"So, Trafalgar D. Water Law, I, as the leader of The Infinite Trailblazers guild, invite you to join us as a new doctor on our group...!"

The silence returned after Vanze done with his words as a few individuals have their eyes widen clearly shocked.

"Huh...?"

"Law...?"

"What!? How did you know my full name? I never told anyone beside Cora-san, not even to Baby 5...."

Rosinante and Law seemed taken aback as Vanze revealed Law's full name. Even Robin and Hancock were surprised by the appearance of another 'D' on their ship. The others continued to observe their conversation while indulging in eating a melon.

"No need to be surprised; I've been investigating a lot of people who attract me with their capabilities, including their background. Law, you have a solid background as a doctor," Vanze explained, though not revealing the whole truth.

"As far as I know, there are only three other people beside you with the talent to be a genius doctor at this time. One is an old lady who is more than 100 years old and has found a way to somehow keep her youth; the second is an old man who has traveled the whole world and lived his retirement with a giant whale; and the third is a reindeer who ate a Hito - Hito no Mi.

The first two are impossible to recruit due to their age, and the reindeer is still too young and far away from us. So, you are the only capable person with the talent to be a genius doctor, even without your Devil Fruit, Law. Born into a family of doctors and suffering from an incurable illness because of the World Government mining your hometown, you know the suffering and helplessness of that feeling. The will to keep moving on and continue to live is what makes you a great person, and that's why I invite you to our group," Vanze invited Law, sharing his understanding of Law's background.

In Vanze's eyes, Law was indeed the best candidate as a doctor in their crew compared to the other people he mentioned before. There was also the princess from the Tontatta tribe who had a Heal-Heal Fruit, but her personality didn't really match with their guild activities, and she was too far away.

Law and Rosinante heard his reasons, and the mention of those people shocked them before they both showed a frown on their faces.

"What nonsense are you talking about, Vanze? A reindeer?" Even Hancock felt the last person he mentioned was ridiculous.

"Well, that reindeer is the disciple of the first old woman I mentioned. If you don't believe me, it's fine," Vanze shrugged his shoulders, responding to the people around him.

"Well, it's not that we don't believe you, Vanze-san, but even I don't know everyone you mentioned," Rosinante replied with a wry smile.

"And even if you found me first while I still had that damn disease, how will you cure me? I won't even be able to live that long..." Law expressed the main problem for him. The Amber Lead disease is impossible to cure without the Ope - Ope no Mi, as far as he knows.

"Heh, even without the Ope - Ope no Mi, I still have a way to cure you. What I value is your character and your knowledge to become a doctor; the fruit is just a tool in my eyes. So, will you join us, Law?" Vanze indeed had many ways to cure him, such as pellets he just got from the gacha and a few other things in his mall.

Law, hearing Vanze finished talking, seemed touched. When he was still living with his family, he always helped them in their clinic, and his dad even said that he had the potential to surpass him. The people on this ship were also his benefactors, besides Rosinante, in his life.

Feeling confused about what he was supposed to choose, Law could only turn his head and stare at Rosinante, signaling that he needed some help.

"Don't look at me; it's your choice after all. Whatever your answer is, I will always support you," Rosinante shook his head at Law before giving the last encouragement.

"You don't need to answer now, Law; just think about it later. It's not like you're gonna leave anytime soon, right? Your current situation in the outside world is not really that good anyway. So, why don't you just stay with us for the time being?" Vanze interrupted Law from his reverie and suggested taking it slow.

"Right... About our current situation..." Rosinante also had a huge headache. After his successful attempt at stealing the Ope - Ope no Mi and saving Law by giving it to him, the Marines, World Government, and his brother would be hunting them down.

"Well, now let's talk about you, Rosinante..." Vanze suddenly shifted the topic from Law's recruitment to Rosinante. Everyone in the room was now staring at the clown, who had a puzzled look on his face.

"Or should I call you Saint Donquixote Rosinante, the former celestial dragon and the adopted son of the current Marine Fleet Admiral Sengoku? After accepting the mission to spy on your brother's pirate crew and stealing the object that the World Government is chasing, what is your next plan?"

"What!?"

"A former celestial dragon...?"

"The Fleet Admiral adopted him?"

"Cora-san..."

After Vanze suddenly dropped Rosinante's background, everyone in the room widened their eyes and felt surprised before showing disbelief.

Even Law had already guessed that Rosinante might be a spy from the Marines even before they got the Ope - Ope no Mi, but he didn't expect that his real identity was even more outrageous. Especially the World Nobles part; it was just unbelievable.

"How...?" Rosinante, whose identity had been blown by Vanze, was stunned. He couldn't believe that the man in front of him even knew about the adoption.

After feeling everyone stare at him, he looked around before seeing Law's disbelieving expression. Every single identity that he had definitely had an impact on everyone present here, especially the first one. There was no point in lying about it.

"As expected, you already know about my background. Yes, I used to be a celestial dragon before we lost everything, but now I'm just a spy who dedicated my life to stopping my brother's evil plan," Rosinante said with a bitter tone while confirming Vanze's words. He didn't plan to explain his past to anyone here, including Law.

"Cora-san..."

"Sorry for not telling you, Law, but it is not a good memory even for me. I also realize how disgusting my former identity is..." Rosinante said while giving a wry smile to Law and patting his shoulder.

After that, Rosinante turned his attention back to the man in front of him. He already had a plan for his next steps.

"Honestly, I don't know what to do for now. Going back to the Marines will only bring trouble for Sengoku-san. So, I decide to lay low and wait until this matter is passed for a while before trying to stop Doflamingo's plan," Rosinante said.

"You still want to continue to pursue your evil brother?" Robin, beside Vanze, questioned his plan.

After seeing Doflamingo's actions on the Minion Island, she concluded that the pink guy was not easy to mess with just by Rosinante's strength alone. Vanze just kept listening to the conversation because he knew Rosinante was just too naive and stubborn.

"Yes, I need to stop him. I know that I don't have the power to stop him alone, but I need to try," Rosinante replied with a firm gaze toward them.

"Even though you know you will die by doing it?"

"If I can save more people, then my answer is still yes."

Vanze kept staring at the naive fool in front of him. It's not that he doesn't like Rosinante's personality; it's just that kind of mindset reminds him of a certain unlucky partner of justice who had his life fucked up by his own actions.

Vanze enjoys a hero story and admires them, but he doesn't want to become one of them. He is the kind of person who would rather see the whole world burn to the ground than see the people he cares about suffer from the bad things he does. So, in his eyes, Rosinante's plan is ridiculous.

They kept staring for a while, making the onlookers nervous, especially Law. He knows Doflamingo is not, by any chance, a weak pirate.

"Sigh, why do you need to do this kind of thing alone? Even if you can't send the information to the Marine, you could just send it to the revolutionary army. There are so many ways to prevent your brother's evil plan rather than courting death by facing him head-on...

Well, whatever. It's not really my concern, but you can also stay with us for the time being. Don't worry and just focus on your recovery, Rosinante," Vanze said with a sigh.

The others who listened to Vanze's suggestion nodded, agreeing with his words. Even the kids around seemed to agree; only Rosinante had his mouth agape, but soon he shook his head with a bitter smile.

"Thank you for everything, Vanze-san and everyone," Rosinante once again said his gratitude to them and agreed to stay with them for the time being.

"Alright, so I guess we are done with the talking, right?" Vanze said while looking around before Robin suddenly interjected.

"You almost forgot about the X man right there, Vanze." She reminded him, pointing to the other guy who stayed silent throughout the entire conversation.

"Yeah... Dory, right? We found you passed out and almost buried by the snow back then. What's your plan now?" Vanze asked the silent brown-haired guy. Without Robin's reminder, maybe he would have just ended their meeting. The X dude really has no sense of existence at all after all.

The others in the room also started staring at Dory now. They are curious about this person who barely even talks and always seems scared. But not Hancock; she showed disdain for a second when Vanze mentioned him.

Feeling everyone's gaze suddenly turn to him, Dory felt overwhelmed. He really didn't think about his next plan at all; he only hoped that he could escape from his father's pirate crew. Now that he's free from the fear and the abuse he always went through there, he suddenly feels confused.

"I... I-I don't know... I only want to escape from my father's influence," he said slowly before dropping his head down.

The others just kept staring at him; even several of them showed disappointment in their eyes after seeing his attitude.

"Dory, I know you are afraid and still disappointed with your previous crew right now, but you gotta get your shit together. I don't know much about what happened to you, but you are not the only one who has his life fucked up in this room...

Look around; even Law and Rosinante have their own situations, but they don't let their problems become a hindrance in their lives. You can also stay with us for now; just try to find what you want to do first for the starter," Vanze said, offering his suggestion to Dory.

Vanze noticed that even his crew doesn't have much interaction with the X scar guy, so he can't help him that much. He didn't even try to bond with them like Bepo and Law.

After hearing Vanze's suggestion, Dory looked up and looked around before answering Vanze. "Um... Thank you..."

"Alright then, I guess we are done now, right?" Vanze said while looking around at the people in this room.

"I have something to talk to you about, Vanze," Robin said, and he could see that it must be an important one. Vanze is wondering why there are so many things that need to be discussed today.

"Fine, Reiju, could you please bring back our patient to his room, and also the kids to their study room; it's almost time for Uta and Bepo's class after all," he said, trying to drive out the people who have still not joined their crew with an excuse.

"Alright, Rosinante-san, let me help you go back."

"Cora-san, let me help."

"Thank you, Miss Reiju; everyone, I'll go back first."

"Eh... Is it already time to study?"

"Come on, kids, chop chop. You don't want to make Robin angry, would you?"

"Hai~!"

Reiju took the kids and Rosinante out of the meeting room, and even Dory followed them. After watching them leave, there are only the core members of his team right now.

"Tsk, what a useless guy. That wimp couldn't even be called a man," Hancock suddenly complained about a certain brown-haired guy.

"You can't blame him, Hancock. That guy has severe trauma from his look alone," Azel said while trying to defend Dory.

Yamato also doesn't have any curiosity about that kind of man; she's only curious about the prospect of a new member like Law. "I'm even more curious about Law's decision; will he agree to join us?"

"So what is our next plan, Vanze?" Robin asked.

"Hmm, I can see Law still hesitated to join us, and Rosinante is still wary about us. I mean, we never showed them anything at all besides our ship after all. If we can't convince them with our words, why don't we use force then," Vanze said, giving another alternative to their current problem.

"Huh? You want to beat them up?" Yamato looked surprised by his idea.

"That's not what Vanze meant, Yamato." Robin looked at the oni princess with a dumbfounded look; even Hancock and Azel were shaking their heads. She wondered if Yamato still needed more education from her.

"Hahaha, of course not. What I mean is to show them how capable we are so even if Rosinante wants to leave Law to us, he will feel relieved knowing that we can protect him." After revealing his true intention to the others, they felt it had a certain degree of success.

"But how are we supposed to do that?" Hancock asked. The others also stared at Vanze with a puzzled look; only Robin still maintained her smug smile on her face.

"Hehe, it's time to start the bird hunting operation." After saying that, the corner of his mouth started to lift up, and his purple eyes glowed for a second.
