Chapter 79 Hard to Grasp

Maybe after a few days of hot weather, it started to rain heavily, thunder raging in the sky.

It was terribly quiet in the bathroom. I thought that Dylan was angry, but then I realized that he wasn't.

He calmed down and tidied his own clothes. Then he looked at me and said, "Have a good rest!"

After that, he turned around and left the apartment.

His emotion was really hard to grasp.

When Demi came in, I was still sitting in the bathroom, daydreaming. Seeing me wet all over, she exclaimed, "Lacey, what are you doing? Why are you like this? Even though you don't cherish yourself, you should at least think about the baby in your belly!"

I was taken out of the bathroom. I sat still on the bed  and let her wipe my hair dry.

After a long time, I asked Demi, "Do you think a man will fall in love with a woman because of a child?"
