Updates

The café door again opened. For Yubis, he almost flinched when it swung open, but it did not make any violent banging sound unlike when Horus entered earlier.

"Ah! Everyone seems to be here!" Sefie exclaimed. She smiled at the three gods who looked at her. She was accompanied by Charon as they entered the café and joined the group. She did receive a message from Yubis about an update a short while ago, so she went here in person before she makes her way into the Dream Realm. She witnessed Horus glaring at Yubis bickering when she entered. Although unexpected, Vreta was also here which she needed to speak with afterwards.

"Ah! Lady Sefie…" Vreta stood up and politely made a bow. "I greet Lady Sefie and Lord Charon from the realm of dreams."

"Hello, Lady Sefie. Lord Charon." Horus bowed solemly.

"Hi sister-in-law. Hello Charon-san!" Yubis waved his hand casually beckoning the new arrivals. Charon just bowed and went to the counter to get some refreshment. It looked like a cafe for all intents and purposes following the whims of the gods but no crew and cash register.

"You must be happy to learn that the chrysalis was retrieved." Sefie opened the topic with Vreta and beamed towards the loli goddess.

"Indeed, lady sefie. I can relax a bit. The only thing to do right now is have it returned to the guardian of dreams." Vreta exclaimed as if a huge burden was lifted. She was expecting for a week however by sheer chance, the goblin was camping near the springs and even rooted out the last two creatures that were reported to have the chrysalis. She took another sip of tea.

Sefie was relieved for Vreta. As the big sister to all the female deities in Tartarus, she was happy for her.

"I also came here with good news for you Vreta-chan!" Sefie gave a gentle smile at the loli goddess.

The loli goddess blink twice as she stared at the smiling spring goddess. She is curious about the good news. Needless to say, she isn't very good with surprises. "What is it?" She anxiously asked.

"Ah! Ebisu-sama will be delivering a pair of baku any minute now. They are to support you on the Realm of Dreams." Sefie beamed at the loli goddess. While Vreta is the goddess of Dreams and the Night, it was hard for her to keep the realm of dreams from breaking out, especially since that chrysalis thing got stolen. There were temporary measures that has been done and a new chrysalis is being made but that would take a millennium to create one even if the necessary materials are ordered. But having the baku reside on the realm of dreams can keep the realm inhabitants at bay.

Vreta held Sefie's hand with her eyes shining. "A Baku!" She was practically giddy at this point. She heard it from the eastern gods once, a creature that looked like an elephant that eats dreams. They were rare and hard to find. The Cosmos have only several of them and she never had one before. She had a problem with the Realm of Dreams especially with nightmare creatures. And to add to her worries, the emplacements that were substituted for the chrysalis are not that effective. It's really a relief for her. She wanted to cry right there and then.

"Charon, why dont you lead vreta with greeting Ebisu? They should be arriving any minute now." Sefie called on Charon. She could not help that this little goddess might cry.

"Yes madam." Charon bowed as soon as he put down the tray of tea set. Then he beckoned at the little goddess. "This way lady Vreta."

"Ok. Thank you, big sister Sefie!!!" Vreta was overjoyed. "I will leave for now and return in a bit." She walked with Charon as they went out of the café.

"Ah…. When shall she call me brother Horus?" Horus muttered. He could feel himself blushing. If his feathers could change color, he might have gone to be a beet red falcon just thinking to that idea.

"Pfft…" Sefie and Yubis snickered. Yubis then called Horus. "Horus Onii-san! If you don't like that, you can go with Horus-oppa!"

Sefie chuckled as Horus glared with his falcon eyes to Yubis who was making fun of him.

"But seriously, we should really stabilize that realm… any projects that we can have people assist her with?" Sefie commented. The Realm of Dreams is quite shaky since it is a realm of its own and still converting its association Zariya. Converting a realm to join or associate to a certain world is a long arduous process. And adding to that, the series of paperwork that the involved parties needed to have it certified by the Cosmos which makes the process longer. Though Cosmos added specific guidelines and requirements, it is to track these realms and also to take necessary precautions against incompatible and harmful realms that could break the adjacent territories and even the actual world.

"Ehhh…. We need either new god recruits or create an infrastructure to stabilize that realm. Everyone is like on training and the higher roles that we have, they are swamped with the aspect maintenance." Yubis frowned as he scratched his ear. Tartarus was indeed moved several decades ago however the previous creator god had left a thousand years ago, and some deities were also leaving for other posts as soon as their devotion was too low. In short, the deities that were leaving were more than the ones who are applying. "We really need to finish the reorganization and promotion." Yubis said with a frustrated tone.

"Well, I do hope that Medusa can pass the major requirement test. She has the backing of the Nagas at the moment. The lamias are a problem though. And we need to make it at least bare minimum for her requirements." Sefie sipped her tea. "I need more honey with this." She groaned as it was a black tea without any additives that she sipped. She was craving for sweet teas from time to time especially when she tried those coffee shops and tea houses with her most recent vacation travels with her husband.

Yubis snapped her fingers and a mummified figure appeared. That figure fetched an Egyptian jar and offered it to Sefie.

"Thank you." Sefie replied. She took her teaspoon and scooped two heaps of honey and then stirred it to her tea.

"We will go with priorities first. Hubby is petitioning right now for a special administrative rule." Sefie said. "If that pushes through, we can do a mass movement with the other religions, at least we can get saints or lower deities with minor aspects."

The cosmos has a set of aspects governing the world depending on the society. Although the aspects may evolve depending on the world's evolution. For our world, the aspects of enlightenment, holy and righteousness aspects have become predominant due to the religions present in modern times and these aspects are shared by the gods who are associated with those aspects. Meanwhile in Zariya, they are still using the basic aspects like land, creation, sky, fire, war, and other similar things since it will be the foundation and framework of the religion as gods. In layman's term, it is possible that there are gods for almost everything.

"I do hope it is granted this time. Cosmos is getting busier at the moment." Horus stood up and went to the coffee maker at the counter. "At least we can have more personnel at our disposal."

"Yeah, I am hoping that this time it will be granted." Sefie took another sip again to check if the tea is up to her liking. "By the way, you said that there are updates with Ryuji." She quickly changed the topic.

"Yes. Here is the recording and the report." Yubis swiped his tablet and showed it to Sefie.

"What's weird about it?" Sefie looked puzzled. "Wait… His mana did not show the current numbers?!"

"Yes." Horus said nonchalantly. He did send these details to Yubis a few minutes ago after the goblin tried to use <status>.

"Should it be normal? I mean you were doing the update either way." Sefie stated as if it was normal. She is confused with this update. Although, whenever they do an update with the Zariyan World System, it never had someone show question marks on someone's status.

"No, it was not. The one I was updating is the skills and the familiar parts interface. The main parts of the status pages should not be affected." Horus said as matter-of-factly. He was sure that the codes that he was inputting should not affect the attributes and the statistics parts since these are the parts that individuals that can use <status> look up to. It was inevitable with coding the skills part since they are using Ryuji as their subject and he noticed how messy the skills interface is.

"Try to confirm it again." Sefie sighed. It was something that needed to be checked if Ryuji is a glitch. This information is considered an update, but it did not help to confirm if the person is indeed a demigod. Rather, this information most likely made Sefie further question Ryuji's existence as a demigod.
