2 Chapter 2: Goro Goro no Mi (Lighting)

~Alex POV~

When I took just one step on the island, I was met with a mission right off the bat, but the requirements were weird for sure, "Ok just stepping on one step activated the mission function but not just one but two as well?"

Ok, then system thanks for the gift then but looking at the tall tower of the mountain I tried out to use my Goro Goro no Mi to summon up a thunder cloud since it would be an easier ride for me to get on.

Concentrating on the sky, a bit it took me a while to get the hang of the ability…

I kept focusing for the next few hours till I finally managed to recreate a thunder cloud as I was sweating from my attempt.

I didn't know having a Logia ability is this exhausting to use I guess it's more like I just gained my abilities since I didn't have much time to use it.

The Logia fruits in the series and Devil Fruits are plain awesome if someone from our world was more creative on how they wield them, and the Logia's just give you the control to play with your element.

Now with that, I climb on top of my thunder cloud as it raises me to the air in the sky viewing the island of Sixis I have to admit it was breathtaking.

While I was enjoying the view I was thinking to myself in a proud tone thinking that I'm in the literal One Piece world, 'Still, if I'm in the Sixis Island then that means I'm in the East Blue the weakest of the Blues here in this part of the sea but this place has few Logia users in this part the fire and the one with liquid, smoke, fire and now lighting ability in this world…'

Thinking about this carefully I'm in the year 1514 I know where the big players are already making their move the complete conquer of Dressrosa, the death of Otohime queen of Fishman Island, the death of Tom the Fishman the created Roger ship, and lastly the death of Nami's mother Bellemere …

Well, I can't do anything about the first three but at the very least I can change the canon timeline for Nami at least I have no use for her really but keeping her mother alive will most likely change the canon even if it's just a little.

But how would I even know when it will begin though questions the only real way to confirm it would be staying at their home and I don't feel like staying for long though.

But for now, though I have to find a way to get Haki soon I expressed a worried look, "Haki… I doubt I can master it in a year but progressing it would be difficult if I don't know how to first."

Fortunately, I'm already aware that I can probably get the manual from the system but the question arises what to do next, "The next step is I should get some practice using my fruit on some pirates maybe becoming a bounty hunter would be a good step in the right direction."

As I finally get to the area I want to go I finally got on top of the rock tower to see that there was a dried-up tree in the middle with an iconic fruit dangling on from one of the branches, "Perfect the fruit of fire is ready for the pickings."

The Mera Mera no Mi is a round orange fruit, composed of many flame-shaped components with swirl patterns on each one, and has a swirled stem on the top, looking at it I quickly rush towards it at full speed!

Questions for later time to see where I stand as I grabbed the Mera Mera no Mi and placed inside my Inventory for saved another day

Now that I have done my objective for the day, I decided to test out my Goro Goro no Mi.

With that done with I started to play around with my new lighting powers, "Still having to become lightning and control it is an awesome feeling."

I started to mimic Goku's stance using the Kamehameha substituting Ki with my lighting as I begin to chant, "Ka… me…"

The lighting started to condense into a ball of it as I continue to my chant, "… ha… me…"

The ball of lighting started to grow and begin to be even brighter before I finish the final chant, "…HA!"

With that, I released the ball of condensed electricity straight towards the sky releasing a huge amount of heat the lighting produced leaving anything that was on the top of the rock tower look like a lightning storm hit leaving behind everything in ashes!

When I look around the place, I see everything was turned into a scorched land while I was in complete disbelief, "Holy shit! I keep on forgetting that there was a reason why Logia is the strongest category in the Devil Fruit hierarchy… a single element can bring destruction like this easily without even trying…"

That was no joke like for really seeing a place above the rock tower just in the next second to see it scorched in seconds was an impressive feat in itself, "But that was just me playing with the lightning I haven't even begun to fully experiment with it yet… truly the Logia is powerful but freighting Devil Fruit…"

There was a reason why the Goro Goro no Mi was mentioned as the invincible devil fruit from Robin's words.

That is true there was hardly anyone in this world that can fly unless they use the Six Powers or a Devil Fruit otherwise it would be near impossible to win against someone who can fly!

But now comes the real question is how I should develop my Goro Goro no Mi to the best of my ability well with my Traveler function I could go to Raijin Island with my Traveler function to find a good place to train in my element.

As I managed to get myself down to the floor level of the island and sat down on the floor a thought occurred to me, "Right now I'm in the East Blue, the weakest for sure but the question remains that is there both canon and non-canon or not… hey System is there non-canon events here?"

"[Yes, Alex there are the non-canon characters that exist in this world the likes of Shiki, Trump Pirates, El Drago, and all the other kinds of characters in the One Piece world.]"

All of them right…

Ok, I guess I'll leave that for the straw-hat pirates to deal with but since I have these two fruits, I should consider moving somewhere else.

Although I could probably train here in peace it won't last for long if that is the case if I keep on shooting lightning bolts or beams all day long.

I guess going to Raijin Island it is then.

With that in my mind, I asked the system to let me travel to another location in this world, "Ok then System travel me to the location of Raijin Island in the New World."

With that now I'm on a stormy island with lighting strikes happening all over the place which makes my ears and my head to be in pain listening to all the rumbling sounds all over this place.

Damn!

It really is loud here!

But seeing the lighting strikes happen in this part of the island only made me glad since training in my natural element would help out a lot.

With that I started to explore the island for a bit roaming around the place to find a place to start out training but looking out on the horizon I managed to see a small city on this island protected by…

A really big umbrella?

Well, it's certainly a first for me time to look around the place.
