I was sitting on the floor of Hogwarts' core room while beside me lay a lot of rune stones. These were the ones I took from Hogwarts' inventory. With my wand in one hand, I started to enlarge the stone using wandless magic, and I set a timer before sealing it into the stone. This way, the stone will return to its original size when the spell's energy is depleted. Don't get me wrong; I can make it permanently bigger, but that would defy the purpose of it.
I began using pure magical energy through my wand and compressing it at the tip so that I could start carving the runes. I was carving a runic array for soul scans, which took me 37 minutes to complete. What it does is simple: it allows Hogwarts to scan for souls instead of magic. So as soon as she integrates this runic array, she will gain the ability to detect souls. It's that simple.
Now, the next one is what will really give her an edge. I created a tagging runic formation. It does exactly as the name suggests—it tags. What it tags is up to Hogwarts. After adding this, Hogwarts will be able to tag anyone or anything within its territory. But I was still not done; those were just pieces of the puzzle that I was creating and assembling.
I then went ahead and started creating runic inscriptions, arrays, and formations for different things such as interference, anti-interference, cleansing, reading, biological scanning, energy scanning, shielding, extraction, suppression, and more. I was finally done after 5 to 6 hours of work, and the update to the school's defense system was surprisingly smooth. What Hogwarts did was incorporate the functions of the rune stones into her core system, and now she gained new abilities. If only I could do that.
Haaaah, now that this is finally done, I'll just leave it to Hogwarts to scan and identify any and all foreign influences, harmful or not.
Uh, I forgot to add a data storage function. Here we go again. I finished this one quickly, so it wasn't a big problem. I then went into a different room and started drawing massive containment, fortification, and jailing formations. After I was done, I locked in what I will from now on call psychic parasite. There's no going out of here. Only I or Hogwarts have access to this room, and even Hogwarts needs my permission to add anything. There's no escape.
Now, I truly have nothing left to do with this thing until I am sure that this is the only one. If there are more, they will be joining this entity while I trace back its origin and find a way to destroy it.
I went into the RoR and sat down. I didn't have the mood to do anything, so I just started reading stories from my grimoire. There's a great story called *One Piece* that I am reading right now; it is a masterpiece. I didn't want to rush through it, so I stopped and asked my grimoire if it could recommend something else. It did. It was called *Naruto*, another great masterpiece. This got me wondering if I could go to a reality where similar stories actually happened. I will ask the old man if I see him again after I finish my job.
Now that I'm on the topic, I noticed that these stories, no matter how great I find them, are just that—stories. If there's a reality where something similar is happening, there's a very low chance that the events would be the same. I mean, these stories were written for entertainment. The authors of these stories might have been inspired to write them, but in the end, they were crafted to accommodate audiences of different age groups. So the events might be very different. I need to keep this in mind just in case I go to a similar reality for a job. Ugh, I started this so that I could relax and not think! So why am I thinking now?
I closed the story section of my grimoire and started studying magic again. If I have to think, then let it be about something productive. I wanted to start alchemy, but I still have to finish the required knowledge of rituals and potions, so I just began studying spells.
I got bored. What's happening to me today?
I went into meditation and entered my mindscape, scanning everything. Well, the good news is that there's nothing really wrong with me. The bad news is that I am a teenager, and my emotions are finally in sync with my body, which is not good. My body hitting puberty is affecting my emotions, and I can't stop it or I'll stunt my growth. I'll go look for Hermione to ask questions. And so I did. I went to the library, which was full of students, by the way. It was a great sight. It made me feel like I was one step closer to achieving my goal.
I found Hermione sitting at a table full of books, scribbling notes, with Luna next to her, reading a book upside down. What the hell, Luna?! I walked toward them, ignoring the questioning looks I received from the other students. I arrived in front of them, took Luna's book, flipped it the correct way, and handed it to her. She looked at me like I was the weird one, so I just said, "Your book was upside down." She didn't respond with words; instead, she just showed me that what I did was unnecessary. The book was written so that it could be read upside down. I scratched my neck and looked the other way. I didn't want to look at her now.
Hermione was still immersed in her books. I didn't want to disturb her, so I just sat there, watching her. The serious look on her face and her slightly furrowed eyebrows, the way her hair was messily put up in a bun with her wand somehow holding it together, and the way she moved from one book to another to reference information—she looked pretty.
Huh! I shook my head slightly. This was Hermione; she was always pretty. Yeah, I just have to focus, and the fuzzy feeling will go away.
She finally noticed me sitting in front of her and said, "Harry, what are you doing here? How long have you been here?" Her voice was loud due to her excitement. Good thing I cast a noise-canceling spell on top of the ones in the library.
"Hm, I was here to ask you a few questions, if you're not busy that is," I told her.
"Well, ask away then; what are you waiting for?" she said. From her tone alone, I could tell she was excited about something; I didn't know what.
"Um, uh, how do I say this…" I was thinking of how to start, but she cut me off, saying, "Start from the beginning."
"Okay, so my emotions are finally in sync with my body, and I don't know what to do. I wanted to know what people our age usually do, you know, to get their heads back in the game. I am distracted by different things and can't use Occlumancy to rein in my emotions just yet," I told her what I wanted to ask.
"Uh, I don't know. Why don't you go ask one of the boys? What we girls do is different, so I can't help you with that, sorry," she said in a hushed voice, her face turning red.
"Well, I don't have friends on the boys' side," I said quietly, looking away.
"Harry! Don't say that! I'm sure you have…" she was interrupted by Luna, who said, "Go talk to Neville; he's always been on your side. You can trust him." Her voice sounded serene.
Huh, I guess I forgot about him. So I just looked at her for a few seconds before standing up. "Okay, I'm going to find Neville then. Thanks for the help," I told them and started walking away, leaving the library.

I just finished writing the last chapter for valume 1, I'll edit and upload it on pat.reon later.
This valume is fast without much of character or world development for a reason.
Volume 2 as I said before will start in DxD. There will be no +18 related to the plot of the story but I will still upload 1-2 skipable chapters of pure smut for those who want them. Thanks for the votes by the way.
Anyhow, don't forget to comment, review and give power stones..
Enjoy 😊😉
