Chapter One Hundred and Ninety Two

Ella POV

 Max texted me that he want to see me, after we met the other day he did not contact me again so I was really surprise and also happy when he texted me. I hurriedly dressed up cause I miss him and how funny he is whenever we are together also I don't want to be a third wheel to Sarah and George and I think the both of them need the privacy. I headed out to where Max asked me to come to, for the first time since I come to know him am looking forward to see him.

I arrived at our meeting place and he is already there waiting for me. I smiled and walked towards him, Hi, I greeted when I reached where he is seated. Hi, he stood up and walked towards me and pulled the chair out for me. Thank you, I appreciate his gentleman gesture. I sat down while the waiter approach us to get our order. I order pasta and chicken cause I have been craving for it while he go for fried rice and steak by the side. I noticed that he really like steak cause anytime we went out he always order steak irrespective of what he is having at the moment.

The waiter left to get our order, then I look at him, I must confess he is really handsome. No wonder he was able to get ladies swooning around him despite the fact that he have that ladies heartbreaker reputation, plus the fact that he is rich. You want to see? I asked him cause for the first time we are together he is not talking. Let's eat first then we can talk after we are done eating, He said to me. Well I guess whatever that he want to say must be really important cause he is really taking his time.

Our food arrived and we eat to our fill and the food are very delicious, the waiter asked if we want any other thing but at the moment I don't want anything and Max don't want anything either he just order for more water. I know you are wondering why I want to see you, he started talking. I nodded my head silently encouraging him to go on. I know you are already familiar with what am about to tell you, I know you want us to be friends but you and I know that I don't want that, He said looking at me.

I already have an idea where this is going but the question is, Am I ready to go further with him? Have I concurred my fear about him? This are the questions going on in my head now. I can tell you already know where am going but I will still say it nevertheless and I don't want you to feel that am taking advantage of what is going on between you and your father, He said. I still did not say anything cause I want him to say all that is on his mind before I say anything.

I love you Ella, I know I have a bad reputation as a Playboy, a womanizer, call it whatever you want to call it but one thing is certain, the feelings I have for you I have never feel this way for any other woman, He said looking steadily at me. I don't know what to do now, I can't really say this is what my feelings for him is. Instead of saying something I was just staring blankly at him. I don't want to be just friends with you, give me chance I want to prove my self to you, he continue talking.

I held his hand cause I can see the desperation and frustration kicking in because I kept quiet while he was talking all this while. Max I will be a liar if I tell you that I understand what I feel for you but one thing is certain I don't loathe you the way I did before, I don't loathe you at all and am comfortable around you but you know relationship is a big step to take, I told him. He looked directly in my eyes and smiled but you can see how nervous he is.

Let's take that step Ella you can never tell how big the step is until you take it, let's take it and see how it is please give me a chance, Max plead. I heaved a sigh cause right now my life is so hectic I fall out with my father and now my friendship with Max is on the line cause there is every tendency that if I don't accept him it will really affect our friendship. Max I don't want to regret this, I don't want our friendship to be destroyed because we did not work out, I told him cause I have decided to give it a chance and see how it goes.

I promise if we did not work out our friendship will not be affected, I will make sure of that, he said while he raised his hand like someone that is taking an oath. Okay if you say so I will hold you onto that, I told him while smiling. His eyes widened when he understand the meaning of my word. You don't mean what I think you are trying to say, he said almost standing up from his seat. I smiled widely cause he really look like a kid that is eager to have his favorite candy.

I nodded my head telling him that whatever he is thinking is what I meant. You are really going to give us a chance? He asked now standing up fully. Yes, I muttered but he heard him. Before I know what is happening am almost in the air cause Max carried me up out of excitement. Yes! Yes! She said yes! She is now my girlfriend! He continue shouting. Though his shouting is embarrassing but am happy at the same time, I was just smiling looking at him smiling at me.

Can I kiss you? He asked looking at me so lovely and how can I say no to that adorable look am getting from him. I nod my head and he quickly sealed his lips with mine, I don't know when I start to respond his kiss. Wow you are really good at this, that explains why all this lady keep coming back, I said the moment we break the kiss. Well this lips is all yours now, only you nobody else, he said and peck my lips. I guess am officially in a relationship with Max Cobbs
