Saved?

Khan felt something violently drag him up from the floor as he was raised above his feet and whisked away.

His vision was already turning dark from exhaustion but he could still see he was in some type of power bike where a figure wearing a helmet sat.

"Hold on tight!!!" The words rang in his ears as Khan held the figure's waist tightly, his consciousness slowly descending into the darkness as he was slowly swallowed up, though his hold never left...

"BEEP"

"BEEP"

The sound of a beeping monitor.

Slowly opening his groggy eyes, he was faced with the sight of the white ceilings.

Immediately, he jumped up from the bed, as he rolled up, his predatory eyes scanning around the room. He was expecting his daggers which would normally slip down from his sleeves, but they have been removed. That made Khan feel like he was naked.

Looking around the room, he could see it was a simple hospital room, with the beeping monitor, the white bed, the different medical objects present around the room, and most importantly, his two daggers on the tray beside the bed.

He couldn't help but raise his eyebrows and wonder why anyone would leave his weapon beside him unless...

Dipping his daggers back into the puffy feminine white garment he was putting on, Khan moved to the window he looked at it, seeing nothing but clouds that spread as far as eyes could see.

He was on a plane.

Clenching open the door knob, he gently opened the door as he headed out of the place noticing the long corridor and the sound of music playing in the room close to him.

Khan slowly walked, not making a sound as his daggers slipped into his right hand and his left hand held the door knob.

"HUUUUHHHH..." Breathing out for what was to come, the door was swung open as the sound of fast music entered into his ears and he raised an eyebrow on sighting the image.

A young lady was jumping around twisting her body as her pink hair bounced around her head.

She seemed to be really into it as Khan stood there for the next ten seconds unnoticed but strangely he found the lady a bit familiar.

"AHHHHHHH..." A shrill scream rang out as the girl jumped in shock...

"You!!!" She screamed out, her both hands covering her chest. Clapped her hands twice, the music stopped, and Khan raised an eyebrow at her.

Of course, he already kept his knife back in her sleeves.

"Don't you know to knock before entering a room..." The girl chastised him with an angered expression.

"You're that lady that almost got killed by the Night Werewolf..." Khan said finally finding out the reason she was so familiar. She was the so-called Base head that he met fighting with the werewolf and saved from its claws.

"And also the one who saves your neck from getting sliced off by a katana. Also, I have a name, it's Aurelia..." Aurelia said grumbling.

"And where is this..." Khan asked looking around the room.

"Is that Suicides City's way of saying thank you for saving my life..."

-- -- --

"To appreciate the weight of life..."

-- -- --

The voice rang in Khan's head as he stood still numbed for some time before bowing his head.

"Thank you for saving my life..."

"Now that's more like it..." Aurelia said feeling much more satisfied.

"So where are we now..." Khan asked activating Nanorunic's Eyes as his gaze pierced through the walls and he discovered bo more sign of energy which meant only hin and this lady were together in the room.

"Come with me..." Aurelia said exiting the room as Zeras followed her outside of the room to a more gigantic opening which was the plane's head as he saw the clouds even more clearly although they were able to stop flying out by the barrier surrounding the place.

"I'm sorry for the trouble I caused..." Aurelia said with a saddened expression as Khan faced her.

"Where you the one that caused the mayhem in the Lab..."

"Yes. Even though that was a mistake, I was still the one who accidentally pressed the button and it even almost cost my life..."

"That?" Khan asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Also, I was the one who took the image of you fighting against the night werewolf..."

'So obvious..." Khan thought to himself. Of course, it was only him and her that were present then so surely she was the one that took the image.

"Believe me, I don't have any other intention, when I did. I just took it for..."

'It's ok," Khan cut her off.

"I almost got killed by you and you saved me. That makes us even..." Khan replied looking into the clouds. Of course, he had seen them countless times and even closer gk them than now, just that he had never felt this peaceful before.

Aurelia looked at the golden-haired young man beside her, as her heart thumped within her chest. This was by far the most handsome and masculine of young men around her age that she had ever seen.

She had already seen the craziness he was capable of just a few hours ago and that, though, was supposed to make her distance herself, it only made her chest thump harder and so she decided to die in such a way wasn't worth it, so she saved him...

"So where is the plane heading?" Zeras asked with a raised eyebrow. He still wasn't completely safe unless he was outside Suicides City.

"I'm heading back home. To EC..." Aurelia said brought out of her thoughts.

"You have a home in EC?" Khan asked slightly surprised. He was well aware of the rankings of the city, determined by the safety and power level of its inhabitants and EC was the ranked one in all of the world and also the farthest from Suicides City.

It was the most perfect place for him to run away too. But living in such a place definitely won't come at an easy cost and it'll sure be crazily expensive.

Hearing her say she had a home there made him shocked but even more cautious as he knew someone like her wouldn't be an ordinary basehead of a research lab in Suicides City.

That begged the question, just who was this grumpy girl in front of him?

Powerstones are greatly appreciated guys. I'm really grateful for them. Sincerely, Thank you.
