"Urgh..." what was he thinking? He didn't even have a girl he liked, much less a wife and son to protect Lu Aotian's future son.
...
The next morning, Wan Jia was extremely restless. She had not even slept a wink all night. It was just lucky that her skin was so flawless and healthy that she would not ever have dark circles.
She didn't even take a bath before going to Lu Aotian's room.
"Aotian, how about I go and get Little Jia?"
"Mmmh...What did you call me?" The man groaned groggily as he stretched himself with his eyes closed."
It was rather early and he had stayed up for the most part of the night; he was planning to sleep in. His pajamas revealed a sliver of his firm chest muscles. When he stretched out his arm muscles, his chest appeared to bulge and looked even more firm and defined.
Despite his usual manly air, his currently unruly hair made his face look quite different from usual. He looked quite...uhm...cute? It was extremely rare for Lu Aotian to look like he could be described with any word close to that.
Wan Jia had to swallow her drool as she stared at the thirst-inducing sight before her.
"Husband." She corrected herself as she walked slowly towards him.
'I'll just peck his cheek lightly and flee.' She thought. 'After all, he steals kisses from me too. Many of them at that.'
She stood beside his bed for a while before using one knee to support her on the bed and edging closer to his cheek. He had stopped moving around actively and was breathing slightly heavily, he should be asleep.
She blushed as she planted a kiss on his cheek, then she felt it wasn't enough and kissed his forehead as well. In no time, his whole face had been rained with her kisses.
Just as she was about to forcefully turn away and dash out, she caught sight of his lips. They were thin and soft; slightly parted and according to her, just begging to be kissed.
"Why am I being so silly?" she scolded herself. He was her man. She was free to kiss him as much as she wanted.
She finally took a deep breath and connected her lips with his. She only intended to give him a slight peck, but somehow her lips moved against her wish as she pried his lips open, kissing him deeper and curling his tongue around his.
The man on the bed felt immense heat rising from the pit of his stomach, making him feel like his body was being scalded. Unable to continue playing 'dead', he hurled out a hand and in the next second the girl landed right smack on his body.
Wan Jia was slightly shocked from being suddenly pulled into his embrace but forgot about it a second later, caressing his hair as she resumed kissing with a certain sense of urgence.
She felt his hand snake around her body. Even with the nightdress barring his hands from being in direct contact with her skin, it sure was more than enough to send desire down her spine...she was losing her mind. Just as she was about to stop the kiss, she felt her world spin as Lu Aotian flipped her over, supporting his weight with an elbow while being on top of her.
Their position was becoming increasingly ambiguous and dangerous...
His hand slid under her nightdress to touch her bare skin, sending shudders all over her body. He moved away from her lips to her neck and collar bone leaving trails of kisses on her soft fair skin.
"Aotian..."
"Mmh?"
his hand continued moving upwards as if he hadn't even heard her.
"Mmh..." her next words were interrupted by an especially fiery kiss.
Just as his hand came into contact with her bare breast, he suddenly stopped as he realized what he was doing.
"D*mn it!" he cursed softly and dashed into the bathroom.
The sound of running water echoed in the room seconds later.
"He won't be done for at least one hour." Wan Jia muttered, lighting a candle for him in her heart as she decided to go and take a cold shower herself.
....
"Daddy! Mommy!"
An incredibly voice greteed as soon as they arrived at the old residence.
Under Wan Jia's incessant nagging, Lu Aotian had to relent and bring her to take back her baby, or else he wouldn't have a single moment of peace in the house.
"Mommy?" Lu Tongyan mumbled. Did Little Jia just call -- her mother?
When did Lu Aotian, that rascal, get a wife and even introduced her to Little Jia without caring to inform him?
"Why didn't anyone tell me that Aotian has found a wife?" he complained to his younger son.
Lu Shaoting, who was taking water, almost chocked on it.
No one told you? My dear father, how could you even manage to say that with a clear conscience? I mentioned it twice. Two whole times! I even told you it's Wanwan.
Forget it, the man was paying all his attention to Little Jia and probably on heard inaudible mumbles.
The man rushed out to see just what goddess was able to make his son, who had vowed never to love any other woman, fall in love with her. She must be an angel sent straight from heaven.
Wan Jia squatted to hug her little baby. At that moment, she heard the sound of familiar footsteps approaching from inside the house.
She did not need a fortune teller to tell her...that she was dead!
