Making your own publishing company was by no means easy, but if you are rich like him, people will be willful, Cryd prefers to use his money for things he can buy and use it as an investment to do things he can't buy.
Sure, it was an ambitious thought, but Cryd is more than willing to be the most ambitious person in the world than to just be nothing.
Anyway, once Cryd has decided on something and he was sure of it, he will do it immediately, the first thing he did was say it to his grandfather who was his guardian who asked some questions.
[What is it for?]
"For my future"
[Do you need my help?]
"I will do this on my own grandpa"
After that short interview and Cryd getting permission, the first thing he did is to look for a good location where he can place his company, He also wanted to have its own bookstore to sell its own merchandise and a cafe so customers can relax when they wanted to read the book that they have bought.
It took a week for him to find a perfect place which was in Akihabara, a building with 5 floors, 150 square meters, and the place has a lot of traffic which is perfect for business, it was also located on the most popular street.(I don't know anything about house sizes since im dumb, but if it's too big or too small, do tell me)
It was certainly expensive, well, for the others but for Cryd, it wasn't that much, anyway, after he bought the place, he immediately started its renovation, he wanted the first floor to be a cafe restaurant, the 2nd floor will be the bookstore, the 3rd floor will be temporary for the employees and the 4th floor will be vacant and the 5th floor will be his office and there will also be a penthouse.
After that Cryd also purchased a printing factory and changed all of the equipment to the latest ones, he did a lot of things as he wanted everything to be perfect, well, maybe not that perfect but the one he was satisfied with.
Also while he was doing those things Cryd didn't slack off in his work and also wrote some more things that he could add to the products of his store, anyway, he drew 2 other mangas other than Iruma-Kun, which were Haikyuu! And Clannad.
Those 3 covers the most popular genre's in the market right now, there is also a novel which was the 'A Song of Ice and Fire'.
He hasn't actually finished all of those yet, even though everything seems fast, it took Cryd a year and a half just to prepare all of these, he still doesn't have employees yet, and he still hasn't found any reliable person to run his company.
He could have asked his grandfather for connections but Cryd wanted to find someone on his own, a person who he could trust.
"I guess it's time to look around, I have to make it fast too, Nagi's birthday is near, and I have to find a gift for her."
During his next days, Cryd spent almost all of his time in front of the computer looking at the information about potential people he could hire, there was a lot and he didn't want to miss anyone good so he spent his time carefully reading their information.
It took him 3 days to filter out those he didn't want, in the end, there are only 30 left, he now has to interview the 30 people that he has left and choose one among them.
After he was sure he was done, Cryd stretched his body feeling stiff after sitting in front of the computer all day long, and looking at the time, he finally decided to rest, he looked at the stack of papers beside him for the last time before leaving it.
After he left, the papers were left behind and a light breeze blew the top paper a little bit, and below it is a picture of a girl who looked out of place in the stack of papers, and it seems like even Cryd didn't notice it.
A few days later, the interview finally started and Cryd was waiting at his office, beside him was his grandpa who joined and on the other side of him is the head chef of the restaurant Tenshu, who Cryd have hired from a restaurant he have found. (From Isekai Shokudo)
The interview is going to be simple as they only needed to see the person then ask some questions, and if Cryd liked someone but was not enough for the position, he will place that person into a division where he could give some help.
"Are you ready Cryd?"
His grandpa asked him with a smile, he was quite proud of Cryd, a 7-year-old already establishing his own business, though, he was privileged with his family status and huge wealth, not many kids will do this at this age even if they were given the same.
"Yes, grandpa. We can start"
Cryd nodded.
The interview then started, it was a boring process but Cryd put his full attention to each of them, he didn't want to miss any kind of talent, he observed them from head to toe then his eyes observed them more like he wanted to see the deepest hidden secrets inside their very souls.
And yes, he can't see through them at all, but instead, he focused on their body language and other things.
"Okay let's take a break, bring us some snacks here"
His grandpa said, Tenshu who was sitting on the side nodded and left his seat to make some snacks.
Meanwhile, Cryd stretched his stiff body and continued to look at the list of papers in front of him, even though the interview was simple, Cryd prepared a lot of questions that can trick a person into showing his personality and it worked quite well, anyway, out of the 15 that he had interviewed only 3 has passed but they were not suited for the position so he put them in another division.
"Is it tough?"
His grandpa suddenly asked, Cryd looked at his grandfather then looked back at the paper in front of him.
"Everything is tough at first, but im sure…in the end, everything will be worth it"
Cryd replied, his grandpa froze for a few seconds before he rubbed Cryd's head/
'If you two are here, you will surely be proud of him'
His grandpa couldn't help but think of Cryd's parents.
"That's a good answer, and speaking of which, you will enter school next year, I already let you home-study when you are in kindergarten but I won't allow you any further"
"I understand"
Cryd nodded, he didn't really think too much about it, in his case, going to kindergarten was just a waste of time so he spent those years improving himself and building his company, he already has planned to enter middle school.
"By the way, its your sister's birthday soon, did you prepare her a gift?"
"Of course, it has already been prepared"
"Good, I won't help you if she gets angry that you didn't give her any gift"
Soon, the snacks arrived, and they continued the interview, everything was as usual until an interesting person entered the room.
A girl wearing an oversized shirt that reaches her knees, has green hair, gold-colored eyes, and a neutral face even when facing them and the most interesting thing is that she looked like someone who is close to Cryd's age.
But when they looked at her resume, she was a young adult, since it will be rude to say someone's age, they didn't specify that she graduated from Tohoku University, one of the most prestigious universities in japan.
Her name is Minano Matome, she has a 2-year experience working in the Publishing industry and she just left her previous job because she didn't like their working ethics, her resume is very clean and can be rated highly, but well, she was kind of a pervert but she works hard and very professional.
She doesn't show any expression and was very neutral, Cryd couldn't help but rate her highly, and after a few more questions, Cryd has taken her as a candidate for the position, since the interview hasn't ended yet, he can't give her the job yet, he might be able to find someone better than her, and if there is someone better than her, she will become a head chief of the publishing division.
But his worries were unnecessary in the end as he didn't find anyone better than her and so, she got the position of the president of the company, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the company.
Anyway, Minano is expected to start her job tomorrow and her job, for now, is to fill up the employees and also look for manga artists and authors that will work for the company, Cryd can't do everything on his own after all.
Once everything is done, Cryd returned home and started preparing for his little sister's birthday.
