My Confessions...

Mo Hai and Zou Guanting trudged on, the path before them seeming never-ending. They walked for hours, their footsteps echoing in the silence. The heat was relentless, the sun beating down on them without mercy. Despite the harsh conditions, Mo Hai refused to give up. She had made her decision and was determined to see it through.

As they continued, Zou Guanting suddenly spoke up, his words interrupted by his own exhaustion.

Mo Hai stood beside him, unsure of what to say. They had just left the tribe of alpaca behind and with it ... Liu Yifan - a beastman who had grown quite fond of Mo Hai.

"Mo Hai, I have to tell you something," Zou Guanting says, his voice rough with exhaustion. "I know we've been through a lot together, and I know that it might not be the easiest thing to accept, but I have feelings for you."

Mo Hai's heart skips a beat. She suspects as much, but hearing the words makes her feel a mixture of emotions. Part of her is flattered, but another part feels guilty for leading Zou Guanting on.

"I appreciate your honesty, Zou Guanting, but I need to be honest with you too," Mo Hai replies softly. "I have feelings for you, too, but I have to admit that it's hard for me to see you as a mate. As a beastman, you have this animalistic quality that sometimes makes me feel like you're more of a pet than a partner."

Zou Guanting nods, understanding the struggle that Mo Hai is going through. He has experienced similar feelings when he first meets her. He is a man, and she is woman, and their different backgrounds make it difficult for them to see eye to eye sometimes.

But despite the difficulties, Zou Guanting is determined to fight for Mo Hai's affections.

"I know that it might seem unconventional, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make you see me as an equal," Zou Guanting says, looking deep into Mo Hai's eyes. "I'll work harder to control my animalistic tendencies, and I'll do everything in my power to prove to you that I'm worthy of your love."

Mo Hai is touched by Zou Guanting's words, and her heart swells with affection for him. She knows that it won't be easy, but she is willing to take a chance on him.

"Okay," she says, smiling softly. "Let's give it a try."
