Chapter Beings:

The Sound Four landed a hundred meters away from Black, Orochimaru standing lethargically behind them.

The Lead Protectors had already been consumed, becoming a source of Calorific Energy for Black's Biokinesis. He let the black-handed in-world Character take a good look at the Three-Headed White Serpent before commanding Selene to fuse with him.

The moment Selene's assumed form melted inside Kai, Orochimaru's eyes shook.

Kai almost smiled, tasting the greed oozing out of the legendary Sannin. The bait had worked magnificently, it seemed.

Orochimaru was at one of his weakest moments. Not to mention, after failing to destroy the Village Hidden in the Leaves, he wanted just about anything that could enhance his knowledge and power.

The fluctuations the snake ninja had sensed coming out of Selene were just too much for him to ignore.

Orochimaru wanted the three-headed abomination.

Kai… was unwanted.

"Kill him," Orochimaru hissed, sweating. "Don't… underestimate him."

The Sound Four were about to rush at the black-haired man when their master finished his command. Stupefied, they looked over their shoulders.

For Orochimaru to even consider adding the warning… just how strong was their opponent?

Black loosened his shoulders, smiling with calm. The Sound Four were all Jonin-level ninjas. He didn't underestimate them, but he didn't fear them, either.

Moreover, Kai needed to be within 8 feet of Orochimaru to devour his tale. It wasn't just the opening and closing of the Book, either. It would take a few moments. With the protection of the guards around him, it would be a difficult task.

Not to mention, Orochimaru wasn't in a state of hearing reason. Otherwise Black would have tried talking it out with him, making some false promises.

For Black, only one way remained now.

Destroy the opponents and shake the the Legendary Sannin, forcing the white-skinned ninja to hear him out.

Opposite Black, being warned by their master, there was no holding back for the four bodyguards.

Boom!

Waves of Chakra exploded around the Sound Four, sending shockwaves in all directions.

Black could sense the Spiritual Energy emanating out of them. It wasn't at the level of his Mana Sense, as Kai still didn't have Chakra Manipulation Ability. Still, with his Breath over the 1st Threshold, and the presence of enormous Chakra, it wasn't a hard task, either.

As if that wasn't enough, Black suddenly sensed one more energy, purer than both Mana and Chakra. After consuming so many Contestants and other living beings, he had gotten an idea about the different kinds of energies.

Natural Energy… Black observed minutely. It's mixing with Life Essence and Spiritual Energy…

Sage Mode!

The Sound Four began transforming instantly.

Sakon and Ukon separated. Their bodies became red, hiding the cursed marks slithering over their bodies. Their eyes became yellow surrounded by black and a single long horn grew on opposite sides of each brother's foreheads, making them look like Onis.

Jirobo also underwent similar changes, weird protrusions bubbling up on his red body. His hair lengthened and his size became bigger and leaner.

Kidomaru went a step ahead of the other two, opening his third eye as his skin became red and his eyes yellow. He chewed on his web and spit it out, creating the Spider War Bow.

Tayuya took out the demonic flute, her skin also going red. Her long hair lengthened even more, becoming pink. Several horns appeared over her head, which began growing with her anger.

Cursed Seal - Level 2!

With their powers rising over ten times their initial battle prowess, it was enough to give heed to Orochimaru's warning.

Black, however, didn't go through any ridiculous transformation.

In response to Sakon and Ukon's transformation, Black bounced on the spot, beginning his warm-up.

To Jirobo's transformation, Black responded by flicking a few low kicks.

When Kidomaru took out the bow, Black fired light punches left and right, rolling his neck.

As Tayuya's demonic flute let out the first melody, Kai again bounced on the spot, rotating his shoulders.

Basic Fighter Warm Up!

The first to charge was also the strongest among the Sound Four.

Boommm!!

Sakon and Ukon left behind craters under their feet as they shot toward the black-eyed fool, their Chakra ripping apart air.

Black twisted his right foot, smiling.

The brothers were masters of Taijutsu and were the fastest among their fellow guards. It didn't come as a surprise for them to engage the opponent as the others prepared themselves.

However, just as seemed they would enter into a physical brawl with the enemy, Sakon grabbed Ukon's hand and threw him toward the opponent.

Sonic Boom split the ears as the ninja came inches near the enemy.

Then, under Kai's calm gaze, he disintegrated, smiling wickedly.

Parasite Demon Demolition Technique!

Ukon could only perform this technique after activating his cursed seal's second level.

Using his chakra, he disassembled his body on a cellular and proteinic level so that he could enter a target's body and begin killing him from within.

Kai, however, knew everything about his opponents, courtesy of Item-M.

Ukon didn't.

"Haha!" Sakon laughed demonically as other ninjas smiled, knowing well their enemy was as good as dead.

Only Orochimaru's pained face gained a frown, seeing that… abhorring smile.

Sure enough, just as it seemed Ukon would end the black-haired man, they saw something that rooted them to the ground, sending a chill down their spines.

Black could already sense a foreign parasite trying to take over everything within his body. The abnormal thing was he didn't resist at all.

Just as Ukon was only a fraction of a moment away from gaining 100% control, though, Black's right hand twisted into a sword.

Under the stupefied yellow gazes, he thrust the sword into his heart.

Squelch!

"NO!" Sakon growled out a cry.

Blood splattered everywhere, spluttering out from Black's destroyed heart.

In the next moment, Ukon's body seeped out of the host body, blood foaming in his mouth. The poor guy didn't even get to say his last words before he died, his heart crushed along with Black's.

Seeing one of them dying so easily and so early was already the greatest shock, but then Black just twisted his neck instead of falling to his knees and dying like a normal person. Flesh squirmed within his chest as a new heart appeared, his wounds healing instantaneously.

Instantaneous Regeneration?! Orochimaru shuddered. Does he have some relation with Hashirama's cells?!!

"Ahhhhhhh!" Sakon let out a shout and fired himself toward Kai. His speed was so great that it became difficult to tell him apart from the air.

But speed itself could go even higher.

Without equipping Items, Titles, and Skills, there was no way for Black to increase his Agility. However, this had never been his purpose, either.

Kai was meant to tread on the more general routine, becoming a user of Mana and Breath and combining his Selfless Breathing Transformations with both of these concepts. Black, on the other hand, was assigned to walk on the pure physical path by the Ad Infinitum.

After his training with Jin Taejin, Black had never gotten the chance to test out his martial arts prowess.

Now was as good time as any.

When it felt like there was nothing that could go faster than Sakon, Black blurred out of existence.

Northern ITF Taekwondo…

Firing himself straight ahead, Black became a streak of the thinnest line on a paper. He passed by Sakon without the ninja knowing about it. He passed by Kidomaru and Tayuya, too, their vision betraying them.

Not even their Sage Jutsu picked up on the natural disturbance.

Then, crossing everyone, Black landed in front of Jirobo's massive body, which was between him and Orochimaru.

Hyperspeed!

Black planted his left foot firmly on the ground, breaking it into chunks.

Northern ITF Taekwondo…

Then, under the stupefied gaze of Jirobo, Black spun 360 degrees and kicked straight, a massive boom echoing in its wake.

Front Kick!!

With his transformation, Jirobo was like a living mountain, every inch of his muscles weighing like a boulder.

Suddenly, the mountain lost its head, splashes of blood, skull, and brain matter raining on Orochimaru's blank face from tens of meters afar.
