Suspicion

After 15 hours of plane travel, I was dead tired by the time I reached at the Delhi airport.Also the supplied food in the the plane were so horrible that even a foody like could not eat that.So I was quiet hungry .All in all I was in a pretty bad condition at that time.I dragged my heavy suitcase with my tired body out the airport.At the entrance I spotted my cousin with his waist long hair.My mouth twitched.

'At least they send someone to pick me up.'

I thought.He also spotted me and waved his hand.I smiled and walked towards him.

''Big sister Rohan,long time no see."I shouted with a miscivious smile as I approached him.Because of his long hairs everyone teased him and called him sister.He really got annoyed every time someone called him sister.But it was really fun.

He stared at me for a second and then came towards me and looked at the suitcase in my hand.I thought he was going to take the suitcase from me.So I happily passed the handle to him.He once again stared at me and then..without taking the suitcase from me just turned around and started to walk towards exist.I stood at that same spot for a few seconds being dumbfounded and then looked at the heavy suitcase with a heavy heart.

"Big sister Rohan"

"Sister" "Rohan"

"Big brother"

He suddenly stopped walking,turned around,walked towards me and then patted my head and said with a big smile"My good little sister."

I was speechless.Looking at my speechless expression he laughed out loud and then walked toward the car.I pouted and followed behind him.

After getting into the car I wanted to ask him about my grandpa but I was afraid to hear something I didn't want to.Rohan also didn't say anything.After a long time I could not control myself and asked,"Brother how is grandpa?"

He looked at my worried face and smile as he said,"Don't worry his condition has been stabilised."I sighed in relief.Then I asked angrily,"It is again due to his stupid experiments right.Why can't he just stop his crazy experiments and rest and also why you all are not stopping him."

"You know how stubborn he is.When did he ever listened to anyone."

""Yeah..that's true."I smiled.

After 2 hours we reached at home.Everyone except for my elder uncle were at home.I knew that he was at the hospital with grandpa.

"Naina,my child ."My grandma hugged me tightly and started crying.

"Grandma stop crying or else you are going to look ugly."

"I'm already old and ugly,so it's ok."

"If you don't stop crying then I am also going to cry.And if I become ugly then you will be responsible for that."

"Hahaha...alright alright I am not crying anymore.Just let me look at you again.Aiya ...just look at how pretty my granddaughter is."She was so happy that she just could not stop smiling.

"Of course my niece is the prettiest.Afterall she is the carbon copy of my beautiful sister in law.If she lives in the ancient time,her beauty would have cause the downfall of many kingdoms."My aunt started to praise me and mom.My aunt valued appearance a lot.So she never give up any chance to praise us.

"Alright,enough talking.Naina,go freshen up and come quickly for dinner."I smiled and obediently went to my room.I knew that my mom was restraining herself from crying.I could feel her happiness.Actually I knew that everyone was happy,but I could also detect some unknown worry from them.I did not know the reason behind their worry but I knew it was related to me.My eyes narrowed as I went inside the washroom.

I had just come out of the washroom when someone knocked at the door.I opened the door and saw Bina standing there with a worried look.Before while I was talking with others in the living room I had felt that she wanted to say something but because of the presence of others could not say anything.So I knew she would surely come.We sat on the bed and then I asked"Do you want to say something?" She hesitated for a moment and then nodded and then in a serious voice said,"You should not have come here."

"What are you saying? You are the one who called me and asked me to come."I retorted.

"I don't know how I end up calling you."She sighed and said.

"What do you mean?"From her tone I felt like something was not right.

"Nothing.But Naina please listen to me and go back."

"But why?Why can not I stay with all of you?You all have been telling me not to come back.But why can't you tell the reason to me?"I asked angily and waited for her answer but she didn't reply,instead said,"Dinner is ready.Come downstairs quickly."

Then she got up and went out of the room.

I looked at her departing back with a complicated expression.

'No matter what I will definitely know the truth.'I thought and went downstairs for dinner.
