New Friends

*knock knock*

(In Japanese)

"Excuse me! Is anyone there?!", shouted a girl's voice who sounded rather excited

"Chisa... Your voice is a little loud...", said another girl with a panicky voice

"You guys... what are you guys doing?", said a third female lady who sounded more mature

"Ah! Misaki! We wanted to welcome the new stu-"

I opened my apartment door to see 3 Japanese girls who each looked very different from one another.

Chisa-san (I think?) was a petite little girl, probably around 150cm. She wore an oversized Fila hoodie that reached until her knees and paired it with some Adidas shoes. Her long hair was dyed blonde and tied up in a high ponytail with her air-bangs covering parts of her forehead. Her make-up was done in a way to match her cute appearance, tinted lip gloss with slight pink eye shadow and a bit of blush on her cheeks.

"Eh?! A foreigner?!" , exclaimed Chisa-san with a shocked expression

Haha what a cute reaction.

"Hello. My name is Aki Syan. Um... I can speak Japanese so... please come in." , I said awkwardly while inviting them into my apartment.

I settled them inside my apartment and let them sit on the couch. Thankfully the house was fully furnished so there were cups and cutlery to use. I brought out 3 glasses of water to offer them and there we started our conversation.

"Hello Syan-san. Sorry for the sudden intrusion, my dear friends were just excited to meet our new neighbour. My name is Misaki Aiko, you can just call me Misaki, nice to meet you."

Misaki emitted a very mature aura.

She wore a deep green blouse with white long pants and a classy pair of high heel boots. She dressed very simply, unlike Chisa-san who wore branded goods very obviously. However, I could tell that she was just as well-off through the accessories that she wore.

Misaki wore a silver Pandora bracelet with diamonds around the charms that were hanging on it. Her dangling earrings were part of the limited edition Swarovski Jewellery made from extremely rare and pure crystals. Her accessories shone and dazzled so brightly in the light proving that they were all real jewels. Her makeup was more obvious than Chisa-san's, with red lipstick and sliver eyeshadow, but it was not over-applied so it made her looked very professional. She too had long hair, about shoulder length, and it was tied in a low ponytail.

I gave her a smile and said, "Nice to meet you to."

"um... hello... I'm Hirame Ryuko, nice to meet you.." , said Ryuko-san with a shy and soft voice

"Please to meet you Ryuko-san.", I said with a warm smile on my face

Ryuko-san looked like a very shy and timid person who doesn't dare to open up with people she does not know well. She wore a very uniquely-shaped spectacle, it wasn't a circle but it looked kind of like an octagon. Her long black hair was tied up in a bun but there were braids that wrapped around it, making it look very stylish. Her outfit was rather casual and the most simplistic out of everyone's in the room. Ryuko-san wore an oversized plain dark blue long-sleeve shirt with a pair of jean shorts, and a pair of ash grey Sketchers shoe. She did not wear much jewellery except for a short necklace that wrapped around her neck which had a golden circle charm in the middle.

And considering the fact that she was in this school, it must have been real gold.

"ANDDDDD HELLO! My name is Chisa Riane! I'm the super-energetic-hyper-small-bright-loud-positive-always-happy friend of the group! Hahaha nice to meet you!"

I giggled after hearing her funny self-introduction, "Pleasures' all mine."

"Syan-san, how old are you?", asked Misaki.

"Oh I'm 18."

"18?? What a coincidence haha, looks like we are all the same age. Since it's like this, let us all drop the formalities and just call each other by our first names. Haha how does that sound?", suggested Misaki

And obviously we all agreed. This was how made my first 3 friends in the academy.

So apparently, all 3 of them were friends ever since high school and they decided to attend this university together since they couldn't bear to part with each other. They moved into the dorms just a few days earlier than me and got to know this school more than me.

What a strong bond they have...

And I also found out that Chisa and Hirame go wayyyyy back together. Since their families were quite close with each other due to the many business cooperations they had together, Chisa and Hirame grew up together. Soooo you can technically call them childhood friends.

I told them more about myself, that I'm mixed blood as my mom is Japanese and my dad is English. I also told them about the school's scholarship that was given to me. And as predicted, they were all shocked as no one has ever heard of anyone receiving a scholarship from such an Elite School.

I also added that I was not as well-off as compared to all of them here in this school.

"Though I'm not rich, I still feel rather satisfied with what I have haha. I was thinking of getting a part-time job so that I could have some spending money without having to use my parent's money.", I said

"Part-time job?", they said in sync, as if they had not heard of such a thing before

"Why would you need a part-time job when you have us?!", exclaimed Chisa.

"Huh? What?", I responded in confusion.

"Aren't we friends already??", said Chisa with her puppy eyes.

"Yes yes! Of course, we are!", I replied hastily.

"Well since we are friends like you said, we should always lend a helping hand to friends in need right?", Misaki suddenly said while looking towards Chisa and Hirame

"mmhhmmm", Hirame joining the conversation too, nodding and agreeing to what both of them said

"ah... what??", I said still confused

"LETS GO!", shouted Chisa as she suddenly grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the apartment door.

"To where??!", I exclaimed

"To the shopping mall of course!", she replied in excitement

"What?!!"
