Honestly, Saeko was having a little fun chatting with these people from different dimensions.

She didn't have many friends and she wasn't interested in forming any close bonds with anyone because she couldn't imagine how they would react if they found out about her true personality.

Nodding Akito placed his phone back into his pocket and got up while stretching.

He had another reason for skipping school. He wanted to see how 'toxic' Yuna's workplace was and exactly how bad the situation was.

If he saw something too unsavory then it was time for him to get money in his own way.

"She should still be by the metro,"

The chat hadn't taken too long, probably 20 minutes maximum, and knowing Yuna she must have wandered around a bit before finally heading to work.

He got up and headed for the metro station.

After waiting for a few hours that was exactly what he did.

Now doned in an entirely different attire he walked into the building while holding several lunch boxes. The uniform was a bit loose but not too much thankfully.

He was a bit sweaty since he was working out, He found it hard to waste a few hours doiing nothing. He was getting more and more used to the movements of the martial art technique that he had learnt.

The young guard who was yawning waved the delivery guy inside after checking the identity card. He regretted binging anime all night but didn't at the same time.

He didn't ask why he was wearing a mask and cap because he couldn't be bothered to.

This wasn't even the main office of C&C, why would anyone target it? Not to mention it would be stupid if someone tried something so early in the morning.

Arriving at a spacious hall, he looked around curiously. The receptionist and other people here seemed calm and serene nothing like how Yuna described it to be.

"Was her workplace on the 4th floor or 5th floor? Shit..." He remembered her telling him about his office a bit but that was quite a while ago and he hadn't paid much attention to it at that time.

Looking at the bag filled with lunchboxes he wryly smiled. Since had forcefully taken the job he might as well complete it.

The delivery man was already placed in a 'safe' place by him. He had also placed 5000 yen in his wallet and was even doing his work for the day!

Thus, Akito didn't feel he was doing anything too wrong.

With that, he went around delivering lunch boxes.

The work environment was, how should he say, okay?

It was nice on some floors but unbearable at others, it might the difference in responsibilities and tasks but he still didn't like the heavy and tense atmosphere some floors had.

When he arrived at the 7th floor he found out it was the one where Yuna was, as he could see her sitting among her colleagues doing her work.

There was slight sweat on her face and a frown on her face as her fingers moved about the keyboard.

He looked at the name tags of the three lunch boxes that were supposed to be delivered on this floor and nodded to himself.

Thankfully every employee had a name tag assigned at their workspace no matter how small so it made Akito's job extremely easy.

"Thank you," The middle-aged man said after receiving the lunch box and Akito nodded at him.

Just one more left.

"...Yuichiro Kai?" He looked around and headed a bit more inside, finally finding the name tag.

But there wasn't anyone there so he could only leave the lunch box on the desk.

"Are you stupid!?" A loud voice rebevrated in the office and Akito paused. His eyes darted over to the Cabin at the end which was covered in translucent glass.

"I TOLD YOU TO FINISH AND EDIT THE DOCUMENTS BY TODAY AND YOU HAVEN'T EVEN DONE HALF THE WORK! ARE YOU HERE TO PLAY AROUND!?" This time the voice was louder, close to screeching which annoyed him.

"Poor Yuichiro," A lady sighed in pity.

"That pig expects him to do a month's work in a week, does he think that we're slaves?" The middle-aged man he had just given the lunch box earlier grumbled but didn't dare speak too loudly.

"It's a daily occurrence since last week."

"He was too greedy and accepted the new task without any considerations just to gain a promotion, in the end, we'll be the ones that put all the work into it but he'll eat up the benefits," Yuna said in a rather calm but tired voice.

Others chimed in and agreed with her.

Akito just silently watched this all before leaving.

Leaving the building he first helped the delivery man he had knocked unconscious get up and left the clothes there. Wearing his clothes back he observed the delivery man from a corner and seeing that he started wearing his clothes in confusion, Akito left.

He directly went back home and drank some water.

Honestly, the situation wasn't really as bad as Yuna described it to be, maybe it was because he hadn't experienced himself, he didn't know how pressuring it was to work in such an environment.

Nevertheless, Earning money was a must.

"What can an 18-year-old like me do for quick money?"

He had no special skills besides the Martial Arts he gained.

'I don't think I can work as a bodyguard either.' Working as a bodyguard was lucrative but this wasn't some fantasy world where one could just be a bodyguard by being stronger.
