The golden ring

Will could sense that the Williams soul was deeply hurt and in pain.

He wanted to move closer when suddenly he was frozen, or rather his soul was frozen.

Due to the unknown place they were, they both exist in their soul form.

Williams soul abruptly stood up nimbly and looked at Will's soul with a piercing gaze, "So you're responsible for forcefully occupying my body".

Will wanted to refute, but he couldn't explain what happened.

Seeing him struggling Williams said, "It's not like I'm angry or whatever. The cause for my recent behavior was what happened out there. All my life i've always wanted someone apart from my family to love me, someone to care for me, someone who can willingly die for me, A love beyond the stars. But what did I get at last. She didn't even look at my face."

Will just kept quiet, or rather he was short of words.

He suddenly felt the atmosphere around him change. It was filled with an intense sorrowful air. Looking at Williams he discovered that he was surrounded by a strong sorrowful aura, a tear drop from his left eye as he lifted his head up staring at the void space, he said, "All I needed was a soul to rely on, a shoulder to c...cry..on, to spend the rest of my l....life in peace."

He completed his last sentence with much difficulty as his soul started breaking down into molecular particles.

Just before his soul completely dissolve away he looked into Will's eyes and said, "My family, protect them for me while I'm gone. Make sure Elena achieve her goal of becoming a strong mage. I will give you a gift before I go, although some might consider it a curse it is actually the best gift I can offer for pledging to protect my family."

As he stretched his hand, an azure flame burst out of it and entered Will's glabella.

Will suddenly felt a strange feeling in his gut. A feeling of sorrow, guilt, all sorts of negative feeling.

"This feelings will accomplish you to the end of your journey, With this you will find it difficult to trust much less love. It is a seal that can only be broken by love. The curse can only be broken if you finally love a soul. With this I think your path should be much more smoother, the less people the better".

Just before Williams soul was erased completely Will quickly speak, "I don't get, why will you do this over your misfortune. All this can't just be because of your heartbreak, can it?"

"Just so you know it, I was poisoned by Elizabeth. The price couldn't accept another person competing love with him so he asked Elizabeth to poison me. Your little encounter with them now just put you in danger, they would have realized the poison didn't work so they will make sure to complete there work."

With this being said Williams soul sighed which resounded in the void space. The last part of his soul was turned into particles and swept away by time.

Will closed his misty eyes and bow to the disappearing soul of Williams, "I promise to protect your family, I will make those who planted your death regret. I Will will become the strongest mage, my name will travel through every corner of this world."

Outside, Will eyes opened and it was filled with a strong determination to become the strongest human to ever live.

The ring on his hands suddenly let out a low sound and it begin to glow with a blue red light.

BOOOOOOM

A sound suddenly erupted from the ring and the red light surrounding exploded and reached every corner of earth.

But what Will was unaware was that the red glow went past his current planet and kept going.

In a faraway place from earth, an handsome middle age man was sitting in a crosslegged position.

If one checked carefully it could be seen that he was currently sitting on a red sun. He was absorbing the sun energy at a speed visible to the eye.

Suddenly he opened his eyes when he felt a red glow swept pass him, as if submitting to his eyes which was deep and profound as though they contain all the secrets that lies within the world, the red sun dimmed and the moons and planet surrounding him exploded into tiny pieces.

He rose on his feet and rode forward, although he only appeared to be walking, every step he on the void space crossed beyond the galaxies. Every of his breath distorted the space surrounding him, he was like an immortal with unfathomable strength.

After traveling for some minutes he finally saw a huge levitating red palace surrounded by fire, he rode majestically forward into the palace, it was filled with strong spiritual treasures.

When he entered, people started greeting him in different manners but all kept quiet when they heard an old voice from the depth of the palace.

They all said in unison as they bowed their head in the direction of the voice.

The handsome middle aged man lifted up his head and said, "No father, I am here on a different matter. I know you have felt it."

The voice sighed and said, "Yes, I felt it. The peaceful days are over."

"The golden ring has finally chosen it's host but it's strange this time. It's like it's accepting the host as if master. You know what to do boy, protect him at all cost"

The voice said before retreating his aura.

The handsome middle age man walked towards a red door and opened it.

"Come on Dad, I told you to always knock"

A sweet and charming voice rang out from within the room.

The handsome middle aged man scratched his head awkwardly and said, "Come here Eva, there a job for you"

A young lady shoot out of the room. She had a red hair and a heavenly beauty that could make even nature jealous of hers. Even the most beautiful flower seems to fade in comparison to the young lady peerless face.

Although she appeared to be not more than twenty, when she came out of her room the few people passing by gawked at the sight of her devilish curves.

"It about time your dream gets to be fulfilled. You are going to earth 3".

Eva squinted her eyes and rebuked, "Why! Earth 3 of all places. Come on it's my first mission, can't I at least go to more advanced earth like earth 18. With my level, that one should fit me most"

The man sighed and asked, "Have you even listen to the objective of your mission?"

Eva pouted, "What else could it be, it's not something new".

Seeing her daughters ignorance the man laughed. His daughter had always been troublesome since birth, even he couldn't control her. He touched his chin and said, "What you're doing now is a special mission"

Eva upon hearing the word special quickly rise on her toes and pecked her ears forward, "hehe, tell me. It's rare hearing special mission"

The man gestured with his hand and said, "You are currently on a quest to protect a boy from...."

Eva sharply cut her father off and raised her hand, "Just so I understand, my first mission is to babysit a boy"

"He's the inheritor of the golden ring"

"Blah blah what if he is the inh... Wait did you just said the golden ring"

The man nodded, "Yes, that is why I am sending you there. It will take you 3 years to reach earth 3 so I think he should also have advanced to earth 3 by then."
