With the completion of the tests conducted by Kaoru, the entrance exam process for U.A. Academy also came to an end.
As expected, Kaoru successfully entered Class 1-A, where the protagonist resides.
Kaoru's position replaced Minoru Mineta, who only played the role of a clown and comedian in the canon story.
While Mineta's ability to capture enemies was decent, his overall capabilities were ordinary at best and perhaps even dismal.
Moreover, sitting next to the class president was a bonus for Kaoru, although it certainly wasn't because the class president next to Kaoru was a pretty girl; that couldn't be the reason.
As for Subaru, he managed to enter the Hero Class 1-B because his current abilities were still at the level of an ordinary human who happened to acquire superpowers.
Meanwhile, Ryza, initially accepted into Hero Class 1-B, chose to transfer to the Support Class because she preferred experimenting with materials and equipment for heroes.
Surprisingly, Ryza quickly befriended Hatsume Mei, which Kaoru believed might have happened because of their similar attitudes, both being passionate about research or new discoveries.
After a brief introduction similar to the canon events, where Aizawa greeted the new students with his eccentric style and conducted quirk comprehension tests for the students, the tests proceeded smoothly without any injuries except for Deku. As Kaoru had suspected, the protagonist was indeed different. By using a small percentage of One for All in his fingers, Deku was able to throw a ball with incredible distance, surpassing even Bakugo's throw, much to the latter's annoyance.
"Now, Makoto Kaoru, use your best method to throw that ball!"
As usual, Aizawa gave orders as if he didn't care about anything except sleeping, but Kaoru knew, at least Aizawa was better than Kakashi.
Kaoru stepped forward and created two pairs of portals on his left and right sides. Then, casually, Kaoru dropped the ball into one portal in front of him.
Alternately, the ball emerged from the portals on Kaoru's left and right sides, gaining speed each time it passed through.
The process continued for some time until the ball appeared as a streak of light. When Kaoru felt it was enough, he created a new portal right in front of him, and in an instant, the ball was thrown out with terrifying speed.
Although under normal conditions, the ball was safe to use, the speed Kaoru used could potentially cause significant damage, enough to make Aizawa shiver at the thought.
Kaoru could have thrown the ball with normal force and then created a portal to connect it to the farthest point he could reach, but for Kaoru, that method wasn't cool enough.
Of course, Kaoru's action surprised all the students, including Bakugo, who had always been focused on Deku.
Honestly, if Kaoru had to comment, seeing Bakugo and Deku's relationship reminded him of the relationship between Madara and Hashirama, as well as Sasuke and Naruto, both relationships slightly suspicious.
"If I'm not mistaken, their doujinshi is much more abundant than doujinshi with normal relationships for My Hero Academia," Kaoru murmured, fortunately, without anyone hearing.
With Kaoru's splendid performance, their first day at school ended.
After regrouping with Ryza and Subaru, Kaoru immediately invited them back to Urahara's place, of course, using portals.
Besides, only fools wouldn't take advantage of such abilities for travel, especially if they had a tight schedule.
-----
Arriving in front of the suspicious-looking shop that clearly belonged to Urahara and was quite out of place in the modern surroundings, they were welcomed by Urahara, dressed in black hakama, a strange hat, and carrying a paper fan.
"Welcome!"
Urahara, who greeted his guests enthusiastically, immediately turned gloomy upon seeing Kaoru and the others.
"Haishh, it's you guys. I thought it was customers earlier," Subaru, feeling slightly offended by Urahara's apparent regret at welcoming them enthusiastically, protested.
"If you set up a shop in this place, I'm more likely to believe that monkeys have gone to the moon than customers coming here," Subaru remarked.
"Hmm? But there was a customer earlier, a skinny guy who looked malnourished with strange blond hair," Urahara said.
"Ehh?" 3x
The three of them were shocked to hear that Urahara had managed to get a customer, and Kaoru was very familiar with the characteristics mentioned by Urahara.
"Umu, because his body was quite weak, I offered him a special candy made by the 12th Division when I was still there a few years ago, and bam, his body quickly recovered," Urahara explained.
With All Might's recovery, it meant that their mission would be easier. As long as All Might could watch over the students, Kaoru wouldn't have to worry too much about them.
"Urahara-san?"
"Yes?"
"You said the candy you sold was made a few years ago. Isn't it past its expiration date?" Subaru asked.
Urahara, hearing the question, laughed and waved his paper fan. "Hahaha, of course, all the products I sell are safe,... probably."
"AHHHHH, police, police, help, there's an evil merchant selling expired products!" Subaru shouted jokingly.
Seeing the comedic exchange between Urahara and Subaru, Kaoru and Ryza couldn't help but laugh.
After joking and laughing, Kaoru asked an important question. "So, where are our rooms?"
As usual, Urahara switched back to serious mode. "Oho, you're aware now? Then, come in!"
As Kaoru suspected, Urahara indeed loved creating underground spaces.
Their resting place was about 200 meters underground, equipped with various features, including a public bath and a training field.
"Well, since Tessai isn't here to help me, this simple model is all I could make," Urahara explained.
"Wow, I didn't expect the suspicious candy seller uncle could create a place like this," Subaru said.
"Ohhh, an underground headquarters is a brilliant idea. Next time, I'll invite Ampel-san and others to make one," Ryza commented.
"Quite impressive, and the rooms are interesting too," Kaoru added.
Urahara, hearing the praise from the three of them, felt pleased, even though it didn't show on his face.
Feeling tired after their activities, Kaoru and the others decided to freshen up before meeting to discuss how to complete their mission.
----
Inside the shop, Kaoru gathered with the other guild members to discuss their mission, and the most important thing they discussed was, "So, how long are we staying in this world?"
Although it sounded arrogant, Kaoru did have the ability to complete their mission quickly. Moreover, with Urahara's presence, if he used Bankai, Kaoru dared to guarantee that All For One would only become a research subject for Urahara.
Then, with All Might's recovery due to the candy sold by Urahara, and the bonus assurance that no higher beings would interfere, Kaoru couldn't imagine anything that could make their mission fail.
In simple terms, this mission was suitable for beginners with a little power.
"I need a lot of points, so I need to defeat many villains to get the points I need," Subaru, who desperately needed strength, naturally needed the most time.
"I have no problem. Besides, this world is quite interesting; there are many new things that I can't find in my world," Ryza said, simply wanting to enjoy the adventure in another world.
When Kaoru looked at Urahara, he saw that Urahara was thinking seriously. As if enlightened, Urahara then looked at Kaoru and spoke.
"Gilmas-san, considering that you bought information about the world we're in right now and I've seen that there is indeed information about various worlds in the shop, but I haven't thoroughly checked it, can it be interpreted that you've also bought information about all our guild members' worlds?"
Kaoru, slightly surprised by Urahara's words, immediately nodded to confirm the question.
"In other words, you at least have some basic information about the other guild members' worlds, like how dangerous those worlds are, right?"
Kaoru nodded again to the question.
"In that case, I suggest we stay in this world for at least 3 months to a maximum of 1 year."
"In a world themed with heroes and villains, 3 months is enough to gain many points, while 1 year is the limit before we all get too accustomed to the lifestyle here, which could be dangerous if we get complacent with the lifestyle here and return."
"In my world alone, it can be said to be much more dangerous than this world because there are unseen beasts called Hollows, and those who exterminate Hollows and guide the souls of the dead are known as Shinigami."
"Then the tracksuit boy, Natsuki-san's world, with the power to save and load every time one dies, surely the scale of power there is also very high. It's possible that there may be someone strong enough to create a separate dimension for various purposes, or perhaps some kind of unseen power that can be used for attack or defense, well, I don't know for sure."
"Next is the alchemist Stout-san's world, with the existence of magic, and alchemy classified as lost knowledge, there could be ancient creatures or something created with alchemy with powers beyond human imagination dormant there, and because of the actions of foolish people who might awaken those ancient creatures, your world could be in a dangerous condition."
"Lastly, Gilmas Makoto-san's world, with the ability to control space at will, it's not strange if there are powers that can control time or other elements like fire, wind, lightning, and so on."
"With various possibilities of danger, it's clear that if we get too comfortable in this relatively safe world, we might be in danger when we return."
Hearing Urahara's reasonable explanation, they all nodded in agreement.
Even Kaoru felt a bit relieved because he didn't have to think about everything alone. As long as their mission was completed safely and without any problems, Kaoru could relax and focus on fighting.
They looked at each other and decided to accept Urahara's suggestion, agreeing to stay in this world for no more than one year.
After finishing their discussion, Kaoru decided to prepare dinner because he knew among the four of them, only he could cook. Perhaps Ryza could, but he was afraid that what she made would turn out to be an Elixir or Philosopher's Stone.
The first thing Kaoru did was make scrambled eggs, then throw cold rice into the pan, followed by various spices and ingredients such as salt, chili sauce, soy sauce, slices of sausage, and other toppings he could find. He also added the best ingredient, which was flavor enhancer, or more commonly known as MSG.
The dish Kaoru made was fried rice, so MSG was one of the essential seasonings in making it, and even the orange-clad uncle would surely agree with Kaoru.
After finishing, Kaoru served the food, and they all ate heartily before doing some light exercises, taking a shower, and going to bed to continue their activities the next day.
