Chapter 67 Eisenwald

Some time had passed since Lucy had come to the guild. By now the team of Natsu, Lucy and Happy had formed. They had already taken care of Macao who had gotten trapped while hunting Balkans in the forest as well. Her reputation in the guild has also grown a bit with it.

And recently she also went to the Daybreak quest recently and from the clients reports, team Natsu had completed it perfectly and made sure that the duke of Evaroo was caught for all the illegal things that he had done making the reputation of the newly formed team increase even more.

And now he can see Gray and Natsu fighting with each other creating a small commotion and Loki trying to pick up Lucy in between. Now he saw Loki running away after finding out Lucy was a celestial mage. What I don't understand is Lucy looks exactly like her mother and her ancestor Anna. Is he blind or something.

And now he came running back

"Stop guys Erza's here" he shouted out making everyone freeze and start shaking. Well, I can't deny that even though I am stronger than Erza, the kind of intimidation she gives out is greater since generally the guild members had never seen me get angry while Erza gets angry all the time.

She brought a huge horn, a souvenir from her last quest and started pointing out the problems caused by everyone and then ending it by saying she won't say anything for today. I laugh a bit knowing that she is not purposefully doing it and she is an actual airhead

Then exactly like in the plot Erza invites Natsu and Gray to form a team with her to go with her for a quest. The entire guild gets shocked and Mira comments that it will be the strongest team in fairy tail. While the only thing that comes to mind is that if Lucy had not joined this team in cannon, there would have been nobody to instil common sense to them.

As I was watching what was happening suddenly a voice that I had not heard for a long time came to my ears.

The idiot dark guild is thinking about using a flute that kills the listener not knowing that the flute is the home of three demons of Zeref waiting for the day they can cause chaos and destruction in the outside world.

Join team Erza temporarily and kill two of the three demons while making sure that everyone comes home safe, and the guild master's meeting goes on without any hitch.

My eyes slightly widened seeing the reward. The fact that a single demon turned into three has worried me a bit, but the reward of demon slayer fragment is what made my day. Even though I got arrows based on light element, as it goes on the chances of them being effective on stronger Etherious is very low.

I was planning on waiting till Gray get it and devise its properties or maybe find his father but right now the quest itself is giving me the reward I need for the future.

"hey Erza, mind if I tag along" I said shocking almost everyone.

"you were here Karna. I didn't even sense you there" even Erza had her eyes widened

"well I have been trying to see if I can erase my presence without using magic and it looks like it is working, plus this quest is making you take both Natsu and Gray too right so it looks like it will be interesting" Karna said with a smile

"your help will be highly valuable in this mission Karna" Erza agreed

"why don't you come along as well Lucy" I asked Lucy

"haah, why me"

"well, you see I am joining this team temporarily and the chances of all of them going on and causing more problems by themselves is very high. If you are there, the chances of them jumping into dangerous situations are very less" I replied with a smile

"do you have that little confidence when it comes to me Karna?" Erza asked while looking extremely shocked

"are you calling me an idiot" Natsu yelled

"yeah, I am not Natsu" Gray yelled out too

"Erza what happened in the last quest to Arrot village" I asked which shut Erza up and she kneeled to the ground while remembering the destruction she caused there

"and you two, I don't have to tell you about the things you got punished by granny" which made both Natsu and Grey shiver in fear remembering the trauma

Seeing its effectiveness, I decided to finish it

"Alright then, it seems like everyone agrees so Natsu, Grey, Lucy, Erza and Happy make sure to be on time"

I waited in the train station while looking for them to arrive. They came within a few moments and started having casual conversations with each other while familiarising themselves with Lucy. Then naturally they started to act like idiots. Though the size of Erza's luggage did scare me a bit as even I began to wonder what all things are inside it as I was not able to sense any magic armour in them.

"Hey Erza, I will do this mission with you, but I have a condition" said Natsu with a serious face

"hey, shut up idiot" Gray shouted "we will be glad to do this without any return Erza"

"well, it's alright Natsu, tell me the condition" Erza asked

"after the mission is over, I want to have a battle with you no holding back"

"is that so"

"yeah, I have grown stronger now, it won't be like last time" Natsu said with fire in his eyes

"alright, I agree" Erza finally said with a smile

Shocking the others as they never imagined Natsu challenging Erza and Erza agreeing to it

After a few minutes we all boarded the train and Natsu's motion sickness started acting up again. Even though there were medicines capable of curing this temporarily, seeing the destruction caused by Natsu it was unanimously decided by the medics of the guild that its better for Natsu to have a crutch like this.

After a few moments, Erza punched Natsu in the stomach making him fall unconscious and started telling us about the mission.
