Chapter Twenty Five

Sarah POV

Two days after Evans sent that video to me,am in my office but am not in the office more like my body is there but my mind is not there. I have been thinking of every possible way to get myself out of this problem without betraying my boss,but all my thinking are not yielding any positive result I always come back to either I betrayed him or face the consequences of not betraying him.

I have been out of it since today even Rose noticed it and am sure that my boss noticed it too when I entered his office earlier. I decided to rest my head on the desk cause am already feeling the headache cause of too much thinking. 5 minutes after I laid down my head on the desk I felt someone tapped me on my shoulder, I opened my eyes to see who tapped me and standing there is Rose.

Sorry I must have doze off,am having slight headache and I decided to rest my head on the desk for some minutes I explained to her. She looked at me with concern that's okay there is no need for you to apologized I understand.

So this headache have you taken any medication yet for it Rose asked placing one of her hand on my forehead while she placed the other hand on her forehead but your temperature is not high so how did you have headache? She asked, I don't know I simply answered her cause I don't want her to question me. 

Come on Sarah don't lie to me I can feel that something is wrong with you apart from headache,she stretched that headache to show me that she did not believed the headache excuse. Nothing is wrong with me,everything is fine I said while I avoided looking at her.

Rose held my hand ,Sarah look at me please she pleaded ,I raised my head and looked at her I can see the genuine concern in her eyes maybe I should tell her what is going on she might be able to help me,she wiped my tears that I don't know when it started running down my face.

Tell me Sarah what is happening to you? Why are you crying? You look so tired,please tell me I will help if I can and if I don't have the power to help you I will look for someone who is capable of helping you Rose assured me. I told her everything from the very beginning to the end. After keeping silent for some seconds Rose opened her mouth,I can't believe that Anna will still try to sabotage our boss again.

I think that the best thing to do now is to tell our boss what is going on because he is the one in the best position to stop Anna madness Rose suggested. Her suggestion made a lot of sense but what about the video I know Evans will not hesitate to release the video if Boss confronts Anna. Rose what about the video? How is the boss going to help me on that? I voiced out the doubts on my mind. Trust me on this Sarah our boss is the best option you got now am sure he will also take care of the video he had connection just tell him the truth and leave the rest to him,Rose continued to assure me. Okay Rose I will do as you said if you are so sure that boss will help me I said to her praying in my heart that am not making mistake.
