn't Happy, "I'll just go back to mingling with the guests, that's what I came for anyways." She said and I saw shock glances, some were surprised she didn't throw a fit.

She left with place with a sigh and went out, I was about to go after her when I felt a hand stop me, I turned to Madeline and raised my brows at her.

"Are you crazy?" I asked angrily, "nah you've always been crazy, but this is borderline batshit crazy." I said as I shrugged her hands off.

She was about to reach for me again, when Matteo blocked her with a smirk, I mummured thanks to him and he nodded, I went out looking for Kath.

I searched the whole venue and I couldn't find her,for the first time I didn't know where she was, what she was doing or how she felt right now, with Madeline causing a scene.

I couldn't even track, it's like she shut off totally, couldn't even track her scent, this was harder than I expected, I ruffled my hair in fustration, wondering where she ran out to, I needed to talk to her, to tell her that it was nothing, she didn't need to hear whatever Madeline said.

"Have you seen her?" Matteo asked and I turned to him shaking my head, he sighed and went to the left wing of the venue, and I rushed to the right, trying to search again.

I couldn't find her still, I was worried, what if she met powerful people as she was hurt, she wasn't everyone's favourite yet in this city and she was using tonight's party to remedy that, but I just had to have something that'll make her feel that way, I just had to be the reason she left and no matter how upset she was with me, if she didn't want to talk to me right now, it was fine, but I needed to know she was safe and okay.

"I couldn't find her." Matteo joined me again and I sighed.

"I wonder where she would be?," I mutter, "hope she is safe, that's all that matters the most right now, this city is not a place that can be roamed about easily." I added.

"Fuck, fuck,fuck." I swear as I hit the rubber i found on the floor, Matteo patted my shoulders softly as I sighed.

"It's okay, we'll find her and I'm sure she's fine." Matteo said, his words were comforting and at the same time, it made me so worried, I still wanted to know if she was okay, and his comforting words as beautiful as it was , made me more apprehensive.

I went back inside thinking I'll see her, but I didn't, I had little hope that she might have made her way back inside after getting some air, but she was nowhere to be found, I searched around, hoping to see her, but it was just futile, I could only see stares, the crowd that was gathered here was no more.

I stopped when I saw Mrs Moore, "did she come back inside?" I asked and she stared at me and shook her head.

"No she didn't, if I was her, I wouldn't too, I can't be cornered by your exes, so I'll make way, so I could have breathing space." Mrs Moore said and I sighed, she was right, though I wouldn't admit that to her.

"Thanks for the information." I said calmly and she glared at me, I sighted Dylan and Gabriel beaconing to me, I went immediately.
